Thanks again David glad have you back 😀

Alan Spiden

I think Jacobs will be a cracker of an appointment…

Stewart Campbell

Could they have the screens elsewhere? Hanging from the roof maybe. I think we do need screens somewhere.

Scott Duncan

What an awesome version of a great tune! Welcome back David.

Alistair Simpson

What a cracking idea for the shirt sale event 👏

Gregg

As someone who sits in the second last row of the club deck - I’d be interested to see how we are supposed to see if they lowered the pitch

Gregg

Might also be screwed with the name spelling wotsit 😂

Graham McCallum

Great song choice as usual David. I saw the James orchestral tour in Birmingham one of the best live performances I’ve seen in recent years. Great news about the Zeb Jacobs appointment I live in eternal hope this is the start of a Rangers revolution under the newly formed board

Stuart Borland

I expect a full show of the Floyd exhibition in YYZ david

Benjamin McGlinchey

Thanks for reading out the email, David. Let’s make the shirt sale event happen!

Sam Howie

Like the idea of the retro sale got a lot of shirts to sell and match programmes from over the years running out of space to store them.

Mark Harvey

The car boot sale idea is brilliant. As for a venue... If only there was somewhere close to the stadium, at ground level, with a bar, lots of space for tables and good toilet facilities 🤔🤔

Bob MacCallum

Retro Gers sale is a brilliant idea. NEH as the venue? Overlord, make it happen please.

Greig Neilson

I like the car boot sale idea, I have loads of stuff I could shift. Louden Tavern beer garden where people can walk in and out?

Ryan Stewart

David, do you know if it makes any difference to the money the club receives if you order through Castore v The Rangers Store? I’ve started ordering all my kits through the Castore website as I’ve generally found the delivery times/customer service from the Rangers Store to be pretty awful tbh All my orders through Castore have been fulfilled within 3 days and you generally get free Royal Mail delivery. The Rangers Store charge you £5.50 and it’s sent with Hermes and can take weeks to appear, if at all. It’s also impossible to get a human response when you email them

I'm a bit concerned that our transfer business is so public at the minute. Only a few season ago we knew nothing until they signed for the club. We risk losing out on a target to someone like Celtic if we continue this way. Last season Beale was very open in press conferences.

Drew Hyslop

We are actually interested in Cresswell in the January transfer window of 22 but the board wouldn't sanction the transfer fee, then wouldn't even agree to his wages for a loan. I'm pretty sure it Jamie Shackleton was another one. Ross Wilson told the agent his hand were tied. Couldn't do anything. Board wouldn't release the money.

David

The TVs are ancient now and terrible quality. The sooner they are down the better. A bank loan would fund it and you pay it back over a few years by ring fencing the money taken by the new season tickets the corners would fill. Make it happen Rangers.

Alan McQueen

The Rangers memorabilia car boot sale is a great idea! I’d be up for that immensely. I’m currently looking for the Rangers adidas away 1992/93 top (L or XL) if anyone knows of one? Thanks.

Andrew Hillis

Fantastic to have you back David! What a tune - met my wife in 1990 dancing to that very classic! I know you do get less time for murder! 🤣🤣💙💙

Andrew Hillis

Not a big fan of white tops - hope there are another 2 Orange and Blackout options on the way! 👍👍

ANDREW CUNNINGHAM

And Davie you forgot the usual about this time the nights are fair drawin I

Heart and Hand

Absolutely raging with myself about this, got pulled up by a pal for not posting it on Facebook this year too 😀

I have no idea why we still persist with those big screens as they are antiquated now. It’s an incredibly old fashioned idea for a screen system. There are other ways to do big screens without sticking jumbos in the corner of the ground where seats could be. The guys said last night that the corners would cost only £3-4m per corner, whereas you had t nearer £25m. I’m a bit confused. I like the retro strip idea, but it could be a football fair at Ibrox, where there is all sorts of memorabilia sold at stalls. However, it’s becoming something of a pattern now from Castore where they seem to reproduce retro designs in our c=urgent strips. It was a nice thing at first, but they need to show something new. I don’t want anything garish like we often see from English clubs, but something solid and new. After all, when the cycling tops come out back in 1987 they were considered new and groundbreaking for football. We need to see a nit of subtle innovation like that again.

Martin Davies

I think the screens will become a thing of the past across all grounds soon. Fans in stadiums should get access to an app which can show replays, stats, etc at their convenience.

Martin Davies

Maybe the lad suggesting the car boot sale has made a monumental error recently and needs to get shot of the leather jacket ASAP!!

Nicky Cuzin

I have to disagree with you about the Academy, David. My opinion is totally the same that it is there to produce players for first team and sell on those, who don’t get there. Your point was that it doesn’t produce apart from Patterson. I would disagree, I believe the likes of Lowry, King, McCrorie, Charlie McCann, Adam Devine, Stephen Kelly could have played a bigger part of the first team if only we had a Manager, who trusts them. We could see with Gio, that he did trust youngsters more than Gerrard or Beale, maybe because he comes from Dutch system where they look more at producing next generation. We saw Lundstram and Sands at centre-back under Beale more than King. Maybe they were better at that moment but my point was trust or lack of it to be accurate. Even when we played Raith and Partick at home he wouldn’t trust youngsters, come on. We can discuss whether he should have, but we definitely can’t blame solely the Academy on that

David Baillie

Great point Graham. Let’s get back to a situation where the first thing we hear about a signing is when they’re holding up a scarf for the press. Loose lips sink ships. Tighten up on the gossip.

Stephen Miller

All for the memorabilia sale, I’d buy a stray dug with a Rangers collar on it
