I’m at my wits end with Danilo. Everybody always gives him leeway when it comes to criticism. Dessers and him have scored the same amount. Both are not what we need but whatever reason, one is favoured more over the other. Dessers holds the ball up well. Danilo takes far too many touches. Imagine the boos if it was Dessers missing all the chances.

Hate to say it but Danilo is not a €6M striker. I like the wee man but not with that price tag knowing how hamstrung we are by our limited budget.

Difference being Danillo's movement and all round play is far better and allows him to create more chances not only for himself but the rest if the team. When Dessers plays we do not.

Danilo is not a natural goalscorer, his numerous dreadful misses tonight and against Dundee confirm this. Unfortunately just like Dessers and Lammers we need better than him. It goes without saying we do not have enough goals spread throughout our team therefore we cannot have our no. 9(9) consistently failing to convert the decent chances that fall his way.

I get that mate. Still not good enough in my eyes, especially for the price. Struggling to see a replacement however. Not sure how Lovelace is getting on.

I said after 55 we needed yo get rid of jack and roofe and the heat I took off of CjNovo992 and his wee pals was like Chernobyl. Keeping players like that and lawrence has cost rangers a fortune to have these players sitting on the physio bench

Jack Butlands distribution with both feet tonight was excellent. Kept out the ones that needed saving. What a through ball from Tav and good run and finish. Should have been more comfortable going into the last 20 mins. but a wins a win. Let's chase this lot down.

Tbh, I thought Lundstram was alright. He seems a lot fitter than he used to (like when he closed down Shankland, I didn’t used to think he had the pace for that). Thought both Cifuentes and Sterling had decent games when brought on too. As a number have said, it wasn’t a barnstorming performance but it is a tricky game sorted!

David, totally disagree on Lundstram. Him and Balogun were our best players. And Cifuentes improved the midfield as soon as he came on. Lawrence had an absolute shocker while he was on. Overall a pretty depressing pod when we’ve won away at Tynecastlen and should’ve scored 3 or 4. Also Danilo is getting away with murder with the support. For 6 million pounds he’s miles off it. Just because he’s better than Dessers doesn’t mean he’s doing well.

Thought Lundstram was superb last night as well as Balogun, If we have someone who actually knows where the goal is then we win that 5-0 at the least. Shocking waste of money on Dessers and Danilo. Shat myself when Lammers came on!!!

Lundstrams performance was weird,I thought he was our best player for 60 minutes (admittedly there was not a lot to pick from) but then he had a mad 20/30 minute period were he kept giving the ball away and even at one point he passed it to Collum 😂.

I know you guys will be shocked to hear this but I thought Cantwell was on the cusp of having a really good game…I thought his energy and winning the ball back from Hearts were really helping us but then his final pass let him down too often.

In the final 3rd our decision making, passing and overall ability is terrible. The part of the field we spent a fortune on to improve and weve regressed. Shambles up top for me.

The tactics are starting to concern me under big Phil. Yes, he’s brought in organisation with fewer player rotations, etc., but all we have done for the past few games is simply give the ball to Sima. Is that really it???

When you watch a game it’s the latter part that’s fresher in your mind when you analyse it…There was a period at the end of the game were Lundstram couldn’t find a Rangers jersey if his life depended on it but I thought for the first hour he was actually our best player.

That was a reasonably sound performance in a tough fixture. We were better in the air, Yilmaz had a good game, won every dual in the air amd covered us whenever they brok down that side. Danilo needs to not overthink these chances. Hopefully just a dip. How about the powers that be raise the whole jersey pulling thing and focus more on this rather than us getting legit penalties

The finishing is nothing new Danilo was missing loads even when he scored….. I have always thought we get a proper goalscorer in that team and we win league! Look at 55 season 1 of roofe, Alfie,iten and Defoe all scored pretty much every week but this squad only Sima and Danilo would you consider as being a threat!

Hate to say it but watching that last night just shows highlights the reasons why we can’t and won’t win this league…not only the sitters but our distribution is nothing short of terrible…we can say all we want about the other lot but they are much more clinical and as laboured as they can look,they take care of the football a lot better than us….with us it’s all just a bit kamikaze and disjointed.

Lundstram bar a couple of stray passes that was normal for pretty much the whole team last night done exactly the job Clement would have wanted. Cantwell by comparison was wasteful in possession again and game passed him by for long spells.

What else do you want him to do? He can’t turn players who are not good enough into ones that are. Clement can only get more from the players within their limitations than what Beale did and that’s what we are getting until January.

Thought the performance was fine. Created plenty of chances and should have won by more than we did. The building blocks are clearly there, we need to be more clinical and we'll win games like last night and at Pittodrie more comfortably.

The corners under PC have been an abomination. Danilo should have scored but I still want him in the side. Cleansheets are a good habit so we just need some luck up front and we’ll be ok. Keep the faith lads

It doesn’t help I agree. But compared to what other players are getting and have got he’s not really received any criticism up until last night. Understand he’s shown more than Dessers and Lammers but if that’s what he’s being measured against then it wouldn’t be hard to look decent. Seen Adams tweet today regarding his goals per minute . Need to stick with him and he’s got some big games coming up that he can’t afford to miss that type of chance in. When you’ve shelled out 6 million on a striker I think we are entitled to expect him to take these chances he’s missing. If Dessers had missed them god knows what abuse he’d be getting.
