I would say you stop it by cracking down on it in the stadium. Just get the coppers in there and take them away. The Goon Brigade were correctly dealt with by Torbett FC and I fear it’s getting to a stage where extreme ultra groups are dictating what fans and clubs have to do and not do

I drove by the back of Mcdiarmid park last night on my way home I wasn’t at our game and it was just as Killie scored I had the car window down and the smell from Pyro drifted in, so in short everyone is doing it!

The league will definitely try and stamp it out now after last night and eventually points deductions will come on the agenda so they will need to stop it eventually or there will be no fans at our away games coz the board will not risk points hoping the ultras use common sense.

Re the Pyro I do think there needs to be a sensible debate between clubs, police, officials and the fans groups. In other countries it can take place so why not try to make them better organised in a safe environment.

It’s not that people don’t think the pyro’s are a spectacle, because they are. The problem is that they’re fireworks and are dangerous. If someone takes their kid to a game and one of those things goes off in the kids face it’s a different headline altogether, so we need to be sensible, (sorry for being a party pooper), when discussing what to do about the,. It is double standards however, when it’s another club’s supporters that do it. However, that one last night was huge and it actually looked out of control from the TV screen. I can only imagine what it was like being in the stand at the time.

Congratulations. I absolutely love the varied podcast content . It’s now an integral element of how I support Rangers. There is never enough media output of the club for our supporters. Really appreciate the genuine humbled approach you have for your vision and creation. If the TV show commences , I would sign up in advance , Every time I listen to the pod , it illustrates to me the class of our club. That’s the best compliment I can think of. I literally explained on the show but anyway 1. Because it’s pointless. They’ll do it anyway. 2. I’m not against it. I think it needs a discussion on how displays can be done safely as clubs and fans do abroad. You get pyro at many indoor rock concerts done safely. So, rather than waste time kidding on saying ‘don’t do it’ will stop it, I’d prefer if we looked for practical solutions.

Fantastic achievement gents. You might do it cause we listen but we wouldn’t if it was informative and entertaining. Pyro looks good from outside but I don’t like being it. Bottom line it ain’t safe so… couldn’t agree more on manager, team and Butland in particular.. Only recent traumas stopping me getting really excited

Congrats on the milestone, hope you and the team go from strength to strength. Still feeling the positives from the match last night and really hope we are seeing the early signs of the required mentality where excuses are binned and it’s back to just being winners coming back, for the first time in a long time the next game can’t come quick enough. On the pyro it just needs binned in ground and theres no justification for any group of fans impacting others ability to enjoy the game safely. No fan (as our club well knows) should be put in danger or not come home from a match, someone loses an eye or a fire breaks out and all the online likes wont make it right. In a packed stand with kids and older fans theres no place for it and it will lead to club sanctions. Do it outside if you like but can’t get on board with it in the ground, given the recent stuff around improving the signing section to me this is just a big red flag to the club around allowing groups too much influence, a huge own goal from those involved, be interesting to see who claims credit for it or if it was just a random group of people who all bought red flares….
