Was it because there's something in the air that the gangs back together? Don't give me hope lads ffs!

Elaine Campbell

Yesss!!! Off to put the Christmas money on us to win the league now. Don't let me down!! 🙈😂

james whyte

Lammers C.V should have been binned as soon as someone brought it up. His career for the last few seasons hasnt been good but yet Beale thought he was worth a small fortune. Disaster of a signing from scouting to the board signing off the fee. He makes runs, none of them anywhere worthwhile. Hides.

Graham McCallum

It’s not Dessers and Lammers fault that we paid the money we did or that we signed them

Andrew Whiteside

Both Lammers and Dessers have not adapted to the pace and physicality of the league. Only looked like football players against European opposition and that has not been great either. We can’t afford for them to fail and hope the manager can get them out the team and build them back up.

AmoRangers

Utter crap until it wasn't. The weekend has to be the end of Lammers and Dessers playing together. Ideally add Ridvan to that too. He's just as rotten. Clement gets to learn a lesson or two for free; you'd probably say that winning in the manner we did was worth more than a straightforward 2-0. #Clementime 🍊⏳️

Andrew Whiteside

I have to say we did say the same things about Beale. About getting a result from poor performance. The next three games will tell us if he can improve the performance on a regular basis and get the results we should be getting.

David Baillie

Great point mentioned with regard to the fixtures coming up. It seems unlikely but I would be delighted if that Mhob qualify for the Europa League post New Year. There’s no doubt the Thursday/ Sunday schedule becomes a major factor when you’re playing against teams that have had a full week of preparation without a game.

Heart and Hand

I don’t think it will tbh. Small improvements maybe but I don’t think you can fundamentally change a poor squad with no signings or significant training time.

Billy McCormack

Lammers was hiding alot behind opposition players.

Andrew Whiteside

I think he will have to as he won’t be able to change the squad that much in January. If we stumble over the line, then he goes into the new season with a mountain to climb. That is if we can’t see the level of performance increase.

Heart and Hand

I hope he can. The board will have to pony up some cash for January. We need a few in. He’s working with a weaker squad than Beale was.

Craig

Watch the Danilo goal from behind the goals, you easily see the movement he makes, been a while since we have seen a Rangers striker make that movement.

Heart and Hand

I love it Craig. Moves his man under the ball then moves back to give himself the space to score. All in a split second.

Steffen McAndrew

First class show. The explanation of pulling players in the box was interesting. For both their sakes, Lammers and Dessers (LESSERS) need dropped to the bench. Currently playing with 9 men.

Keith Kettlewell

Buckled at that intro 🤣 brilliant lads 😂

Stevie

Thanks for having me on, been a while but brilliant to be back. I hope everyone enjoyed the show 💙

Steve23

Brilliant show lads, the reaction those 2 goals created can only be achieved at a handful of stadiums throughout the world, there is no place better than Ibrox when the crowd engage and react positively to the football on the park. Yes we can be negative, but every action has an opposite reaction, wouldn’t change it for the world. Great to hear from Stevie and CJ again. Love to hear CJ on these pods, he really adds something special on these occasions. Well done boys.

Bryan Watson

Great pod guys. Spot on with the Lammers and Dessers discussion. I feel really bad for them on a human level but as soon as other options become remotely available they should be out of sight / out of mind for their own good. Pressure is at fever pitch because we haven't kicked on since 55 and that immense frustration / irritation will not go away until we win 56 and are winning leagues regularly. To me though this is the perfect example of Beale's totally unearned sense of arrogance because I remember him giving it the "oh I sat these boys down and looked them right in the eyes so I know they can handle it" patter. Both of them have drowned at Ibrox and we're watching them float about soullessly. Especially Lammers he actively hides behind opposition players so he can't get involved. Clement keeps using this language of "creating a story together" and I really hope those 2 can epitomise our story in a positive way - a season / players that started off beyond dreadful but actually ended in a really good place with success. I don't see it anytime soon though, I genuinely think that on a human level we have to take them out at the earliest opportunity and either look to punt or actually spend a good amount of time on training field and with Clement's psychologist he has brought in. In terms of the win it was unreal in the moment but it only really matters if we kick on. My dad and I broke a coffee table in the livingroom celebrating the Pittodrie comeback last year but ultimately it meant nothing at all in terms of getting us on the right path. We have to make this count if we can go on a run until the winter break + win League Cup + qualify from Europe then I feel really positive about 2nd half of the season

