It depends if the young lad is attracted by the money and bright lights of Italy or if he is happy to develop here for a couple more years and earn Rangers a few quid. He’s relatively young so plenty of time to gain an EPL move if that’s what he wants.

Thought it was fine too. Can’t believe people moan about the sound quality of 1 pod. If you work it out over a month it probably costs us about 10p!

Unfortunately people have short memories, 2012 every club wanted us to die when they sent us down to the lower leagues, they thought that would kill us so Septic could be the one and only club to win win win!, and the rest get the scraps, today we say let's buy scottish talent from the SPFL, these clubs would ask for double what they would from other clubs in the SPFL, Stubbs when manager at Hivs quoted no player of mine will go to Rangers and the other clubs followed that same philosophy, the only time we'll get a scottish player is if his contract is ending and we get them for nothing.

I've been banging the drum for young Ross to get more minutes but I have to admit, given our history (nevermind recent) with producing first teamers from the academy and the recent form for Scottish based players flourishing in Serie A, if I were Ross I'd be on the first plane to Bergamo in January. Honestly, was Alan Hutton the last to crack 100 apps for us? He made his debut over 20 years ago. It says a lot that fucking Kyle Hutton is the last player I can think of that cracked 50. I'd love nothing more for McCausland to be a hero for us but the cynic in me thinks he'd do well to leave us with our best wishes.

Wow, people moaning about the KT interview sound. It was more than audible, and a cracking interview. People forget the hard work the podders do to get these interviews done and produced, effectively all on their own. It’s no sky sports with a production team etc 👀 Anyway, the interview was brilliant 👍

Just as an aside, I made my way through The Advocaat Years in the summer and I'm halfway through the Eck Era atm..the audio quality is 10x better than it was back then so I'm guessing David and the team have invested in equipment and the like. You wouldn't get your hat on with the scouting and data subscriptions needed for the analysis on here either, isn't wyscout supposed to be a few hundred quid a year? People treat 50p a week like a membership at Augusta I swear.

I disagree. We could have got Doig for less than we paid for Yilmaz and I would rather have bought Lewis Ferguson than Cifuentes in hindsight. Holding these grudges just hold us back. Our best teams all had Scottish players in them over the years. Our current transfer policy clearly hasn’t been working .

Just in my opinion. I like all the content that comes on Heart and Hand. Some more than others but I like to have the choice of listening to all kinds of stuff even if the audio quality isn’t as good as it could be. Sometimes these sub par recordings turn out to be diamonds. I can understand why people would not choose to tune in BUT please post everything you can. Just maybe at the start have a bit tht says “hi this is some bonus content but the sound quality is not great. This does not replace any of our premium content so pealed only listen if you want.”

Thanks for the update David and welcome back. Plenty singing in Hong Kong? You sound a bit throaty 😊👍 McCausland v Sparta, a delightful defence splitting pass one of his first touches and then a carry through them just afterward had them absolutely bricking it. He / we didn't exploit that further as Ross held back more and passed. I'd suggest tactical from the manager but it shows control & discipline from a young man literally living his dreams. A very encouraging & mature trait. KT / Stevie pod. No need for apologies, a warning on pod notes. Poor quality at the start but got better. It was a good pod. I certainly was not bothered about 'paying for it', (just one show amongst many I get for my subscription!). Just a shame as Stevie does great work, gets scoop interviews, asks great questions and has some really unique, well researched content. Not being able to hear it clearly just detracts from all his efforts. Can H&H coffers stretch to a speciality 'cafe mic' for him?

On Doig by the way, he refused to sign for an old firm team. Both went for him, Celtic made more of a move but Watford were on the cards so he just wasn’t interested. Oh and my source is his Dad who I used to work with 😂

Welcome home..in time for frozen Pittordrie..hope your back is better...last comment I know we are all allowed to our different opinions but come on to say " thats not the quality we pay for"...what we get for our money is crazy..so wee hiccups are allowed....some other pods I delete because I cant hear it ok because their voices are too low..my hearing is not so good..but its not the talkers fault so I just delete it..no hazzle...thanks for everyones hard work.

But these scottish clubs will ask for double what they're worth so the club would end up paying more, scottish clubs don't want to do business with us unless we're desperate for a player to come, again every club will ask for money way over the odds and if they become a failure the usual fans will scream why did we pay that money.
