The guys are back after a longer hiatus than planned so thanks for bearing with us!

After the epic Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic, Rangers league form deteriorated badly. It was initially written off as a post-OF hangover...but it continued to get worse.

Join Dave, Rob and David as they continue their game-by-game look at Mark Warburton's time at Ibrox.

Been waiting weeks for this 😎

Glad we can be back to fill your life with tales of drawing with Alloa and getting scudded off of Livingston!

Glad you picked up this series again. Thanks guys. Totally logical for supporters to think 'We're back!' having won the Championship with ease and then beating the all conquering Dalia team in the Cup SF. This precise period of season end & cup final exposed Warburton's naivety as a manager in judgement, planning and preparation of a big team to win things. Further exposed the next season. Had the ability and was clever enough to learn, adapt and take it up to the required level - given time & experience. Still think plenty of the football we played this season is right up there amongst the most progressive, swift and exciting football I've seen by Rangers.

Barry MacKays goal Vs Hibs was possibly better than the semi-final goal , I remember being frustrated as hell at this loss given it was against our future cup final opponents ....... yeah had a dislike for " going for 55 " display

If Celtic had won the semi maybe 2-1 do you reckon they’d have appointed Rodgers that summer ?

Rob Shorthouse

That's a good question, probably not. It did feel like it was a direct response to us beating them.

The falsest of dawns but wouldn’t swap that day for anything. I think Celtic would have made changes and bolstered themselves for Rangers being back in the top league regardless. That we gave them such a bloody nose before they did it will always be something to enjoy.

Speaking of overhyped players who went on to do nothing with their careers… Kyle Hutton, a player with a champions league appearance, has just been transfer listed by Pollok Juniors at the age of 32

Davids microphone is making a racket. Keeps popping.