John Palmer

Lammers has skill but he has this terrible compulsion that when he beats a player, he needlessly goes back to beat them again and ultimately loses the ball, he also takes too many touches. Dessers is a big lad but does not impose himself in the game and Defenders handle him with ease. I think Clement came in knowing what he was walking into and knows what he has to do in the now and wait til January as he can't fix the team til the window opens. I still think in the now we drop both players and play who's available even if they aren't a fans favourite because this is where we are. Scott Wright or Keiran Dowell would do better than Lammers, Danilo replaces Dessers all day long. Clement can then move players around like Sima through the middle, Cantwell out left, McCausland out right and Jack can come in to help rotate the Midfield and change the shape.

Liam Johnson

On the Lammers Barker comparison, I’ve been saying this for weeks. If you watch him in the warm up or the training videos on RTV (into they wee goals) he’s pinging them in from all angles. If he’s a player who struggles to perform under pressure he’s in the wrong place. As much as him and Dessers have been under par, the crowd really doesn’t help matters I’m afraid.

Graham Jones

He’s doing just fine considering the shit show he has inherited, but I’ll give him six to eight weeks before looking at where he’s got to with this lot. He does have a track record in doing this sort of job in Belgium but it’s simply too early to work out if it’s heading where we hope it is. The board have to be honest with him about the budget because they’ve not been completely honest with us about it. Great to see the gang back together. Go course your right about Naismith. He’s a complete cunt. I think Sundays match may be one we look back on in six months time and look on it with more significance, but one game at a time, and it’s all about Dundee now.

Gary Shaw

Yip,that was my point on Sunday evening when I was told that the manager can only pick with the cock he’s got,nonsense!…..there’s variations he could have played without those 2 dumplings…if I’m a player,I know who I would rather be up against if it’s between Wright and Lammers….if the manager persists with these 2 then he’ll deserve all that’s coming to him….

Gary Shaw

The injuries excuse is getting a bit tiresome aswell now from our fans….Hearts came to Ibrox on Sunday minus literally half their team and were within a rush of blood to the head from a win….

Hendi

Agree with the "obvious reasons" why Naismith is disliked. However, why do Davis and McGregor get free passes?

Adam

Sincerely hope the players and Clement aren't going into the game against Dundee midweek thinking it's going to be a tricky game, it's Dundee away. Not a repeat of Sparta Prague last week we're up against. I'd really like it if we finally have a manager that stops over thinking these run of the mill games. With the greatest of respect to them, Dundee scored two late goals against an utterly abject ten man Livi side that had collapsed at the weekend. Prior to that they hadn't won a game since August. We should be quite competently dispatching them even in our current fragile state. Not expecting us to thrash them or anything but we shouldn't really be under any major pressure. I know that it makes zero difference to the way the team plays or how Clement sets the team up. Or even how Dundee approach the game even. It just annoys me that's what we've resorted to. It's all a bit Andy Roxburgh and Craig Brown mentality, this bigging up of away trips to the diddy teams and I just find it tiresome. Expectation is and should always be three points and a decent, but hopefully a good performance. On Lammers and Dessers. I think Lammers is heading into Barker territory and that's more frustrating than a player simply just being bad tbh. He has the talent, he just doesn't have the confidence to put it together on the pitch. It's got to the stage that I think even if he scored a goal or even a couple of them, opinion on him wouldn't really change all that much. It hasn't for Dessers. Speaking of Dessers you're sort of hoping he has a Matondo like resurgence at some point, but I don't think he's ever going to be the main man. Much in the same way I don't think Matondo is ever going to be the main wide player at Rangers, admittedly Rabbi has a lot more time and growth on his hands than Cyriel to change my mind. It's Colak syndrome without the benefit of the goals for me, something hasn't clicked there and I don't see how it's going to with the way fan opinion has gone in the last couple of months. I'm with Stevie, I've pinned all my hopes onto Danilo this season and I think he'll end up being our main man in the next year or so. Hopefully we'll start to see more and more from him in the coming months once his fitness and confidence starts to grow. Hopefully we see the likes of Dowell, Cifuentes and Sterling starting to make an appearance or two soon. It's nearly November and we've barely seen the vast majority of our new signings. I'm not really convinced Lawrence is back, until he's fit and playing week to week, he's in Roofe category for me at the moment. Nobody quite does injuries like us eh.

