Football is your dad's team - unless yer Dad's a Tim - then choose Rangers (this is no autobiographical) - just saying

Russ

To be honest if Souttar starts the season on the right side in a back 4 then it isn't clear cut that Goldson just walks back into that slot, he's just as good a passer and from what I've seen early on looks more switched on when defending. Or am I talking sh**e? In a back 3 Goldson would be a shoe in but if Souttar plays well until Goldson gets fit then I think serious questions need to be asked, à la Van Dijk at Liverpool.

It’ll be Goldson and a partner imo - and rightly so

Doug

We could do a little "Former Bears" Tour of the USA. Start with a little warm weather training in LA with our club partners and home of Rob Kiernan, Orange County SC. Then jump back over to the East coast for a game against Matt Polster's New England Revolution before taking on James Sands and New York FC. Finally we pop down south to an emotional reunion with Scotty Arfield and Charlotte FC before heading home for a glamour tie at Ibrox vs Bayern Munich and Malik Tillman 😄 Sorted lol

Aye I think we'd all prefer Goldon RCB and Souttar LCB than Davies on the left as it is, I'd say our next purchase at LCB will be more important than any attacking signing we make.

Can't go along with the follow your dad's team David, my dad follows that ugly mob and he literally had no influence over me 🤣🤣 he also is miffed that I made sure my little brother followed in my footsteps! Just the other day lily (7years old) said papa I still love you even though you support that dirty mob 🤣

Graham Jones

I did wonder why he mentioned this. I just hope this isn’t a way for us to pay off another, where they get a better pay day than normal. It was a huge error of judgement on the boards part, and these things should be broached with the support in future. The game in New York is a great call. Would be a wonderful gesture for the NARSA Bears, and I could see a lot of us travelling over for it.

If Souttar had managed to stay clear of injuries earlier in this career he’d be an EPL centre back by now. If he stays fit this season he could be a massive player for us

David McAllister

With the news that King is injured and being ruled out for a significant period of time, do you think the Balogun rumour is true?

Alan Stewart

On another note. Any plans for a Room 101 pod David Edgar? Not had one for ages , a tremendous pod!

Nice one! I’ve been listening to them on the archives this last week. Absolutely hilarious. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏻👍🏻

Oh defo don't agree with that last bit David. If that were the case my 2 boys would be one of them and I just could not have that.

Ah yes mums who like football take precedence. Two things a boy should love unconditionally: his mum and his football team!
