This season was cursed from the outset by the decisions taken last season. The fact that we ended the match with no No.9 while searching for an equaliser just sums up the mess. A match we should have won if only we had one competent forward.

This sums up exactly how I feel. My only fear is that Beale seems to like Kent and may yet allocate 40k a week to him. Based on his total lack of big game contribution it would be a travesty and would ultimately cost him his job so if he keeps Kent he only has himself to blame.

The shambolic goal we concede yet again. The big thing for me today was the tactics and players deployed especially in 1st half. The tactics suited that lot to a tee no pace up top to lead the press and that for me allowed them time on the ball to move up pitch. Also in 1st half why did we continue with the goalkick pass to 1 defender to pass back to gk to pass to other defender to go long and then lose possesion if we can notice it from stands why did players not relies it wasnt working or the manager not relies it wasnt working. For me today showed beale relies on team that won 55 instead of putting his on stamp on it i for one would have started matondo today i get that a lot of fans would not but in past few sub outings he has shown more than kent in 99.9% of season and as for kent today was an embaressment you can tell that guy is checked out. I just hope beale is man to transform us but i get the feeling he isnt and that is my worry. I get he has not had time to put his full stamp on squad but people need to relies his record before he came to us in last 7 or 8 games at qpr he had only won 2 games and yet we are expected to think that is good enough to be our manager. I 1000% hope this time next season i am wrong and beale is the man to take us to the success we all want and if he is i will be 1st to admit i am wrong.

When Beale came in many of us said his targets are to close the gap in the league and win both of the cups or at least one of them. He’s failed. I’ve not seen enough to think he’s the right man going forward - failed most of the big decisions and hasn’t really ‘fired’ the team up. We’re stuck with him of course but I’m not optimistic for the future.

Today is simple really a team of serial losers giving away a goal as per usual Vs that lot and not having enough composure and quality to take advantage when we are in top of the game. Story of this team and story of the season! Today we lose a game thats 55-45 in our favour. Until there is mass change it will continue. If we go into next season with anymore that 4-5 of those players in the starting 11 Beale will be gone by Xmas.

Beale is under huge pressure already, you can already sense the knives sharpening. Lose to them at Ibrox and make it 4 OF defeats in a row and people will be calling for him to be replaced. As has been said on here a lot, the "give him until after the summer" schtik doesn't wash at Rangers and Rangers managers don't survive losing 4 on the spin to celtic. Hopefully we can win and settle people down heading into the summer rebuild but lose and his peg is shoogly.

Kent-shouldn’t be seen in a Rangers jersey again, Sakala - he’s been here for two seasons and doesn’t seem to be coachable as evidenced by his miss, needs moved on. We controlled the second half yet didn’t create a clear cut chance. Joe Hart is a bomb scare in pressure situations and he’s strolled every old firm game he’s played because we haven’t been able to lay a glove on them

It's a major reboot of the squad in the summer. Very reminiscent of the Advocaat summer. 15 players out the door maybe 10 in. The team is on fumes at the minute. Wilson and the Board should have never let the squad get into this shape. Gerrard should have been told at the time that player(s) needed to move to allow the squad to move up to the next level. I think the board were in awe of Gerrard to make the necessary decisions. We've squeezed everything out of the guys who won 55, the Scottish Cup and got to the Europa League final. Time for a new chapter.

Beale has said the decisions have been made in house on players futures, if that’s the case tell them all to take an early holiday and sort out their next clubs. We don’t need to see them anymore

A win at Ibrox in a few weeks means nothing TBH. The sort of meaningless end of season win Celtic used to delude themselves with in the early 90's whilst our lot were half cut from celebrating winning trophies. Rightly or wrongly, Beale will be judged on the fact he has failed 4 times out of 4 in important matches against them. I think he's got very little wrong in the last two and was undone by basic errors by his players but his decision making in the first two has ultimately put him on the back foot now. Easy to say he deserves time but we all know it doesn't work that way around here. He needs to hit the ground running next season. There is no other option for him now

I didn't expect to win but I did expect more than repetitive patterns of play that frequently broke down with aimless, looping crosses into the box. At one point we seemed to be playing long balls to Matondo! I want to be positive but there's little evidence to inspire so far under Beale. He will get the summer but needs an unlikely success rate for his next 5 - 10 signings. Either that or a complete implosion on the other side of the city.

