Content

The final managerial scouting show focused on AZ Manager Pascal Jansen. To help Adam run the rule over Jansen and AZ in general we have The Athletic journalist Liam Tharme and then Dutch journalist and AZ fan Chris Wobben.

We discuss the AZ club philosophy in general and how a manager fits into that overall structure.

We also discuss differing expectations and pressures between the two clubs and a deep dive into the type of manager Pascal Jansen is and the style of football AZ currently play.

Preference is Clement now after listening to all of them. Excellent series Adam 👌🏼

Well done Adam, great collection of podcasts, very informative. Muscat my 1st choice, Clement 2nd. Just have a wee bit of fear about Clement and a ‘horseshoe’ again but happen to be wrong!

Yeah, Muscat and Clement seem neck and neck for me. Happy with either. Let's go.

Think he lost me when he was compared with Gio

Thanks for the effort you put into this series Adam. Really in-depth. Real journalism! Alongside the Rangers Review, unrivalled analysis. Hopefully not need to do another one for a long time.

Great work Adam, good to hear people's perspectives on the different manager candidates. When you hear a name linked it peaks interest and makes you think "oh aye he may be a shout..". But yours and other podders information makes you have a proper think..I was all for Knutsen, but after listening to Simon, Grant and Xanders pod last week, I'm not so keen.. My opinion swayed towards Jansen after reading what he has done at AZ. I wasn't keen on Muscat at first as I was thinking we would be trying to emulate their success under Ange Postcodelottery.. however he would command respect and play High energy attacking football which is what we want.. However, Clement is more adaptable and experienced across several leagues.. out of Jansen, Muscat and Clement I'm edging towards Clement.. everyone is different but hopefully the Board will finally get it right..
