Great show again Alan and thanks again for the playing the request. Appreciate that sham 69 first thing on a Monday morning may not always be the best but it certainly brightened up my drive to work 😄

Alan Bradley

Ha. Yep probably not the most relaxing song to kick off with, especially after the Led Zep intro Andy. Glad you started the working week with a smile though.

John Cox

They need to go back to the full Tina Turner song before the players enter and not just the chorus. Never knew it was just titled ‘The Best’ !!

Also a great show Alan as always

Thanks for upping your game Alan and playing Sham 69. Since your on a high what about squeezing in some Sisters of Mercy 😁 Was great to watch the clip of the game against Spurs . What a great day sunshine at Ibrox , a phenomenal team we had the best of Scotland and England in our team plus Lineker and Gazza for Tottenham and one of our most iconic strips .

Alan - Listened to this whilst walking about town at lunchtime- brilliant 🤩 The punk music is top notch so now try and squeeze either the exploited or bad religion in…. Although you may have already reached your zenith with SLF✌🏼 as for the 1979 game …Jardine and Cooper get the well deserved plaudits but Alex Miller was for me the man that made things happen - really liked him as a player👍🏻

Great show as ever Alan. I was gutted I didn’t get to the Dryburgh Cup final especially missing Coops iconic goal. We were bailing hay that day as the weather was perfect. It was much later before I actually got to see that goal. Am I right in thinking the game wasn’t covered by either BBC or ITV but was only filmed by a company hired by the sponsors Dryburgh?

Alan Bradley

Same here, can’t remember watching any highlights and definitely wasn’t live. Think that was why I was always going on about Sandy’s goal being a cracker too. Clearly Coop’s was magical and everyone majored on that one. Nice to think you were knocking your pan in and I was singing songs in the Rangers end. 😂

Aye aye. Those football specials could be “entertaining “. Don’t know what would be made of that these days. Great to hear some Van Morrison. Astral Weeks is one of my favourite albums. Rock on. 👍👏

Can’t believe you passed on Jive Bunny Alan
