Due to the nature (and the fact we've played them 5 times already) of this weekend's fixture against Celtic, the Preview show is looking for your questions for a Q&A.

Please submit your questions in the thread and we will get through as many as we can before recording on Thursday evening.

What players of theirs do you think are at peak value and they can sell in the summer with least impact to how they play?

Does Michael Beale’s comments rule Morelos out from starting Vs them? If so how should he set up the team to ensure we can get forward and pose a threat in his absence?

Should Kent be given one last chance to leave on a high as he won't be up against Johnston but fat Ralston? Plus, Carthorse-Vickers won't be there to cover for Johnston. That side of their defence will be their weakest area.

Will the team step up and show no respect to them at home? Tavernier needs to get the motivated as sometimes he seems to focus on his role rather than get on to team mates.

Considering Tav is arguably our biggest threat but he's a dreadful defender, should we play Devine at RB and give Tav the freedom of the right-wing?

The other mob have shown you don’t need tackling or defensive midfielders. You need energy and players who can pass effectively and cover box to box. We need to get away with the obsession about having ‘defensive’ midfielders - especially in our league. In Europe a change of shape / tactics will counter any weakness - discuss.

On the scale of 1 to 10, how big of a mess has Ross Wilson ultimately made? Obviously remembering his past claims and explanations about squad building and succession planning etc. I believe he once said that we wouldn't find ourselves in the position of needing a full rebuild. Oh how things change.

As a club we love sentimentality and nostalgia. Especially the 90s. Do you feel this coming summer could see a big change not just in the fans attitude but the higher ups attitudes towards really moving forward as a club?

At our press conferences when asked about the opposition you will hear the manager and player say "we just need to concentrate on ourselves" or "we need to play our own game". I've never taken that literally but it is a fine line between concentrating on our own play and neglecting the opposition or then concentrating to much on the opposition and neglecting our own play. So the question is what does Beale need to do to find that balance that gets us the result on Saturday?

The starting line up and use of subs at the weekend must have felt like a kick in the teeth to the young players at Rangers. Just why do we have a reluctance to give youth a chance? I refuse to believe we couldn't have a youth player at home at Ibrox against 10 men behind the ball! However, I have heard numerous people refer to 25-year-old Robby Mccrorie as a young player!

Alex Lowrie - where is the evidence at the senior level to warrant the clamor to have him play before Hagi. Hagi needs the minutes to see if he is going to be part of the squad going forward. Yes, we know what Hagi was like before his injury but it is the post injured Hagi that needs to be evaluated.

How much of an impact do you feel it’s had having star players run down their contracts and the effect it has on those players and the ‘Squad building’ were all invested in? Every game this season (Kent and Alfie) and last year (Goldson) people say should’ve been sold, would you keep them etc. in my opinion this can’t ever happen again. It brings a big black cloud over the team and individual performances. You guys do a great job, thanks for all the previews this season 👍

who should go in the summer? Here's my take on it. McGregor - thanks for your service McLaughlin - can’t be trusted Head gone Helander - can’t depend on him and out of contract Barasic - Heart of a mouse but 7/10 for most of this season Davis - Age caught up Arfield - Age caught up Kamara - Loser get rid Morelos - Chucked it get him to Fk Kent - needs a new challenge - head turned not interested Wright - not good enough Lundstram - don’t think Beale fancies him and he knows it Matondo - get rid if we can though we haven’t seen much of him - could be worth a punt - either or him and Wright The jury is out in the following Davies - like him but not enough bite Roofe - but nobody will take him with his injury record so we could be stuck with him Hagi - maybe has a chance but unlikely to get a regular start Lowry - needs high level game time King- loan out Devine - loan out Tillman? - can’t decide on him. He needs to realize he can’t stand and wait for the ball to come to him against better teams

We all know of the player turnover that's predicted, but Beale has talked about how he will be changing playing style and working on new things during pre-season, what do you think these will be? Formation, fitness, versatility, intensity, all the above? Also, if we have McCrorie as number 1 next season, I'm not against it, who do you bring in as a number two? Another young player or someone near then end of their career?

McCrorie has to play. My opinion of Beale changes significantly if he goes back to the starting 11 that has consistently failed this season. We need to prepare McCrorie, Yilmaz and Matondo for next season.

When looking at current players and whether keep or sell, should we pay particular attention to how they perform against Celtic? For example, I've been a big supporter of us getting Tillman but he never performs against Celtic. Much happier seeing an Arfield take the pitch, someone who give everything and has Rangers attitude.

Play wright through the middle on Saturday with matondo and sakala on the flanks, we have nothing to lose and if we want to sell him this summer let’s put him in the shop window. Morelos shouldn’t even be near the bench given beales comments about him.

Due to the constant financial gap between us and them, and looking back at titles won since year 2000, do you think this is it for us for the foreseeable? 2nd best? I shudder to think but looking at the spending power and the undeniable trend of trophies they've won, are we going to go into most seasons as underdogs because if so the future looks bleak? On our supporters bus all I’ve heard recently is we need to give arfield another season …I rose to the bait on Sunday and said on the back of what ??? Love Tavernier in terms of his consistent performances but just wondering the lads views on if we think a change of captaincy could be warranted for next season? due to the break up of the vast majority of the squad, the lack of winning mentality and overall trophy count in Tav's time as Captain?

