All to play for in Eindhoven after a pulsating 90 at Ibrox!

Just back from the game and watching the description there, I think the Matondo goal reminds me of Gazza's at The Piggery.

John Smith

I know what film I’m watching tonight

Bill W

A tough game next week but reason to be positive

Martyn Dick

Rangers second goal: Compare to last season… Dessers times run perfectly - Morelos offside Dessers plays perfectly weighted pass - Colak doesn’t have that pass in his locker Matondo with a great finish - Kent, maybe scores but his stats suggest it’s 50:50

Graham Jones

I’m happy with what I saw in the second half. They did what they do, which is to win the game early on, and they didn’t. They’re a good side because they know each other already and they came into the game playing with confidence. So long as we keep the work rate high then we’ll get much better once they players familiarise themselves with each other, but you got commitment from them tonight, and the talent is definitely there needing to be brought out of them. We could’ve and should’ve won the game, but we will gain confidence from that second half tonight, where we were on the front foot more. We caused them problems, and Beale will know where to go for the jugular next week. Still, it will be a very tough game, but Rangers win in Eindhoven a lot. Let’s see where this performance came take us to.

Colin Gardner

Let's not kid ourselves they're passing and movement is superb. However immensely proud of how we stuck to the task most of the time and showed our quality with two brilliant goals. We just need to take care of the ball a bit better but the way they press should be a blue print for us. Keep it tight for an hour next week and we can do this mob and put them in our trophy room to keep!

Gordon Campbell

If we play with that intensity against the domestic dross we face every week, we’d terrify the life out of domestic opposition, including’that mob’. We need to stop lowering our standards to that of the garbage were playing against.

I agree with the sentiment but we all know that’s not and never how it’s worked…come 12.30 on Saturday it’ll be back to the slog that Ross County will let us be dragged into

I thought we played like the inferior team, all a bit excited and rushed with very little quality, the 2nd goal aside…ball retention was abysmal and lack of game intelligence was evident

Steven Miller

Was there a car pod last night chaps?

Still doesn’t excuse our inability to follow runners and make basic passes

Mmm, can't see it on timeline David. Will log out and back in again to see if it refreshes 👍🏻

Our ball retention wasn’t good enough. In terms of tracking, they cut us open once and it was a real high quality move to do it. Our lads need to improve on the ball but the other complaint, nah.
