The draw for the third qualifying round for the Champions League takes place on the 24th of July. Rangers will potentially play 2 of 8 teams to reach the biggest competition in European football, but could dropping to the Europa League be the best long term option? James is joined by Simon to discuss the possible opponents, and what our hopes and expectations are for the qualification stage of this seasons European campaign.

I probably can't get to an away leg in qualifying, but Serbia would be a fun trip and, if Dnipro are playing home games in Kosice, it would be a good jaunt. Also, better that we consistently qualify for Champions League groups then build on that

Definitely Europa League is our level however we need CL money and it's as simple as that. Last year was a freak group so if we qualify a kinder group hopefully gives us a chance of dropping in Europa.
