No way we take Kent back. There must be alternatives to former players out there

Max Power

The sheep accelerated the tickets sale to have the clout to say “we have sold out in a day and would and should have had 50%”. Hilariously this brainless scheme has resulted in pissing off their lot and giving access to loyal Bears. A win win

R. Jenkins

So pleased about the supporters involvement. Our club is definitely improving there. Just today I had to get in touch with a problem and the response was not only very quick but accurate and helpful. We’re getting there.

Allan Airth

Rather doubt the FAB isn’t anything other than a talking shop. We have been here before, have we not? Genuinely listening to the fan base and being proactive, would be a positive move.

Gary Shaw

I realise I’m probably in the minority but I would take Kent back in a minute if he wanted the move.

Ryan McMillan

No need to attack the McMillan surname

Gregg

In an absolute heart beat mate - love the crazy wee goth bastard (Kent no Davy Edgar)

John Davidson

I thought Colin's music taste had improved massively for a moment then realised it was you today Cammy. Tune!

I'll pop a message on the Cardiff Laudrup RSC to see if any the Welsh contingent wants to get involved.

Tamus

Please put Kent in the feckin bin - 3 goals in two seasons _ no thanks

Spoon

Kent was an abject failure when here previously and for the outlay delivered next to nothing, the stats do not lie. Huge backward step to go to a guy who not only underperformed constantly while here but has done nothing since. It’s not a surprise he wasn’t awash with offers when he left, scouts would take one look at his output and run a mile. I’m bored us being a dumping ground to rehabilitate players who lost their way, wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.

Gary Shaw

😂😂that’s fair but he’s dynamic and can create space for others…his assists isn’t so much of a big deal for me coz he makes goals in other ways but he would definitely need to improve on his goal return.

Nicholas Dickson

Would you take fergie on coaching staff , I’m not sure kind of 50/50

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update Cammy & Kev. Kent. Immediate reaction is GTF but on reflection he's a great team worker, never hides, SPFL teams constantly put 2 or 3 men on him in possession. The manager will like his attitude, work rate and team ethic. Maybe with our new freer style of play, at a higher tempo, pulling defenders around quicker, someone like Kent could find space like in Euro games and recapture his form and output. Ok as a loan until we found out.

Gregg

He got 29 assists in the last two years to be fair - his goal return was admittedly woeful.

Gregg

I get you don’t like him - but he wasn’t an abject failure. He was pivotal in us getting to a European Final for example - we can talk about return on asset value and we didn’t get any resale but he and gave us record returns (financially). We have been here before and I’m sure you don’t want to go back and forth either. Mon the goths 😘

Gary Shaw

As I said I think assists can be slightly misleading sometimes but his goalscoring and his shooting is honking…I think playing in this more high tempo, direct style would suit him down to the ground instead of being asked to be the main man constantly and trying to beat guys 3/4 times before he crosses it.

Spoon

I get you like him but he was indeed an abject failure, he cost us a fortune and delivered little in terms of tangibles its all feelings, feelings dont win games though goals, assists and clean sheets do. He gave us record returns financially ? thats not even close to something you can quantify or back up as being on him. The guy was a chancer who floated about on the wing and flattered to deceive, he was no more pivotal than Kamara, Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum or Aribo in the euro run, in reality guys like Colak contributed far more in less time. Sorry bud but just because you like him (nothing wrong with that at all) doesnt mean he actually delivered, found wanting most times when it mattered, sure he could dance about on the wing a bit but he phoned it in for about 6 months and even when trying his hardest for his old mucker Beale he didn’t deliver. A guy who’s talked up but the reality doesnt bear scrutiny, the facts speak for themselves, by any metric a guy who when it mattered couldn’t produce consistently enough or meaningfully enough. On top of that the obsession to bring guys back limits us, there are literally thousands of players out there to choose from and it’s lazy. I will however wholeheartedly support your endorsement of Goths……

Spoon

If theres money to spend we should use it for Sima if we can get him, he’s Kent with goals and smiles……

Gary Shaw

I really like Sima but I think he’ll be out of our price range….I think a loan for Kent then a cut price deal would be more realistic.