Spoon

Have to say of all the damage Beale did the thing that annoys me the most is that he was allowed to bin Colak who I was a huge fan of. I have heard all the stuff about how limited he was was and what peoples assumptions were in terms of what he couldn’t do but the reality is his goals to minutes return was excellent and who knows what he would have delivered in a system that supported him properly under a manager who actually knew what he was doing. It was galling to hear any defence of Colak shut down and an assumption made that the players who weren’t performing in other leagues near to the numbers we needed would stroll it in Scotland as it was easier. The number of players we have who deliver numbers that folk want rid of is mind boggling sometimes. For what its worth I like most others was quite happy with the signings, I could see the potential quality in them but what I wouldn’t have done was bin one of the most natural goal scorers we have had in a long time on the gamble these guys would settle, fit in and quickly get firing. Sadly it’s very hard to see a way back for them based on what they have shown so far.

Graeme Edwards

Not listened to a word but seen who’s in the pod and know the league is back on! Class lads!

Stace1ofthePeople

Couldn't agree more I have the exact same thoughts and have mentioned this numerous times. Its infuriating but sadly nothing we can do about it. He was tried and tested and we had already bought him. Absolute madness from beale.

Charles McIntyre

100% a penalty. Lundstrom does block Haring AFTER he gets a hold of Goldsons shirt. Not soft in the slightest.

Chris C

Here's my take on Lammers. The skill/will ratio is all over the place. He is clearly a technically able player. You don't play for the teams he's played for without having something about you. He has the skill but he has very little will. There's no desire, no bite, no conviction in anything he does. His showings with us and recent history at other clubs paint this picture and I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I just can't see him turning this around. He has the heart of a mouse and in the role we are trying to deploy him, you need to be brave, you need to fight and have a burning will to win. He doesn't have it. Whether PC will coach this into him remains to be seen but I think he is trying to let Lammers play through this spell but there must be a finishing line for this thought process and I'm guessing we are close to it. I'd root him out and play McCausland - what have we got to lose ? We are getting next to nothing from Lammers right now, he's an empty jersey.

Gary Shaw

All to do with the press conference and what he said I’m guessing…McGregor went quietly and Davis made sure Rangers got a small fee for him.

William Ross

I don't recall the little rat naismith getting so upset about the penalty celtic got against hearts the week before. Playing to the gallery predominantly the heats fans, but to an extent the press too

Heart and Hand

Correct. I didn’t blame any player leaving. It wasn’t realistic to expect players with EPL options to play in Div 3. But he very deliberately decided that rather than just quietly leave he would publicly twist the knife into every supporter.

ali t

Start of season i thought Lammers would be top man and could not see what Sima offered........ shows what i know😎 I still think Dessers will contribute 🤞

Graeme Homer

I still can’t believe that Lundstram and Raskin are avoiding criticism for their continuing shit performances and some are even praising them. Yet the same people are bashing Tav, Borna when their bad are much better. There seems to a blindness in our support, Lammers, Dessers, Tav and Borna are just so hated that others can be equally bad or worse and it doesn’t matter. I don’t how we can achieve long term success with Lammers, Desser, Lundstram and Raskin in the team at all.

Graeme Brown

Re: the furore around the second penalty. Quite aside from the fact that it WAS actually a penalty, it’s amazing how we’re always told “these things even themselves over the course of a season” until we actually get a decision that goes our way. The only surprising thing is that it still surprises me.

Callum Dinnen

I think you're spot on about Lammers and Dessers being symbols of the summer, I think they'll forever be tainted by their association with Beale.