Do you trust beale to take us forward to what we all want and demand of our club and that is trophys especially league titles. So far for me since he has came in many a game his selections have baffled fans his lack of changes when it looks like its required have baffled a lot of fans. I get this team have lost confidence but he has had enough time on training pitch and enough time being in and around them to rebuild the confidence and apart from 2 games in the capital we have been bang average at best.

An ignominious ending to Kent's and Morelos's careers at Rangers. Both will probably get decent money from their next moves but unless both buck up their idea's then I can see them floating around the lower leagues on loan deals within 6 months - Kent in England and Morelos in Europe. Cantwell and Lundsrum didn't deserve to be on a losing side today.Controlled 2 thirds of the pitch today but yet again the final third is where we were lacking again.Kent should be hunted along with Morelos after that inept shitebag performance. Give Beale 2 Windows to get in his players and see where we are.Made them look ordinary at times today but yet again they are more ruthless in front of goal.

I agree to a degree John. I actually felt there were some excellent crosses thrown in to the box. The problem all season has been we haven’t had a centre forward who attacks them. Hateley and McCoist would score a barrow load with the crosses that go across the box week in week out.

I’m tired of Beale’s excuses about summer rebuild and individual mistakes. That’s the third OF in a row and his changes did nothing. At the moment the only credit he has is that he used to work under Gerrard, nothing else. If his magical rebuild doesn’t hit the ground running, he’s out by November, just like Pedro. P.S. I know lots of bears here are unhappy with Kent and Morelos, however I’d just say one thing - if anyone honestly believes that Sakala/Matondo/Colak/Wright are fit to lace their boots, you should make an appointment with your doctor fast.

All these people saying we need to have faith in Beale. Based on what? He's a rookie manager that we've taken yet another punt on and these appointments rarely work out, especially when the money to back him isn't there it appears. It all seems to be based on blind faith and hope as I've seen very little to indicate he's the man to lead us to success. We should be beating the likes of Hibs, Hearts, St Mirren etc, but he's failed every big test so far and he's very much under increasing pressure now. I hope I'm wrong but unless we start next season on the front foot and build up some kind of lead we all know where it's going to end. I'm scunnered after that today. I know I shouldn't be surprised, given our defensive blunders of the last 2 seasons, but that goal is up there with the opening goal of the 2016 Scottish Cup Final as one of the worst I've seen us concede in a big game. This is another rebuild like 2018 which should of never of happened. Mismanagement of the squad by Wilson. Not strengthening the squad after 55 and selling Morelos and Kent massive mistake and it bit us on the arse. I would only keep 2 players from the starting line up Cantwell and Raskin. The rest I wouldn't lose any sleep over if and when they move on. I am done with 99 percent of this squad and I will be done with the manager if he relies on a core of this squad next season

Have the post-game press conference videos been delayed for some reason? I'm not finding anything from Rangers, on YT, or from RR. Stevie Clifford mentioned on RR he'd pressed MB on the squad makeup for next season. All I keep seeing in my YT feed is that lots interviews. Kent and Morelos should not play again. Ridvan, Hagi, Matondo, Devine, Lovelace, Wright. Colin, to question if Kent is injured, not match fit or anything else suggests he’s usually pretty good. What we got today is the standard for Ryan Kent. In his own head he thinks he’s a baller - he isn’t - end of conversation. I can count on one hand the number of games in his Rangers career where he can be considered as out MOTM. Doesn’t have, never had the mindset needed to be a Rangers player. BTW I love you as a H&H podder.