Robert White

Kent was jaded. But we might mutually appreciate each other more after a break and he's a Clement type player. For no fee, I'd take him.

Gregg

Typo - he and others gave us record returns. Don’t agree with a lot of the above but we have been here before and we know each others viewpoint on it.

Kev Armstrong

Clement was the Bruges manager when they tried to sign him before we moved on deadline day a few years ago. Credit - @craigiebear

Spoon

Facts are facts, we can agree or disagree on how likeable he is what is indisputable is his recorded contributions using any measurable stat you like. We all have guys we relate to, root for or even just have a soft spot for but it doesn’t change the hard facts about how good they are or their return. If we have money to spend on wages we can find better, the majority were sick of him by the time he left and you seem to be glossing over him downing tools when it got a bit tough. Goths 👍🏻 Kent (not even a good goth) 👎🏻

Gregg

All open to interpretation - football isn’t baseball. Your facts are fake news in my opinion and I dispute them 😂😂

Stephen

Indeed. It would mean Kent on the left Sima on the right and a player that we actually own ( McCausland )going back to the B team. We will be back to square one when none for them are here next season. Classic rangers move to be fair!

Spoon

You can dispute them if you like they aren’t mine, they are on any football site you want to look at. Never known someone’s published goals or assists to be fake news but I think it proves the point. How do you feel about him sacking it for the last 6 months of his deal to the extent his best mucker mate Beale didn’t even pick him ? He was hounded out of the place and very few were sorry to see him go, to be by him back is lazy and would be at best lazy business. Also…..He’s a fake goth, bet he hasn’t got a single Sisters album….

Gregg

We will agree to disagree mate - Kent and Clement but. Got a ring to it - maybe bring him back as a player coach 🤷🏻‍♂️

Spoon

He could teach Sima how to fanny about on wing and reduce his goals output, even Matondo and Wright have a better end product than Kent and for about £4m less 👍🏻

Mark

I cant see anything in the Kent story other than lazy journalism. That said, back when we finally agreed a fee with Liverpool in 2019, Kent, thinking the Rangers deal wasn't happening, was at the airport about to fly out and sign for a foreign club. 3 guesses who that club and manager were.

Rose Mcloughlin

Right away Cammy your intro music is the best yet...hope you feel better soon..whats happening to all you guys..probably exhausted with providing us these great pods.

Rose Mcloughlin

Second comment...I loved the video..as a 75 year old kid...brilliant mix of players.

Graham Leatherbarrow

No to any Kent return, went through the motions and wound contract down, we owe him zero and I want players with desire every week with end product

Graeme Price

I lived in Wales, am Welsh descent and still couldn't tell you anything besides Ramsey and Bale played for them 😂

John Palmer

I'm torn with the Kent speculation. 1 side of me is Absolutely No, he burnt that bridge based on his last Season and a Half and the fact he opted to run down his contract after we paid £7 Million to Liverpool for his services after his loan Season. Other side of Me says Yes, as I'd be keen to see what Clement could do with him in the Team alongside Cantwell, Sima, Danilo in our attacking front line and or Winger role.

John Palmer

I find Greg Marshal to be as good as a Choclate Fire guard. I had Huge issues with RTV, I got nowhere with Streamamg team who looks after RTV so I brought Greg into the Comms. He couldn't have been any less interested if he tried. As an overseas Bear from Australia, RTV is effectively my Season ticket which costs $450 AUD unlimited access or $120 AUD for access except Live Games. I've flitted between both options and feel it's as much as a commitment/contribution to the Club as people who can attend Ibrox. Rangers need to seriously rethink the RTV service as it's totally Guff and maybe review Greg Marshall's position, in my opinion he's lost the Passion for his Role.

David Thow

Loved the Rimmer quote.

Jack smith

Can the Welsh show just slaughter John Hartson i will be a guest no problem.
