A victory over Burnley’s academy is an incredibly good sign going forward. Zen Jacobs already making an impact

These have been the way ahead for the Academy all along, until there is an option to have a side in the Scottish Leagues. It’s clear, however, that the Scottish football authorities don’t care or have a clue about what shrew youth development looks like. That’s why we’re light years behind most other countries.

For 2 years it was all about playing matches that matter, against men. Learning the “dark arts”. We seem to have abandoned this because we didn’t get our way. A golden generation of youth has produced nothing for the first team so hopefully the new regime fares better.

I think it was planned that way but to go up the leagues in terms of standards into L2 and L1. But yeah, didn’t pan out. I still like the concept but I’m not a youth football expert. Have to trust them.

I guess it’s not an exact science but we seem to change philosophy regularly. Hopefully Zeb has the answer.

Similar to the B team playing at a higher level, I thought you guys also upped your level to provide an excellent and informative show. No doubt the increase in quality of football you get to watch provides more talking points and allows for better analysis. Excellent show (bar the wind interruptions). Well done both 👏🏻👏🏻

I enjoy listening and getting an insight on the Bteam but more often than not the sound is poor and end up turning it off
