JM

PC looked a bit cross today - was it the press conference questions or the injury situ ?

Alan Weir

One of the greatest song openings ever.

Stewart Robertson

The Manager seems shocked at the injury situation. Hope he can get it sorted - rapid style.

David Herd

What a song! Reasonably good news on Raskin, I was expecting him out till next year.

Angus Mackay

Love the manager’s approach.

Geeman

Tis my favourite Joy Division track. Enjoyed Nine Inch Nails version too. Splendid

james whyte

Who knew signing players with injury hit careers continue to be injured. Its a joke now really.

Simon

Beale spoke about fitness and injuries when he came in.

Callum Dinnen

All as part of his 'look how shite the previous manager was' PR campaign, and another example of Beale being able to talk shite without backing it up. See also: 'we wouldn't have lost to Celtic' before going on to have an even worse record than Gio.

Tom C

I think Gerrard managed Kemar Roofe's minutes better than Gio or, surprisingly, Beale, hence the 55 season. Not sure why that has changed.

Russ

Sorry for being presumptuous but if Nico Raskin is back in the short term, in a week or two say, does that speak to the teams mentality in terms of injuries? I'm not savvy with body mechanics or the physiological side of football so that might just be the case with some impact injuries but I'm baffled as to how you can't be able to walk off a pitch but be playing 2 weeks later? Reminds me of Naby Keita being stretchered off v United and playing a week later - and that boy wouldn't say boo to a goose. Speedy recovery Nico of course, I'm being a tad cynical.

David

My stance exactly, Davie. Spent big in the summer - tough! You spent badly on your watch. Get it sorted.

Colin Fraser

Cheers for the shout out davey. Much appreciated laura!

Tamus

When everything in football these days is a graph or a pie chart, our injuries cannot be a Coincidence

John Smith

Celtic for the first time in their history have done the right thing. Green Brigade banned and season tickets pulled. This will surely start to divide them ?

chris smith

Interesting that - in 2023 - the injury/fitness ‘issue’ now includes lifestyle and diet …. beyond criminal if this is a major issue …. again, … in 2023

Rona Bluebell

PC sounds like he has a wry sense of humour. By the way David, I thought you were a Goth? This is your night to shine. 🦇 🎃 👻 🧛‍♀️ ⚰️ woooooh

William Ross

Joy division and new order the two greatest bands in my lifetime....well in my opinion of course

JM

Drinking culture? Poor diet ? Too much x box ?

Graham Roy

That’s a fair comment I think as Beale was struggling he went with roofe more than he should have!

David Simpson

My favourire JD track...and originally only released as a 7 inch single with Atmosphere on the other side by an obscure French magazine.

Brian Rae

The manager is impressing me more every day. He's obviously horrified by the physical standards at the club and I expect he'll fix that very quickly. I also think he'll be moving on the constantly injured within the next two windows. Isn't it great to finally have someone who knows what their doing?

Graham Jones

I think the management of the squad, at all levels, has been like a runaway train for over two years. It’s been the subject of underinvestment by the board because they wanted to prioritise structural projects, such as NEH and the stadium improvements, including the upcoming expansion project. That’s an executive decision and everything has spiralled from that strategic change after King stepped down. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but it’s where the current position stems from. We need to stop this absolute nonsense that we spent a load of money in the summer, because we pretty much recouped what we spent through sales. I have no idea what finances we have in the club at the moment, but the board need to look at all their options with the current state of the squad, which has become sub-standard over a number of transfer windows. There is clearly something going wrong with the fitness at the club, but the management of players has been wrong since Gerrard left. Gerrard wasn’t perfect, but his backroom team was run well and we had a very good record regarding how we looked after players. Clement will have his own thoughts, and he will need to get to the bottom of why this has become so bad. However, the main thing is to win tomorrow against Dundee.

Spoon

I am basing this on absolutely just gut feeling, I get the impression Roofe isn’t that interested in playing ubless he is in an immaculate state of fitness. He is a player that at every club he has been at has had significant spells injured and usually has a single good season then breaks down. Not sure if it’s a mental block or a mentality thing but the stats tell you Roofe won’t be available for you very much if you sign him.

Spoon

Immense tune, Isolation or These Days are my own personal favourites but this is up there. Have to say Hooky does a very good version, the recent gig at Barrowlands he was in fine form and he’s well worth seeing if you haven’t already and can catch a show.

Darren Ure

I find it disappointing that Clement has ruled out the use of Waller special coffees

Colin Mathie

Send this Waller guy back to where he came from, hes clearly 💩

Chris Henderson

When he spoke about surprises I thought he was talking about McCausland
