Right, Windass just bagged. Looked good today. Attitude issues seemingly gone. Should we? He'd be cheap as chips.

Scored more goals than Roofe has in a season. And more than Buff more often than not. He'd do for me.

He left to join Wigan. Actively picked Wigan over Ibrox and has since admitted he regrets it. He had a chance to stay and fight for us, but thought he was above us. Missed out on all that European Football and eventual title win because of his own misplaced arrogance. For me, he doesn't get to swan back up here and act like billy big baws again. Had his chance and pissed it away.

Season highlights were the comeback against USG & that phenomenal win in PSV. We looked a right good side that night .. it all went to shit after that.

Soutar has surprised me just how good he is. I didn’t notice much about him before, so it’s been a bit of an eye opener. Where they need to help him with is his overall fitness. That will come though with a hard pre-season. Remembering what our fitness regime was like when Beale coached here before, they will be taking the players back to those levels again, and I suspect we wont recognise some of them once they’ve went through this pre-season. I think we need to take a pause on who we think is leaving and staying for the moment. What we need to do is ensure we have the squad built for the Champions League qualifiers. That is our sole priority at the moment. We need the money and we need the prestige to offer some players Champions League football. Watch and see who Arsenal, Man Utd and Newcastle will be able to attract this season because of it. We aren;t in that market, but we will get a boost in who we may persuade to come to us for a season.

What is with the obsession from sections of the Rangers fanbase with constantly looking to bring back old players?

Drop-down from Champions League group stage into Europa League by finishing third is in many ways the ideal scenario. However, it's only going to be possible for one more season, due to the abomination 'Swiss' model that UEFA is instituting from 2024/25.

Good listen as usual - problem with us as a support giving new arrivals time to bed in and find there feet is that we cannot afford that luxury the rest of the league teams outwith them is absolute garbage opportunities to make up points will again be few and far between on top of early games needing results to get us in to the CL
