I was in Primary school in the 80s. I remember one assembly in particular. The teacher playing the piano had been a teacher for decades. While she was playing, one of the boys a few rows from the front wouldn't stop talking. After a couple of interruptions, she'd had enough. She stopped playing, grabbed him by the hair and pulled him to the front of the hall and pretty much threw him down beside the piano. It was actually brutal to watch back then. Also, who's watch is it we can hear on the audio?

I remember getting asked if I wanted a sweetie off of a guy when I was about 5 or 6. So cliched. He had a wee white paper poke of sweeties 😂 sounds absolutely made up but the total truth.

Coltness High School in Wishaw up until 1977 (I think) only did 1st and 2nd year. For 3rd and 4th year you transferred to Wishaw High. Thats the reason Wee Bud only warned the 1st n 2nd year boys to beware the nonce prowling on the way to the chippy
