On the sin bin thing - guess that’s why it’s a trial, see how it goes. Alternative to stamp out dissent is to legislate for it in the rules, make only captains able to speak to the ref etc. would like to see something done about time wasting - the wee sneak holding onto the ball, kicking it away five yards. Appreciate we do it as well but takes away from the enjoyment of the game

I wasn’t deflated after the weekend although from all the rangers blogs and pods I seem to be in the minority with the amount of woe is me reactions. I don’t know if it’s clickbait or pandering to those in our support who struggle to find any positives at any time but we left the weekend no worse off than we went into it and before the weekend the majority thought the title was still winnable. We created more than enough chances to win the game and we didn’t have luck on our side. I don’t get all the negativity about the performance. As you said much more politely than me they are absolute shite and will drop lots more points in the games to come than in previous seasons. Winning the league cup would bring belief and confidence to the squad and could kick us on and if we can avoid injuries and cope with being the only Scottish club involved in European and domestic competition then I fully believe we can win the league this season. Anyway you’re lucky I’m here today. Nearly choked on my dinner last night watching the news and big Brenda getting a dirty look from the pope as he handed him over a dish cloth with graffiti on it and a blankety blank cheque book and pen. He’ll no be running about the cloisters with that on or the Italian police will be bludgeoning him with their batons. If you see smoke in the next couple of days we know the score.

I wasn’t deflated because I expected it but this phase that’s doing the rounds of “at least we aren’t worse offf” are true but also nonsense at the same time because in the scenario we’re in,we absolutely had to win on Sunday…Also,we picked up after the first 25 mins but that start we made and should also have been 2 down is unacceptable from a Rangers side just been given a mega boost 24hrs earlier and trying to win a title…As for the chances you go on about,Baloguns first one apart,they are mostly half chances and speculative efforts,we didn’t exactly batter down their goal and have balls flashing along the 6yd box….it was a penalty no doubt but if their defender doesn’t have a brain fart then we’re losing that game just like we would have against Hearts a few weeks ago.

Agreed. No one expected that lot to drop points at home. We did enough to win and on any other day that performance should have got 3 pts, even up there. Had it been wins for both OF who'd have been moaning? Same end result as now. We got sucked into a street fight early on Sunday and as the manager said positioning rather than attitude & fight that caused our mistake for the goal. Poor Dessers, copping more abuse for not playing than Danilo has for playing below par! Long way to go, that lot aren't great. 3 x OF games to play.

Ifs and buts are a bit silly in football. We didn't lose either game, fretting over the fact we potentially could have, is just plain daft. There's still 2/3rds of the season to go. We need to play them 3 times in the coming months. The gap is 8 points, and we have a game in hand. It's not insurmountable. The manager said there would be setbacks and that things wouldn't be fixed immediately. He wasn't lying. There's still a lot of work to be done with that group of players. Perhaps it's time our support learned a bit of self-regulation when it comes to managing expectations or emotions. Fans, both average punters and 'Rangers online influencers' have all been rather guilty of getting too high when things are going well and too low when things go wrong. Even keel Loyal

We’re going to have 2 games in hand by the time the final comes and more than likely be further behind…Remember we all laughed at them during their failed 10IAR when they had games in hand and still had to play us 3x???
