Papering over the cracks. Get a new manager in pronto.

Scott Gall

Only caught wee bits of the game, but looked like a much better performance. And that goal by Tav was a chef's kiss.

Jim Milne

Hope to hear Strider back soon on post match pods.

Billy Forrester

Pleased with the win after a horrendous week it was much needed, doesn’t hide some of our obvious flaws, think if St Mirren had of kept 11 on park it would have been a tighter game with our usual struggles. Well done though Rangers, bare minimum we expect and should get. Lovelace best player on pitch until his injury, full of desire and caused them all sorts of problems, mcausland looked good too, time to unleash these kids now as given the game time they will be good enough given what we have seen. Another honking showing from Dessers and missed a glorious chance yet again

Latimer

Roofe had another worrying performance

He looks like he is carrying an injury to me or at least protecting himself, just doesn't look like he is confident in putting himself about.

Surely Rice should have got more game time considering how bad lunny has been and the difference in the players after that 2nd went in was very noticeable but that's why most aren't rangers players long term coz they can't handle the pressure of a game when its not out of site.

Jim McCutcheon

Obviously a Crucial win not great but still a win tav steps up again pluses outweigh the negatives with tav , dessers & lammers sitting on the bench says a lot , new manager has a tough job ahead whoever gets the gig imo

KMS

I know we are not in a good place at the moment but is there any need for the whole banned songbook to be rolled out?, would love to know the motivation for it happening. I would rather we directed our ire in the right manner, towards the right people

WB Campbell

Safe passes playing at a snails pace. New manager surely will change this if he wants to have any chance.

Gregg McKee

Dessers is a lost cause unfortunately

I'd like to see tav in the lundstum roll at some point he's got the attributes to make it work and won't see asmuch of his weaknesses.

KennyY

Can’t blame Dessers loss of confidence. When you are singled out and booed by your own fans after only a couple of months at your new club then you’re unlikely to be in a good place. We don’t know how the guys mental health is or what he’s going through personally so picking on an individual is disgraceful and something the culprits should be ashamed of.

FINLAY CAMERON

Borna taking in-swinging corners from the right was refreshing, Tav more effective on edge of the box than him taking corners.

Tom

Tom on Rangers TV said that Dessers "tried to bulldoze his way through their defence" don't see big CD as being much of a bulldozer but there you go.

Lammers and Dessers need to go out on loan in January then sold in the summer even it it means taking a significant loss. They are now emblematic of the mess Beale has left us in. Even if either of them end up going on a run of form they will only be one bad game away from the fans turning on them again.

Ryan Stewart

I’m absolutely fascinated to see what the new manager makes of all this. I was as guilty as anyone after Thursday. “Get them all out” etc As much as fans might want it, I just can’t see the new manager coming in and culling all the senior players. He is going to have to get something about of at least some of them, for this season at least. Alex Staff asked a great question on the preview this week. What if the new manager comes in and says that Tavernier is his captain and he won’t be changing it? Will people drop the “never a captain” stuff? That would be 5/6 managers who have chosen him as captain. Including Steven Gerrard and GVB, who by the way know a thing or 2 about being a captain. Interesting times ahead, but whatever the new manager chooses, we need to back it.

Scott Tolmie

Really like the look of mccausland and hopefully we stick with him, he’s sharp and does things at a good pace, the opposite of what we have had on the right side

jason hart

'Quite delicious' ... I've described Tavs crossing as many things but .....

Graham Ross

I hate the International break, but by f*** we need it to get our injured players back and a new manager. Hopefully reset and the new manager get us playing a system, tactics and brings out the best of our players who are struggling.

jason hart

Guys What's going on with Sterling ... Your no mug if you've been at Chelsea granted it never really took off but he's represented England from u16 to u20s I think so there must be quality ... he just doesn't look as if he's been given a chance .. is there an attitude issue ?? I heard he was mustard .. sorry wrong Dujon ☺️ Also agree with Roofe comments .. he offered nothing today .. we can only hope Danilo comes out the traps firing

Colin Mathie

Tav needs the captaincy removed from him, i will die on this hill.

Gary Shaw

I get why Tav,Goldson,Lundstram etc get a lot of criticism from the fans but how Kemar Roofe escapes criticism is beyond me….he’s a man down nearly every time he plays (no sniggering) but fans will point out 2/3 goals he’s scored in over 3 years to try to make a point…he’s absolutely useless and he’s lucky Dessers is there to take all the heat.

Hasn’t looked great in the games he’s had in my opinion - doesn’t look an upgrade on Devine to my eye