Is it too simplistic to say that signing the right level of striker (more than 1) in the summer solves a lot of our on field problems. Whilst lots of areas need addressing I’d argue that unless the CF is of suitable quality then improvements in other areas will be in vein and conversely if we nail the new GK, CB, CM, RW etc but fail to add what we need up top we’ll still not be good enough to win the league back from them.

Are we really that far behind? An in form striker and cutting out the brain farts win us the last 2 and arguably the new year game. Potentially even a decent mobile keeper would have solved some of those? Am I the only one that thinks we ( the fanbase) over react when the margins are so fine? Enjoyed the sliding doors last week. At the new year game, we were winning & changes were made that obviously did not help, The medial condition of the team did not need the recurring tension of change, Is the situation going to continue or will we bring in 90min players at Scottish game level? Having so many injured players, is it the players [we have limits on our shirts lol, overplaying themselves ]or the tactics used to attain results, is our problem being Rangers that there is a history associated with us regarding injuries,like season long ect

Was just thinking the same today Marc. We have so much loyalty to those who frankly don’t deserve it. Let’s be loyal to delivering a successful, dominant rangers. Something that’s let’s be honest, we haven’t seen in a generation. Ruthlessness from the top down at the club, needs to be year on year . We can’t be content with the odd title.

John Bennett mentioned a couple of years ago, the club is moving from a recovery phase to growth phase. Has the problem in the last couple of years been we’ve had too many recovery executives in control of the club, when we’ve needed fresh blood that stops looking back on where we’ve come from since 2012?

There's no point in lamenting on the past and what has been this season. We have to be aware of the past, but look ahead. Can Tav actually play in midfield? While it would be ideal to move Scott Wright on, is this financially, or home grown rule for Europe likely? Can he be converted to a right fullback? If we were to draw up a top XI from the rest of the SPFL are there any players we could use and would want?

Do you fear a sizeable section turning on Beale or at the very least having theirs fingers on the trigger going in to next season if we lose on Saturday? I already feel like there's a decent portion who already aren't convinced. (I'm willing to back Beale fully however I have definitely picked up this vibe around the stadium and online)

In the four old firm games since Beale came in, our aggregate XG has been (slightly) higher than theirs. Our aggregate in those games is -3 and we've missed two open goals, had a perfectly good goal chalked off and shipped three genuine clangers (not counting the mandatory goals conceded from low crosses coming in from the full back areas) Is there enough evidence there to suggest that Beale is mostly getting it right and, with sensible recruitment and maybe even just a little bit of luck regressing to the mean, results will follow?

Our huge rebuild in the summer is inevitable and hopefully most of the players settle quickly and make an impact however every signing poses risk and some won’t work. Sadly I think immediate success may only be achieved if ange leaves them in the summer

Similarly, what do we need going forward, whether it's particular transfer targets or types of players we're missing? What style of play and system should we adopt? They have been successful with a very attacking, relentless style – should we look to emulate that or take a different approach?

Given our defensive frailties on the RHS is it worth trying Tav in midfield and Devine at RB ? We have a lack of proven goal scorers , three/ four forwards that we can’t rely on and he is better going forward than defending and he can score goals . Right side of our midfield has been a problem area for us for a while . A fit and young Scott Arfield would have been ideal but against better teams we need to defend better and teams do target our RHS.

We looked to be passing between the lines quicker against aberdeen for periods of the game. Do you think the limited front three will have it in them to keep up the right movement and do you think the midfield will be able to play those passes quicker in the pressure of an OF fixture. Or is there a danger we revert to the horseshoe? Does that have an impact in our chances?

Hagi or Tillman? In my opinion we cannot afford to have two similar players in our squad. Both young, potential to get better and possibly sell for a profit later. However given our financial constraints which one should we keep. Or can we really afford to have both?!

I support Beale and believe that he has narrowed the gap between ourselves and Celtic since he became manager. I'm confident that he'll be a success. However, his record currently shows one draw and three defeats from four games against them. I'm approaching these questions with caution. Has there ever been a Rangers manager who failed to win five Old Firms in a row? Which manager holds the longest streak of failing to win Old Firm matches? Is there an upper limit of Old Firm games can Beale go without a win before it becomes untenable?

Cantwell in the space of a few short months has showed the main components that we've been sadly lacking this season. His energy & enthusiasm and his total disdain towards opposition players is a must for the rest of the squad. Do u think his constant movement off the ball along with him always demanding the ball has only highlighted how much our players have been hiding this season?

I’m not definitive that GVB should have stayed as he got plenty wrong. I just think that decision let others off the hook and allowed them to underperform for the best part of another 6 months A better run Rangers gets Kamara out the door last summer and Raskin in A better run Rangers also moves on Kent who like most checked out the instant we exited to Malmo - SG gets a lot of blame for that btw. We were top of the league because Celtic were getting their shit together & too many players only showed enthusiasm latterly in Europe Importantly a better run Rangers make more noise about the achievement of making the CL group stages but temper the expectations of fans by making clear this season has to have a transitional feel as we bed in new players. I know nobody wants to hear that sort of thing but it’s the job of the CEO to be strong on that sort of messaging and would have helped ensure Gio carried the can for tactics etc not recruitment

Whilst it's clear that we need to start with the spine of the team, are we better getting a bosman GK like Butland in and being able to buy a 25 goal CF? You beat me to it, as I’m thinking this is the time to try and play the 352 / 343 with the players available. The issue is the striker or false nine as I can’t think of one player who is trust to play it. Do we think three at the back would stop ‘that’ goal being scored?
