Mark Warburton had won his only old firm match - albeit after a shoot-out in the previous seasons' cup semi-final. However, the much anticipated first league derby match since 2012 would end in total disaster for Rangers as Brendan Rodgers side would expose the huge gaps in a team consisting of 2nd tier players and journeyman pros.

it was constant, more of a promise than a performance always, not just against them,put on a fool's cap with a bell to it, my area is full of tims,their shouting & having banging neighbors, still is,having to put up with their euro football, being threatened even though they were displaying on the pitch,lol, live where the fat greek has moved [will not go into the politics of this move] to, had a false reality even knowing our team was not up to scratch, but feel we have turned a corner,trying to move home too, 55 was marvelous,lol

I remember this game very well - my wife was pregnant with our twins and this was 3 days before their birthday. Probably heard their Dad’s language from the woomb! A really tough season all round I think, but certainly at the time I was generally hopeful, and I think Warburton at least did his part in getting us out the Championship. Great pod gents, glad to see the back of those days

Far to open a starting lineup for any Rangers team at parkhead never mind 1 thats just been promoted. Then Warburton absolutely capitulated even more.
