My hope is that Flange leaves behind a number of Japanese players that signed for them to play for him and they become unsettled. My worry is that they end up with a better manager and Flange goes back for some of these players and throws big money at them. Regardless that's nothing to with us, we need to get it right ourselves and play the cards as they're dealt.

£6M for a guy who turns 29 in December would be a no for me. Looks a good player but if we are spending that sort of money on someone there needs to be significant sell on potential imo. Although I guess if he comes in and scores 50 goals in the next 2 seasons and we win a few trophies no one will really care about that.

You are right David, we should have seen him off and this was totally our fault. However, with Spurs Postecoglu will not have the English FA bending over for his club, nor will he have the EPL similarly being a fawning slave towards his club. In fact, the referees in the premiership will, I assume show no favour week in week out to his club. And finally, he will have no fawning press, providing prearranged questions. Still good luck to him, he may need more of it down South.

Honsetly lads god hel us if we're aiming for Dessers i saw him over 2 yr eriod at feyenoord he's stinkin man! I don’t think we’ll know if Postecoglu leaving is a bonus or not until we know who’s replacing at him - if it’s Rodgers or Moyes we’d be clutching at straws to make the case that they’d be significantly weaker. As you say David we need to get our own shit together rather than worrying about them
