It has been a great summer of ashes cricket, the ball changing was a big thing in this game, looks a bit dodgy to be honest.

Will listen tomorrow when out with the dog(s) as per , but what and great series even Manchester even though I had the aussies to be 2-1 up after 4 tests , also had a sneaky feeling England would bowl the aussies out in that last session at 4/1 ...... certainly reignited my cricketing viewing

I’ll listen later in the car going home but the Rain seemed to come at the right time on Sunday afternoon for England in this test as at last Warner and Kawaja were playing well and then you just knew the break in play would affect the pair of them . Been a brilliant series and prob 2-2 is fair enough result . On to India and see if Bazball works on those wickets

Thanks for doing these pods. Insightful listen. My summary of the ashes 23 England have became the Australia of my youth (all be it abit more attractive to watch) once they smell blood more often than not they get something out the game. 2-2 is a fair outcome probably. Although I think a reserve day should be available if the weather plays apart or if the correct amount of overs aren’t played. Just look at the Australia faces at the end they knew how lucky they were. Stuart Broad what a player. Big moments and that guy just go. Until 24/25.

Really enjoyed listening to these pods. Sadly the next Ashes series in Australia is not until 25/26. With other nations putting less importance on Test cricket maybe the Ashes every 18 months is the way to go?

You’ve all heard the comment before “playstation football”. This England team play “playstation cricket”. They can score so fast like playing Cricket 22 on the PlayStation. If these ashes series could’ve been played in perfect weather, four days would be pushing the innings as far as possible. This goes down as a 2005 level series, absolutely superb to watch!
