John Smith

Love this idea for a show

John Smith

Signing of the Season: Carlos Cuellar Game of the Season: Fiorentina vs Rangers Goal of the Season: Whittaker vs Lisbon Personal Favorite Moment: Rangers 3-0 Celtic

John Smith

Player of the Year: Alan Hutton/Charlie Adam

Lewis Wardrope

Personal favourite moment has to be Darcheville vs Lisbon. The moment I really started to believe we could go all the way

Grant Sneddon

Charlie Adam is an interesting shout John, did have some big moments early on in the season especially in the CL campaign

Grant Sneddon

Slightly before for me Lewis, surviving the onslaught in Bremen made 15 year old me think we were charmed

John Smith

Yeah, he was a player, particularly during this season, that I always liked. When he did something it always caught my eye. Really wish he stayed longer than he did

Stu C

Had me hooked with the intro song choice. Good show. Hard to see past Cuellar as best signing. Between Lyon 3-0 and 3-0 vs that lot.

Mark Harvey

Probably my favorite season ever. I moved back to Scotland in March 2008 just in time for the first of 3 cup finals I was lucky enough to be at. A great season that was a whisker away from our greatest ever.

William Hughes

Signing - Loved Cuellar (the Rangers centre half) but McCulloch for me. Game - Fiorentina away. Got the bus there and it's just unforgettable. Goal - Nachos penalty and everything it meant. POTY - Ferguson. Personal - I cried with sheer joy on the ground after falling over the wee seats when Novos penalty hit the net. Greatest moment in a lengthy list following the teddy bears (profile pic is after the game in Florence).

Lewis Wardrope

I was 14 at the time. The McGregor save in Bremen was an unbelievable moment. Was certainly a different kind of run compared to the run to Seville😅

David Herd

Great idea for a show. The European run has to dominate the awards, but there were a lot of great moments in the domestic season too. Signing of the Year - Cuellar Game - Lyon away Goal - Whittaker v Sporting Player of the Year - Davie Weir Moment - Nacho's penalty Personal memory - me, my son, and my late dad all sitting together at a European final.

Grant Sneddon

Thank you everyone for the comments and feedback, it's very much appreciated. Are there any suggestions for what season I should cover next episode?

Grant Sneddon

Under rated song if you ask me Stu. Cuellar takes both signing and poty really but went with boydy for the silverware

Grant Sneddon

Would love to hear about that bus journey if you haven't shared the story on the network before, would make a great addition in the Daily tales for the update

Grant Sneddon

Was one of those seasons that just capture you at the time and it's only when you look back you fully appreciate it. What a great memory for you all David

David Herd

Depends how old the folks on the show are! In my Rangers supporting life, I'd pick out 1971/72, 1974/75, 1975/76, 1977/78, 1986/87, 1988/89, 1992/93, 1996/97, 1998/99, 1999/2000, 2002/03, 2004/05, 2007/08, 2010/11 from years gone by. Then there are obviously the 55 season and the run to Seville seasons in recent times. The older ones might turn off a lot of the audience though, as they won't remember that far back.

Stewart Thomson

Those two games at Parkhead in April still rankle with me. We took anything from either game, we'd got over the line in the League, knackered and broken as we were. McDonald was miles offside for the first goal in the 3-2 game. Funny the conspiracy theorists never mention that one.

Craig Fryatt

Excellent first show and a wonderful guest in Simon

stuart Campbell

Was 15/16 that season listening to that brought back memories of an absolutely fantastic season with a few ifs and buts of what ifs what a great first show
