Bit of Dad dancing this morning to pretty woman. The Today newspaper was the last paper I bought consistently after that I couldn’t find one I enjoyed as much, I think I have the last copy in a cupboard. My Dad thought we would have won the Euro cup if Baxter hadn’t broken his leg , who knows🤷‍♂️

John Walker

Robertson's goal in that 3-3 draw was a mile onside, another decision against celtic they like to forget. Laudrup tearing them apart is a joy to watch. Bit harsh on byork, loved her stuff with the sugarcubes. Good stuff Alan, even though you banned the DK's

Alan Bradley

Ha thanks pal. Hadn’t realised Byork had been in Sugercubes. DK’s not banned, just looking for the right tune.

Gregg

Cheers Alan - enjoyed that

Steffen McAndrew

Superb show again. Your impersonation of Dick van Dyk leaves a bit to be desired though...🤣🤣🤣

Derek Murray

The fox at the piggery … forgot all about that poor wee soul 😂 - was some night though … always feel Dessers has a hint of V Vossen about him … albeit less mobile A Van Vossen is still the shout at 5’s when I put the ball in the car park Got 2 out of 3 … went for 68 and was so wrong !!! Spear of destiny for a request … or DKs Kill the poor ? 🥸 I’ll get my coat ….

Great stuff Alan. Every time you highlight that early 60’s team it reminds of what an outstanding side they were. I’m fully behind the recent announcement on a statue for Walter. I can’t help feeling that Scot Symon should be similarly recognised. He effectively built 3 superb teams. He has a record on par with Walter. In a golden era for Scottish football he competed against teams of genuine European pedigree. Hibs, Kilmarnock and Dundee all competing in the latter stages of European competition. We have now correctly recognised Struth, Greig, Jardine and Walter. Surely it’s time for a similar tribute to Mr Symon.

Alan Bradley

Agree 100%. Scot Symon was great servant to Rangers as a player and Manager. Played under the Great Mr Struth, who handpicked him as his successor. Clearly was aware of him, not just in football terms, but as a person and someone who acted in a way befitting a true Ranger. The way he was treated by the club in the late sixties was absolutely disgraceful. Both John Cowden and myself had a high regard based on our Fathers and Grandfathers views on him. After our series where we both really dug into his career both as a player and a Manager, especially at Rangers, we both feel that he should be recognised as one of our greatest ever servants. Without doubt a statue or some other tribute is long overdue.

Tom McDavid

Didn’t know i shared a birthday with Peter McCloy. He’s 20 years older mins you 😇

Shit back to 0/3…….

Alan Bradley

1964 understandable, suspect due to a few shandies around the other games. Hope all went well at Leeds tonight mate.

Good show Alan, enjoy the music as much as the football. Had never heard the Stones play Like a Rolling Stone before, good live version. 👍🏻 Also enjoyed the coverage of the game at Parkhead where Laudrup scored, remember that game so vividly, it had everything in it, felt as if it lasted for 2 hours 😄 Gokd stuff Alan 👍🏻

Alan Bradley

I know what you mean Jim re the 2 hours, nervy stuff. Mind you the way VAR is going, won’t be long until we have a genuine 2 hour game.
