Great chat guys it was a fantastic win we will savour for years to come , also still have a few problems but I am sure big Phil will sort them out given time and the cash ,regarding Sunday can't wait, positive looking forward 👍

John Jamieson

I think your really harsh on cifuentes think has improved in that last few games in midfield. Still not at the consistent level needed but he is getting there

Paul

Enjoyed that boys. Cammy, I've heard you mention the "big pitch at Hampden" a couple of times. This is a Scottish football myth. The actual dimensions aren't that much different from any other ground. It just looks if from the distance of the stands to the park.

Granters

Now, can he wait for options? DOES HE NEED THEM??

Graham Jones

Cammy hit the nail on the head with the interview afterwards. I saw it as well, and it felt like a different mindset was present. The manager clearly understands how manage the minds in a dressing room, which is just as important as tactics or anything else. It goes back to that old Liverpool boot room maxim, that the first yard is in your head. It comes down to getting heads sorted out as well, and we are seeing that beginning to sink in deeper. Let’s hope it stays in there for Sunday , and then for the rest of the season.

Gregg

Think it’s a couple yard wider than ibrox? Try playing at Shotts Bon Accord - now that’s a big park

LAURENCE MACRAE

Absolutely spot on Cammy , Beale and some of the players have been dining out on 55 and would have done the same on this result , Clement is completely different - great win , it’s finished now we move on , Roofe has the correct attitude instilled in him by the manager.

Jason Allan

55 has hung over the club since we won it. Mindset has become too comfortable and bringing back Beale just kept that mindset in place. Clement is finally ending that era and onwards we move. What a result away from home against a talented team.

Paul

Ibrox - 114.8 yd x 74.3 yd (105 x 68 m) Hampden - 115 yd x 75 yd (105 m x 69 m) The boys on the preview show mentioned the "big Hampden Park" myth before the semi final against Hearts.

Granters

Tbh i think not winning the 2 cups in the 55 season and then not getting past Malmo for CL group football has set a mindset that PC is now attempting to shift.

Samuel Hammond

Agreed- I thought he played well in the first half and has been better in the last few games. Still more to come, and consistency is needed but I do think there is a good footballer in there!

Peter Anthony McKenzie

Still an unbelievable result! This really does show what can be achieved when we play and fight as a team

Gary Shaw

Actually said it to a boy in work the other day…I don’t know exact measurements but I would put good money on Pittodrie for example will only be a yard (if that) either way smaller than Hampden….folk go on about it as if it’s twice the size of every other pitch in Scotland 😂

Paul

Same mate, which is why I commented on it. It is one of the most prevalent myths in Scottish football. The idea that there is plenty of open space to run into. We hear it every time we play there. It only appears that way based on what you see on TV or how far away you are in the stands.

Gary Shaw

The only thing I would say is that it could be psychological because of the distance from the goals to the fans and the touchline to the dugouts are massive and considerably bigger than any stadium in Scotland so it appears bigger but just in terms of the actual playing surface, there won’t be a massive difference in dimensions.

Agree John, a boy uprooted and moved half way round the world mid season and expected to adapt to Govan in a handful of games. The boys a few years older than McAusland and yet we have decided in a few months he’s gash. In the same time Sima has become worth £6m+ and it highlights the point Cammy made about how we are too quick to decide on a player and then set that view in stone regardless of ups and downs that come after. I think personally he doesnt give the ball away, I dont think he’s been spectacular but his passing is far better than others in the team currently and he actually puts it in front of a guy to run onto where too many others always pass behind the man. I think if he gets a run, some patience and pushed forward slightly he will do us a turn. Don’t buy into the negativity myself.

Craig Murray

How can anyone who calls themselves a rangers fan take the dog out for a walk during the game, I just can't understand that.
