Im fed up listening to Mick Beale's sound bites already, he was brought in to close the Gap, (it's widened) . And to win the cup/s, his shitebaggery cost us the LCF with his team selection, and he cost us a win vs the Tims at home with his ludicrous Sands substitution to see the game out, (no laughing at the back) . His treatment and usage of Arfield vs the SSB yesterday was ridiculous. And keeping Sakala on for 88mins was utterly baffling. Please talk less Michael and win more.... On a positive note, it was nice to hear the Jam

Beale’s comment “one or two might have been caught up in the atmosphere here”…..why?? Unacceptable. They will play in louder, play in more raucous environments than Pittodrie FFS. Didnt understand that comment one bit.

Paul

If Beale is truly that disconnected from how the fans feel about the team, it raises red flags for me. Won't miss Kent, his numbers are awful.

KennyY

The nonsense from our fans with Beale must go is very shortsighted. What the hell are they expecting from this team. He has done well with the squad he inherited and hasn’t had a chance to build his own squad. He doesn’t have a magic wand. This shitshow won’t be sorted in 1 window and we must now clear out all the dead wood and let Mick bring in his own people. Ross Wilson has brought this situation about with so many really bad signings. Stevie Clifford was bang on with his thoughts on Ben Davies. Souttar and Goodson in defence for next Sunday.

See from a defensive point of view, I find it utterly perplexing how Goldson still has so many detractors out there. I'm not saying he is perfect, but this season has laid bare how much of a shambles we are without him in the back line. 7 goals conceded in 3 games domestically is appalling statistics for a Rangers team. It's reminiscent of Warburton almost. That injury Goldson suffered against Liverpool earlier in the season knackered our league form for about a month leading up to the World Cup, which is why the league was a busted flush by the time we appointed Beale.

Doug Young

I appreciate there's not a lot Beale can say after that kind of shitshow. But.. well, he just says it anyway. I am starting to wish he'd haud his wheesht a bit more, to be honest. More jibber-jabber = more sticks to beat him and the club with by the rest of the country's knuckle-draggers.

Jamie Gilchrist

Not suggesting in the slightest that he should go. I expressed confusion in the comment he made and disappointment in the players if its true.

David Campbell

I think the manager needs more time but we ain't silly he's under extreme pressure. He needs the summer now. I fear the damage done over the next 5 weeks could be fatal for him..

Rona Bluebell

Thank you for not playing Beat Surrender.

Tom

Poor Martyn having to do the Flagship this evening!😂

Andrew Stewart

You summed it up pretty well David. Its sad but I hope the Kent rumours are true as this team needs gutted root and stem. I think Bornas time is up too. Lundstrum and Sakala can be decent squad players but having those guys in the starting 11 next season is a scary thought

Russ

Still convinced that it's more of a mentality issue with these players rather than quality, relative to our opposition I mean. Idc what anyone says, we're good enough to beat Celtic on any given day and we should still smash Aberdeen away. Never mind mentality monsters, we've got a bunch of mentality midgets.

Regarding the current group of players who have been with us since Gerrard, I genuinely find it very tough to look back upon them with much fondness. This may be controversial but for me, the core group of Goldson, Tav, Borna, Jack, Kent, Morelos etc have been perennial losers for us. One trophy in nine under Gerrard, some calamitous cup exits, missing an open goal for a treble in the 55 season and two utterly awful league campaigns thereafter. I felt indifferent towards the Beale appointment at the time but have now come to the conclusion after 6 months (fair amount of time) that I would sack him if we don’t win on Sunday (I appreciate he won’t be sacked but it’s just how I feel). The performances simply haven’t improved since Gio. We can all admit that the standard of 10 teams in the top flight is utter garbage so the fact we toil and struggle genuinely most weeks is so peculiar. Appreciate this sounds negative so let’s just hope he gets the players in early in June and gets off to a flyer in August!

Rona Bluebell

I do somewhat agree but he was there for Hibs 3-0 last year and rolled over far too easy. To give up at halftime was … not good. He’s part of a wider malaise of not being bad but nor quite good enough.

Douglas Morrison

You just wish Defoe had been 32/33 when we got him.

Alan Cowan

Gez , Scott Wright has passed a fitness test. How depressing, the thought of him in the squad is deflating at best

Colin Mathie

He needs a win next Sunday, its that simple.

Graham Jones

We don’t have winners in this team, it’s as simple as that. Too many are just contented to be making a living, which is nice for them but no use to us. This is Rangers FFS. And no, we aren’t getting rid of a good manager for the sake of it. He’s been brought in to do a rebuilding job, so anyone thinking of starting a campaign to remove him need to take a good look at themselves. I don’t see anyone I rate at central defence except for Goldson, so that has to be prioritised in the summer as well. King will come good, but he’s learning his trade still. Should never have been thrown into those Champions League games when he was. Basically every area of the side needs rebuilding. Beale is doing the right thing meeting players head on before pursuing. He has to make sure the mentality is there from the start, because that has been overlooked too often.

Rod

It's strange plod have a problem with a title decider now when they were fine with it in 2012.
