These are the days I’m glad I’m not a podcaster.

KennyY

I truly hope Michael Beale sees what we see. I’m with Stevie Clifford now on Ben Davies. Need to move him on in the summer. 1 window isn’t going to fix this mess. Waited all weekend for that. Dreadful

Damien Stubbs

Save yourself David. Cancel tomorrows coverage 😂

Neil Fox

Both Aberdeen starting forwards have 18 goals each this season, Van Veen at Motherwell has 20, Shankland has 22 None of ours are near that although we create far more chances

Neil Fox

Shocking mate I'm not suggesting we go out and buy 3 of those I've mentioned but it has to change. If clubs are finding players like this why the hell can't we

David

Back post Borna again tho

Allan

So David, agree with everything you say. But here's the thing I'd like those of you, who actually have the chance to speak and ask a question of the manager, to do. Please phrase the question exactly as you did in this video, polite and respectful, but seriously how can he say most of these players will be back? They certainly will get him the sack. Yes, they're good enough to beat most other teams but there's only one that really matters and they've shown time and time again they are just not up to it.

Neil Fox

Scary thinking about it Duk came from Benfica B Van Veen from the lower leagues down south I'm not suggesting that's our first choice no 9 next year but we need better Morelos is finished an it's probably sad to say he won't get anywhere near the level he could have Colak = Kris Boyd Roofe 🏥🏥🏥🏥🏥

Allan

I'm sick of watching us miss chance after chance only to give balls away and have teams create 2 chances and score from both. Or worse one chance and get the goal that scrapes the draw. Happens all too frequently and has done so for years. I'd love to see the actual statistic for our goals conceded versus the chances created. I suspect it would make dismal reading.

David whyte

Back post Borna strikes again, how many goals have we lost due to Borna switching off? Absolutely criminal defending

Steven Barbour

This won't be popular but Beales remit when arriving this season was 1 close the points gap = failed 2 Win the league Cup = failed 3 Win the Scottish Cup = ?? Going to be very very tough next week.

Peter Hosie

3 biggest matches against them and failed 3 times

Peter Hosie

I’m sure it was 80% Possession in 1st half and we’re done by Morelos being lazy and then a massive fluke. 4 out of last 5 games we’ve lost 2 goals and no one can blame Kent. I think Matondo was a positive but that’s me grasping at straws. Raskin 1st sub was awful management. Lastly consistent fouling against us yet our captain or others don’t pressure the ref then one serial offender dives and still no booking.

Heart and Hand

Yup, season has been a disaster. However we need to give him a summer and a season and see where we are. Changing managers every year is a recipe for disaster.

Steven Barbour

Yeah totally agree David,I'm not after managers head he needs time and transfer windows but the half a season he has had has culminated in failure.

Paul

Just saw Beales interview. Said we have a number of young players like Raskin and Cantwell. Cantwell is 25! Raskin is 22 with over 80 games for standard under his belt. Age is not a factor. Application was

Paul

Totally agree mate. We are still awful to watch and making the same mistakes and still not being clinical. He has to win next week.

Paul

I agree David. However results will dictate about changing manager. The way you finish a season plays a big part on how you start the next one..I can only hope the majority of the squad won't be here!

Last year our team had immense fitness. This year the volume of injuries is a strong indicator of how low our fitness levels are in comparison to even opponents such as today. That was my observation from watching the game today. The additional work being placed on the midfield to support Lundstrum is madness. The drop off may be due to the dynamic teammates who have left the club, such as Aribo and Bassey. The way they played pushed others on to develop . It most likely is due to attitude and age. Either way . This squad needs rebuilt with a team squad who can compete with the fastest teams in Europe for pace. You may have noticed I didn’t even talk about football . I believe a team without optimum fitness wins nothing .

Mark Ronaldson

We need to start putting the ball in the net and defending better or we will get nowhere fast next season. I am sick though of all the off the ball stuff that happens to our players with the referees just ignoring it. However, what enrages me further is the lack of leadership on the park regarding pulling refs up on decisions that are poor just like Davie Weir, Bazza, Craig Moore and Amoruso used to do. I'm actually tired of watching Celtic players, along with other teams players, surround the referee when they feel wronged then looking at our team and they don't even seem to question the referees. If you watch that Aberdeen game back there was over 20 off the ball examples.

David Kiltie

Fitness this season has been much discussed. A good pre-season is the key to resolving this. The season pivots on next Sunday. Lose that and we just want the season to end. The most important thing is to conclude several new signings in time for pre-season. The need for a major rebuild this summer is obvious. The flip side of that is that if many players know they won’t be here next season that is likely to be reflected in limp performances like today.

Allan

I hope so too. I just think that's a lot of players who've, from where I watch, have time and time again shown they can't do it.

Allan

It's one thing to have a remit it's quite another to get a bunch of guys who are past their sell-by date to achieve something. Personally, I'd suggest until today his only flaw was against the beasties. And, I'm not sure why anyone would think this team could beat them. For me, he's got them close, probably as close as anyone could. Today once again shows how he needs a summer to get it changed, regardless of next week. My concern is he is still giving too much faith in some of these guys.

Allan

The real issue is we do not convert our chances and we continue to have mental breakdowns that lead to us conceding from essentially only one or two opposition chances. Our opposition's goals-to-chances ratio must be one of the worst in football.

Darren Stewart

"Couldn't finish a Freddo" is the only thing to raise a smile after watching that shambles, so thanks for that.

Alastair McGeoch

This result just confirms what we’ve known for two seasons now; this squad don’t have the mentality to win trophies. Too many shite it when the pressure is on and aren’t capable of standing up to it and getting results. It’s likely we will lose the semi and that they will do yet another treble. Massive summer for Beale, if he sticks with the majority of this squad (which his recent comments seem to indicate) he won’t last long next season. It really depends on finances available but they have to be used on players who make an impact on our first 11.

CGG

The keeper and the four in front of him can’t defend, and I include Goldson , the goals we lose are shocking, don’t give a shit about stats, not one of them is a defender

Tamus

I wish he (Beale) would STFU - His voice and hollow sound bites are getting on my tits. His team selections, game management and subs are woeful.

Gordon Smith

Back in 1994 I pissed myself laughing when they won the cup and celebrated like it was the champions league. With a tour of east end pubs on the way back from Hampden. They knew that they couldn’t match us in the league so the cup was their neder. It is hart-breaking that that is now our level. A failure to gut out this team will have serious consequences for the manager and board.

ian laird

The only guy in that squad i would be confident to score Sakalas chance 9 out of 10 times is Arfield…….quite damning for our forward line.

George Harrison

Completely agree, Goldson gets better every time he doesn’t play ! Our captain and vice captain are also the worst for finger pointing … always want to blame someone else when they screw up, like Tav yesterday after his countless misplaced passes. Take responsibility !

Colin Greig

Listen, I know everybody is frustrated and yesterday wasn't great, especially in the second half. Regardless of what happens next week we must allow him to rebuild this squad. He's only brought two new players in so far and I think everyone has been impressed with them so far. We have to assume he's looking to add 4 of 5 of a similar or maybe better quality. I believe this team can do it on Sunday as tough as its going to be. As I said, regardless of the result Beale knows what needs to be done in my opinion and we will start to see huge improvement
