Experienced Yo La Tengo playing most of that album at the Mitchell Theatre. They had Robyn Hitchcock and Sonic Boom on stage at various points. One of the best gigs I have ever attended.

Tom

"A little French Columbo"🇫🇷🕵️‍♂️😂

Alexander Bruce Crombie

But he won’t get played, he’ll go out on loan after loan before we free him.

Russ

Been offline since the OF and it's been bliss haha. It's bloody torture but I still back this team and manager, I'm just praying that they've got the mindset that the league and cups are there to be won rather than 'woe is me'. Mon lads!

Heart and Hand

Absolutely. I can’t be arsed with them coming out fearfully Saturday. You’re all better players than St Johnstones, go show it!

Graham Jones

the boy Rice is a good player and has a chance, so this is good news. Players get the chance if they’re good enough and show the right attitude. If he keeps his feet on the ground then he’ll make it. The UEFA rules are more draconian than I realised. Is it not enough they stop clubs from acting like any normal business with finances? Apparently not. It does ask big questions about our policy around Scottish players. Whether we like it or not, we do need to find a better balance in the squad, because we’re handicapping ourselves otherwise. I suppose the problem is quality, which isn’t really there in abundance in that market.

Stephen

True. There are not many decent Scottish players available at the moment but we have missed out on a few recently. Probably should have signed Doig instead of Yilmaz. Porteous and Ferguson too. Players from Scotland would fit straight in to the league instead of risking bringing in guys from South America etc who might struggle to adapt. Need to get beyond this ideas like ‘he can’t be good if he plays for Hibs.’ They can get better playing with better players.

Unfortunately David there are muppets on both sides of the divide. There were some of our support (hopefully not H&H faithful) last night on twitter actively wanting Scotland to get beat. Might not be a big Scotland fan anymore but I’ll never wish my country to get beat. I didn’t and won’t sing for god save the king like Ally done or at Ibrox as that’s not my cup of tea. But I’ll never boo someone’s else anthem and respect that a lot of our support want to sing it. It gets me down as well David 🙄😥

For anyone who wants to know, the insult was around him having carnal relationships with the young lady but not in the orifice God intended.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the daily updates David. Enjoying the daily tales too, some fantastic experiences shared by Bears.

Craig

I enjoyed that daily tale 😃

Unfortunately we have evidence that if he was good enough to go into the team just now then he would be in England. Not saying that he won’t get in the team eventually but if he was good enough just now he would already be gone. There is more evidence points to Alexander being correct.

Russ

One thing I'll always like about our fans is our sense of humour, especially post 2012. We've always been self aware and I think the rest of Scottish football hate that we're still laughing with and at each other a decade on.

Spoon

Alexander, 100% correct bud. We have no route to the first team and no interest in investing the game time needed to develop players. In real youth development focused teams the guys are getting first team games from 16 onwards so by the time they are 20 they have played a fair but and had the chance to grow. They will come in and be up and down but if we believe they have talent they need games. We still call guys at 22 kids in Scotland yet we buy them in at that age from abroad. I find it hard to get excited about this type of news simply as history tells us there is no path or desire to create one.
