Can't believe your positive comments on Dessers. Same as usual, weak, no challenges on defenders, can't jump, can't head it, can't shoot BUT he DID make 3 decent passes in 60 mins. AND he was instrumental in the creation of the 1st goal. So, progress I suppose BUT any Gers number 9 has to be contributing more than that.

There was a bit in the first half when Sima won a flick on but dessers ran back towards our own goal instead of running through to try and get on the flick, his positioning is awful for a number 9

Like we said Bob, slightly better than he has been which was worth calling out but still far far away from what’s needed but had more of an impact in the match than Lammers has in his starts recently.

Funnily enough, Colin, I see something in Lammers in terms of ball control, dribbling, passing ( none of which Dessers can do) but it has all disappeared in the past couple of months. There's a player in there ( unlike Dessers) so maybe the manager can get the best out of him eventually. Here's hoping.

The only Rangers players I’ve ever hated were Ian Black,MOH and big Kyriagos….I couldn’t make the game or get to watch it so that’s why I’ve not posted guys…by all accounts he was decent against St Mirren at Ibrox,probably about his level of opposition to look good against I suppose 😉👍

Big plus for the manager that he clearly wants to win games and doesn't make mountains out of molehills or get pissy over "water under the bridge" type incidents. Picked the best team to win the game out of who was available 🙌

I'm back to feeling sad watching us again. Hoping we get a win rather than expecting. I don't think that will change until we get a whole new leadership team, this one are serial failures and don't deserve any more chances. Today should have been belts and braces, rampant first half. That team should have been creating chance after chance. Instead the goals felt like they came from nowhere, like they have for years. I always try and remain positive but can't now.

Thanks guys for the pod as you must be frozen...great to hear a female voice and one who knows what she is talking about.....My 2 brothers 1 here 1 in Canada both thought we played well..but they are nice and warm...I sitting frozen saw a different game esp the first half..so it must go by how comfortable you are....def would have given motm to Cantwell...and like you Dessers played better and brought the ball in for the first goal...as its near Christmas I wont mention Lammers..except to say give any other player a chance. Thanks again guys.

Agreed. Vs Newcastle he looked like one of only a couple of ours who could compete against that level. Looks like is too desperate to score thrashing at chances when he gets them. Has had vital assists in a few goals that get completely ignored as it doesn't suit the haters narrative.

Dessers can press well sometimes. OF game gets a goal from it but ‘foul’ For his standard I thought he was ok at the weekend but nowhere near good enough for what we need and what was spent on him at his age.

Sorry, Gary, but he made FOUR decent passes in his 60 mins. Helped create first goal but that was it. Low bar if getting " praise" for that display. He is, and will always be, a dud. Wishful thinking won't change that. Even Joe Garner offered more than Dessers!

Do none of you listen to the manager? The double pivot is down to the fact we have two attacking fullbacks and fourth up top. When Pep says the same thing, regardless of the opposition you protect yourself. Cantwell doesn’t have to play 10, he has to play for the team. He’s also been spoken too and was always going to play. Dramatic as fuck to think he wasn’t. Lastly what’s the need in making points that you need to walk back on? Why not lead with the right thing than the random opinion.
