Get Ryan Kent in the feckin Sea, man. Are folk mental? 3 goals in two years. No thanks. Prediction - Ryan Kent will achieve absolutely nothing with the remainder of his footballing career

Blair Flynn

Utterly depressed at the thought of Kent coming back

Brian Steel

Really hope we're not trying to bring Kent back. He downed tools and the pressure of wearing the Rangers jersey was to much for him, plus the way he left he couldn't even wear any rangers gear like the rest that were leaving when they got the send off left a sour taste for me.

Russell McGhee

Anyone wanting Kent back is deluding themselves. The definition of a diddy.

David Carslaw

Kent back FFS. I thought this was just Turkish media nonsense. He had his time and downed tools at the end. Waster.

Lynsey Roddy

NOOOOO! The attitude Kent showed at the final game at Ibrox last season should rule him out of ever pulling on our jersey again! Kent was a waste of a jersey since 55 with the exception of a couple of European games under Gio. I never got the popularity of the guy with fans as for me 80% of his game is waving a leg, pretending to do a step over then either running across the pitch gaining nothing & for the last year with us he gave the ball away continuously. He’s so overrated it’s unreal! The guy can’t score either. Look at Bassey, Aribo & Kent, 3 guys the fans adored, who all left to pastures new thinking they were too big for us only to sit on the bench watching games. Let’s move on not backwards please! They were all part of a team that vastly underproduced under Gerrard & Gio. Build for the future!

Rose Mcloughlin

I am sorry but I loved Ryan Kent and he was a hero to so many young fans..but he wanted away fair enough that is allowed but you should not down tools until you leave...did he ever give a thought of these young fans..so no way back for me.

George Higgins

I don’t know what the split was on the hamper but my feeling is that among the general support it’s 99 to 1 no.

Jeffff96

Can’t believe people can look at our squad and bench and not want Ryan Kent back

Jack smith

Hoggy i might have a ticket i will email you mate.

Gregg

Bring him home

Stigger

Kent back 👎🏽. He had his moments but we move forward. We’ve seen what we can do without him. We are now unpredictable in attack and the absence of Kent is a factor in this. The joy division song the fans adapted is probably the best byproduct of his stint 🤪

Jack smith

P.s I would love Kent back I know his goals were low but done a lot more work and involvment in our play than gets credit for. Felt like the club were as much to blame as him for the way it ended.

Brian dowie

Fuck Kent he couldn’t wait to leave

Stephen

Good song. Only discovered that one a few months ago!

Billy McCormack

No no no and a big no on Kent, he's done, he thought he was bigger than the club and look at him now, his career is done as a player and he'll never do what he achieved at Rangers, and not enough goals for a player who was a forward player, so again NO.

Andrew Hind

Kent is away and he can stay away

Simon H&H

Ah the Die Hard pun.

Ryan Stewart

Kent is a pass for me. Plays off the left and we have Sima there. Also Matondo is better off the left. We’ve bemoaned the lack of goals from our attackers for years. Kent was a major part of that, he scored 5 league goals in his last 2 season. Nowhere even close to good enough

Doug

The thing for me is, he wasn't very good his last 18 months with us. He was in fact in a slow, continuous decline after Europe. Further to that, he's moved on and continued to be average. So given all that, what's to say he's going to come back and be any better? Would he put in any more effort? I'm not so sure. I'd rather new blood.

Spoon

The fixation on looking back (mostly to guys who are remembered with a false romanticism about their output) is why we don’t have spaces for players like Mcausland. Kent’s only contribution to football has been moments in seasons and very little tangible output. The chat around being priced out etc makes it sound like we should be grateful if he deigns to come back, we shouldn’t even be entertaining it. It’s like his efforts (or lack of them) at the end of his spell, a fairly barren spell atthat, were criminal he downed tools. Cammy is spot on, let’s look forward and not re-write the past or misrepresent it. Paying top dollar for chocolate fire guard would undermine the belief in a new direction that’s been really positive from the club. Do we want hasbeens keeping out prospects?

Doug

I agree that his overall play added more to us than many realised, but in his last 6 months he wasn't even doing that any more. He was in slow decline after Europe and hasn't kicked on any since his move. So I'd be sceptical we'd get anything new from him.

Doug Maclean

Kent was with us for 5 years. He had one very good season and 4 average seasons. His days at Rangers are in history. Leave it that way

adam houston

Kent can do one done f all for 18 months it's a step back

Rod

We absolutely cannot bring Kent back, we should be moving on the Gerrard era payers still at the club never mind bring more of them back.

Samantha Paterson

Absolutely no to Kent 👎 couldn't get a tune out of him in an old firm semi or final last season, what makes think would do so again!!?

Paul Miller

I'm not sure why there is even a discussion about bringing Kent back.

Paul Miller

He had a couple of good performances in Europe and one old firm game where he made a difference, other than that average at best. I don't recall many clubs who could get him for nothing in the summer queuing to buy him which tells its own story.

Douglas Gilligan

A big NO on bringing Kent back for me. He shot when he should’ve passed and passed when he should’ve shot. His finishing was murder and his goals scored and assists numbers were well short of what we require. I found him one of our most frustrating players over the last few years.

Hoggy

So. It’s a solid no on Kent 😂

Jim Lamb

After that miss in Seville, Kent should’ve been punted. No thanks.

8luenose1872

Are u dropping Sima for Kent then??? No fkn chance mate, even Matondo looked better on the left than Kent before his injury.

Brian Rae

I thought our scouting dept was being revamped? If we really are looking at Kent there's something very wrong. He downed tools last season and was a disgrace in all honesty.

Gordon Watson

Super personal highlight at the end there, lads! Thank you very much for the shout out, it was a classy touch. I’ll be sure to bring my Dorian Gray coupon to Glasgow next month - look forward to catching up you all and also look forward to doing some shows very soon!

Greg

Why on earth would anyone want Kent back? He was the absolute worst offender last season.

Craig

Can’t be going back to Kent, a player who just did not contribute as much as he should have!

Tamus

@cameron bell. You've may have misinterpreted my feelings on the subject.

Jason

The main reason Kent is in Turkey is because we refused to pay him what he wants in wages. So why would we pay him now?

Stace1ofthePeople

Bring Kent back. To do what exactly? Run about wild into people and trip over the ball? Who does he replace? Sima? No thank you. I would rather give matondo the benefit of the doubt under PC and put out energy and faith into the players who are still there. Kent did absolutely not deliver enough over his 4 years here. End of.
