Spot on David. Anyone heard from Mr. Bennett, "our best in class" Chairman? It appears that he adopts Douglas Park's policy of remaining silent. We all know how this is going to end for the manager. Be nice to have some leadership in the boardroom.

guess best not to hack into Michaels management staff, his players, the boards blind ambition not noticing the lack',by just insulting them, its plain to see for me,that it is not working at all,no improvement & structural change is needed & this has tobe put in place before they leave, I may be wrong,hopefully, but great lights at this club have fallen asleep long enough.

David you are spot on it was grim today can only hope performances pick up and that we can get a result on Wednesday I was hoping after Thursday’s result the manager would be given more time but feel after today he is a draw away from losing his job, hoping he can turn things around but it is now more hope than belief that he has the ability to do it

Feel sorry for you having to report on that !!! I’ve been trying to convince myself that things will get better but as you say we’re clueless in every department ( apart from Butland ) it’s awful and now just cannot back Beale no evidence whatsoever to think he’ll change things . If we go out the cup on Wednesday there will be utter mayhem 😡

"Apart from the sniff of nepotism and old boys act, how in actual fcuk have we ended up with this level of control over the team? Harry Watling? Academy coach level at likes of Chelsea, West Ham, Millwall then coach of Hartford Athletic. Then to Rangers. Neil Banfield? Arsenal reserve, Arsenal coach, QPR then us. Bit more pedigree I suppose. Damian Matthew? Guidy heights of Welling Utd, Maidstone Utd, Charlton, Millwall to name a few. Colin Stewart. Us." "They are all mates of Beales - they were in a thing called APD in England- it's a coaching club that parents pay for - NOT professional academy level. Beale and watling own APD in London - that's a sideline they have always had. They all aren't at the level with the exception of Colin Stewart. It's all kids stuff - development- it's actually steering into the walter mitty territory - bigtime."

Agree it was poor today. Manager saying the same, Lammers too and no doubt other players will admit it. It's not like they think everything is hunky dory! They know there is work to be done. We cannot realistically expect things to have evolved and improved dramatically in 2 days since Thurs night. Unforced errors from the start, manager cannot be held responsible for that. Typical Motherwell performance st Ibrox (and many, many other teams too). Anti football, kill the game dead, keep the score down and have a go the last 10-15 mins. All the panic and screaming from the stands doesn't help our players, it helps the opposition. Let's not ignore history. Every single Rangers manager has overseen a piss poor performance like that, at Ibrox, against similar opposition and tactics, notably usually Motherwell in recent years. WE WON! Championships have been built on winning in spite of poor performances.

Get the feeling at some point we will go on a run of games where we don't win, and it doesn't look like a team or manager who could get us out of a bad run of results.

I missed the game completely as abroad but was being kept updated and it sounded grim. I don’t think I’ll watch the highlights. Not sure where this is taking us but it feels like a fall is coming.

Sorry mate I respect your comments but I completely disagree - every manager sets the standards of a team and unfortunately we have an inexperienced manager who was brought in for his supposed tactical genius which so far has baffled every single fan. He took off an injured attacker for a central defender, had us playing a very defence minded 352 and ultimately played the last 25 mins or so with 5 defenders and 3 CDMs against Motherwell at Ibrox 🙈🙈🙈. I’m done with the guy and with boos ringing round Ibrox yet again I think most fans are too. Yes players have been really poor ….. that’s on them and him…. He signed many of them, has apparently tactically coached all of them and was delighted with his squad. I was at Ibrox today and imo you’re way off the mark on Motherwell playing anti football today, in fact they had a few good attacks and were really unlucky not to score. We were the ones who were embarrassingly time wasting for the last 15 minutes. Our season so far has had reliance on a resurgent Matondo which I don’t put down to the manager or coaching and Roofe which again isn’t down to the manager or coaching. Butland aside our best (or most decent) players have been Matondo and Roofe…… wtf is going on ?!?
