I think dessers done amazing for what we supplied him. Had very little to work with. He is much smarter player than Alfie with similar attributes. Alfie of last two seasons doesn't bother to close down for the first goal and doesn't have the quality for the pass for the second goal. Hyper proud of my team

All to play for next week. There’s a bit of pressure on PSV also having not been at the group stage for a long while.

Much improved 2nd half, showed some real grit and fight which is pleasing. We are very much in this tie and we will score over there. Cantwell was immense and his effort and will to win is infectious, very pleasantly surprised with matondo, he is playing himself into our team and it’s been a long time coming. We are getting better 💪

Weird game, so much was good in terms of the goals and the directness of Cantwell and Matondo, thought Dessers worked his socks off with zero support around him but there were some real issues in midfield with doing the basics. The lack of creativity or ability to take care of the ball in midfield was noticeable and I’m not sure it worked, thought Raskin was very poor in most things he did and he constantly seemed to be caught wrong side of play. Defence was decent at CB but the full backs again left a lot to be desired and if we are going to strengthen for me it would be there we should look at. The passing and chance creation stats were worrying until the last 20 minutes and Im not sure we ride our luck or dig out the finishes we did over a run of games like that but another cracking euro night and some real positives for individuals particularly the strikers. Some of Dessers passing is a delight to see and I thought Lammers contributed again after being disappointing at weekend. Lets hope this the latest shot in the arm the team needs to get a bit of confidence and maybe makes them loosen up and just play a bit.

What a game of football! Now this is the rangers team that I love to see. Fight, grit determination, hard work, team work , some really good football being played. That second goal..wow. that was world class and as good a goal you will see! Although we were not perfect and still have areas to improve, I am genuinely pleased and filled with a lot more confidence that this team still has levels/gears to go. Very promising put it that way. come on rangers!! We can do this ..WATP! ❤️🤍💙

The only part of Dessers that was offside was his arm … but you cant score with your arm. The defender’s arm played the rest of Dessers onside

Will never forget booing veerman last year then he slips at the corner flag getting laughed at by my section for psv to swing the corner and make it 2-2 last year

Tough call - he’s useful in the sense he will cause opponents some issues and if he tires them enough for Matondo to then come on, who knows? Maybe the goal gives him a boost and he settles. Problem is playing games of such importance so early on in the gelling process, it also needs some luck.

We were pretty wasteful with the ball in the first half. As soon as we got the ball we lost it which was just putting pressure on ourselves. Having said that a fantastic night of football and a great atmosphere. Dessers pass for the second goal was incredible

Dessers was excellent last night. Led the line well. Worked his balls off. Disagree about him not being physical. Gave there centre halves a rough time all night. Think there’s a conversation to be had regarding Ryan Jack. He can’t play at this level for me anymore. Too slow and doesn’t break play up like he’s done in the past. Looked better in midfield when Lundstram came on and that saying something given his form.

Are you related to Dressers? This guy will not even score 15 goals this season. Admittedly, his best game so far BUT that's not much of a claim. It's a low bar. As usual, guys will quote stats ie 2 assists but that's it. Contributed next to nothing the remainder of the game. Embarrassing at times.

As for the useless ref, tv showed him in the tunnel, as teams about to come out, fistbumping their keeper with big smiles, as if great pals. Keeper also did that to the official beside him. Can you imagine that happening before an Old Firm game?

Sorry Bob, not related to Dessers as far as I’m aware. Not sure who Dressers is you mentioned. He gave their defence a hard game. Work rate was excellent even though he was isolated at times. Two assists, one of them outstanding. Give the guy a chance. He’s 2 goals and 3 assists in his first 6 games and that’s him getting up to fitness. He will absolutely score more than 15. Guarantee it Bobsy.

Bob ur constantly on Dessers back, has he shagged ur partner or something. You have not had a decent word to say about the lad since he came in, honestly try supporting him and it may open yer eyes to some of his play, the lad worked his socks off last night and ran his heart out, he is getting there game by game

Feels as though some want certain players to fail. Instead of supporting them as you say you’ve got Bob saying he won’t get 15 goals as if it’s something he’s hoping will happen.

Nikky , Totally agree on Dessers, felt sorry for him with how isolated he was. Worked the front line well and was always shutting people down. Raskin had his worst game for us and Cifu looked like it was as step up in level (which it absolutely was!) so for me it left Jack covering a lot of ground. The number of times Raskin was wrong side to cover or tackle was noticeable and his passing was poor, hopefully a blip. Positive but still lots to work on.

Agree on Raskin. Was wasteful on the ball. Seen a stat that he only completed 56% of his passes which is extremely low for someone or his quality. Done well pressing for the first goal but positionally he was poor as was Cifuentes. Could tell it was a step up for him, didn’t know when to press wide or tuck in. He will learn though and to be fair he stuck to his task.