The whole team is constructed arse over tit. We have a full back who is our top scorer and most potent attacking threat, but in defence couldnt keep weens oot a close and we have forwards that couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo. Before Raskin and Cantwell we had midfielders who couldnt run or tackle … and we still have a goalkeeper who cant come for crosses and cant even command his own six yard box nevermind the penalty area. We have the wrong people in place all over the park and our greatest asset - Tav and his 100 goals - actually represents our biggest, most strategic failing.

Thanks guys for even doing this pod as most of us just wanted to hide away somewhere...my mofm was the fans and you who were at Hampden...loyal to the end to parts of a team that dont deserve their loyalty...I for one when I go back to Ibrox would rather see some of the b team out there..I dont want to see Morelos or Kent anymore in a Rangers Shirt..as for their contract is up at the end of the season so their heart is not in it anymore..absolute rubbish they are professional players and should play to their best to the end...just hope their future clubs are watching them.

Bad news, guys, next season will be more than a transitional season. Expect many transitional seasons, Fans will panic when we sign players that instantly don't meet the fans lofty expectations. The board will then sack Beale, we will hear the old "not good enough for Rangers," "fans deserve better," and we will be back here again next season having made no progress What boils my piss is we had done it, I couldn't see how we could catch Celtic, we were so far behind and then Stevie G and Mark Allen briefly swung the power to us, but instead of selling our best assets for vast sums when we could (morelos, kent) and reinvesting that money in quality what did we do? What a mess!! Some fans need to wake up a little bit we have so many shirts to fill, we can't jist bin everyone

It’s not like he could make changes in attack only? Five at the back, flood the midfield, do a Walter with 9 defenders? I’m not saying I know better what he should have done, I’m saying he did nothing and lost three key OF in a row. The only things we heard after were summer rebuild and individual mistakes. P.S. My point about Kent and Alfie isn’t one that they should stay, but the one that they should be last to go as alternatives are not Rangers footballers

Goldson and Tav getting a pass when discussing the moving on of players is so frustrating. Goldson is 2 trophies in 16 by my count. It's ridiculous that he is seen as a leader or some sort of standard setter. Both consistently make trophy defining mistakes, Greg Taylor is nowhere near the wing back that Tav is but has 5 trophies because he can defend. It's time and until they go, nothing will change.

Totally agree. They get passea because they seem better than what is around them, but they are bang average. If it were me, I'd put Devine at RB and play Tav in that "problem" right wing position. Take away his weakness- defending.

In the cold light of day, the big difference between us and them is in their team each player takes responsibility for their position/role in the team. Ours? Too often leaving it to another team mate to take responsibility either in defending or taking a shot/creating a chance. The goal we lost yesterday was indicative of that. 6-7 players all looking to the other to take responsibility for defending. Tav at the back post is criminal. As soon as the maeda has the ball he should be taking control of the back post but doesn’t.

Slippy slope is we start putting faith in players like Matondo for next season. If there is a player there hopefully another club will take a chance and take him away.

It's not talent to stand on the ball at a free kick or constantly inform the ref the ball is in the wrong place, or Taylor to steel yards, to Joe Hart scream for decesions regardless, that is intensity and desire to do what is required to win with a clear all round game plan. I will not argue Jota, Kyogo, Carter Vickers and McGregor are step above the rest on the pitch but our game management remains as bad as you will see and Beale can go on about a clear out but unless we have players and a management team willing to round their strategy we have no hope. There is a gap in talent but a gulf in strategy. Should be banging down the door of Kevin Thomson to work on that side of our game.

He’s not new to the league, the club or the squad as he was part of the team that brought them and he routinely defends them. He won’t last long if he doesn’t wake up and show something, for me the difference between him and Gio amounts to less injuries and a few players picking up slightly. Be interested to see the goals scored / conceded comparisons

We seem to absolve the coaching team of actually coaching players these days, we can’t buy from the top leagues, we don’t have the money for star players so the key is development, playing a winning style with who we have available and being willing to build. There is very little different between Gio and Beale bar more of this squad are Beales boys as far as I can see. The. You have the executive lack of direction on top of that…
