The homegrown issue is an interesting one. I think there are ways we can improve here without being held to ransom. Example. John fleck ad a midfield option. Sell Lundstram. Sell Kamara. Raskin, cifuentes, fleck, jack, dowell, cantwell as potential modified options next year. Supplemented by Bailey rice from the b team. Any other out of contract players that we could realistically get to fill homegrown slots?

I feel the same about Jack this season that I felt about Arfield last season. It's time to move on. People will post the 'knows what it's all about' nonsense and gloss over his horrendous injury record and the fact he's made 3 major errors in the last 3 league games against them - two of which have resulted in us conceding crucial goals and one which required McCrorie to bail him out.

We do need to get away from sentimentality Colin, but you're right. It's Steven Davis. A great idea that's hard to follow thru on. Hopefully a different role for Davis at Rangers but whether he is staying in any capacity or not we should be giving him every opportunity to get himself fit and ready to play for someone if that's what he wants. Cifuentes is exciting. Of course I know absolutely nothing about him which only makes it even more exciting.

I know what I’m going to get from Ryan Jack as I’ve kept an eye on his style of play, that is when he’s not injured. He generally is a sideways back passing player who gives opposition players plenty of time to park the bus. I would have preferred to say thanks and good bye, he’s past his best. If it was between him and Arfield to me it could only be Arfield.

We shouldn't be signing scottish players unless they are as good as or better than what we have, for the sake of a quota for 10-15 games a season. You can have a squad of 17 without any Scots, so if you add jack, souttar, mccrorie, king and lowry, at worst we'd have a squad of 23, plus players like rice from B team.
