I was gutted to hear of Robbie Robertson's passing earlier. Reminded me of one morning listening to my Walkman (don't those young ones have it ALL on a plate today!!) at the bus stop after nightshift in Babcock's. Old union boy asked me who I was listening to and after I said Bob Dylan I asked him and he replied The Band to both our amazement. What are the chances? New playlists on the way. RIP Robbie.

The fans seem to be setting a weirdly negative narrative that could end up being a self-fulfilling prophecy. I rarely bother with social media because of the relentless negativity our fans seem to weirdly revel in. Martyn made a great point about conservatism and lack of risk taking but is it any wonder there's not a culture of risk taking at Rangers when the support are such a bunch of miserable bastards?

I can see both sides of the argument. I think fans are at a point where they're just fed up. We essentially had to write off last season in September and were told to look ahead to this season and I think most fans expected a much higher level than what we've seen so far. Last night was a bit better but we've all seen that movie 1000 times. It isn't football that's gonna win us anything.

There’s probably scoop for both positions to hold an element of scrutiny last night was from far from a horror show but far from a Stella performance. Personally saw enough to be encouraged and restore trust that given time the team will continue to improve. It had better anyway😀

Before we get to tactics we need aggression and leadership - don’t see it yet. We are far too soft, They were constant fouling and we never once hounded the ref for a card. At the head clash it was a corner and we just accepted that Servette got the ball back

The team took their foot off the gas at 2-0 up after 15 minutes rather than looking to put the opposition to the sword. More things change, more they stay the same.

Got to be patient with the rotation/lineups though I think, we should rotate regularly now we're stacked middle to front. I'd be happy to see Dowell, Cifuentes and Sima start at the weekend like, Lundstram as well.

I want to begin with I'm an older bear so grew up with a different game. Modern football is getting more and more frustrating to watch. Once you can win a tackle and not only concede a foul but get booked, the games broke. Players falling over and refs buying it drives me nuts.

The culture isn’t different from any other big club so it can’t be an excuse for the players being fearful or cautious. It’s much more likely to come from the culture and tactics set by the management and the players personalities themselves. Given the clubs outlay and the fans expectations, there’s going to be negativity over the pitiful trophy return and seemingly never ending run of laboured performances. It is what it is, fan feeing is just a reflection of the state of the club.

Nah, the negativity has gone to a new level this season. The negative response when we signed Lammers was something I had never seen before. Some people were heading towards a meltdown before a ball was kicked.

Half the clowns on the rangers fc website on fb and insta are just casual supporters who have never been to Ibrox in their life, they are actually embarrassing. I stopped reading social media posts on Rangers a long time ago as u cannot polish a turd. At least on here u get decent fans who actually know a thing or 2 however some still love to moan for moanings sake. If they woke up with a blonde on their face and one sucking them off they would still moan

Thanks for mentioning Ronald MacDonald as the collecting charity David. It is something I was thinking of writing to you about Presumably we give permission to a different charity for every game. As a pensioner I can’t give to every charity but there are certainly ones where I would certainly put some cash in my pocket before setting off to the game. Could you make this a regular call out on a Daily Update the day of home matches ? No need to describe the charity but name it and perhaps put a link in the show notes.
