Phenomenal result and hopefully the start of a really really memorable season. PC has brought gravitas, substance, standards, structure and shape back to the club and it’s great to see. The biggest compliment I can pay the squad, and I know some have made their minds up on players, is that I want to get behind them again. I get that we have some guys the jury is out on ( to put it mildly ) but I now hope they turn things around and kick on as opposed to wanting them taken out back and shot. Proper managers doing proper management things and no smoke and mirrors. Let’s hope by the new year we are in a very very good place both in terms of position and squad health. Great day for all bears 👌🏼

Fantastic result, remember they rested 8 players and we relied on most of Thursdays heroes! Sterling & Lundstram bossed the midfield, Balogan was immense and tho the front line dropped off all had their moments......what a week, something to build on and what a transformation under big Phil 💙🇬🇧💪

So happy for the players but especially happy for Tav & Big Phil. If we’re honest, it was a brutal watch at times, but it doesn’t matter, they’ve done what they needed to do. Absolutely amazing turnaround from where we were two months ago. Well done boys!

I’m going to enjoy my night but we need 2 strikers in as soon as the bells are in….Dessers is arguably the worst CF I’ve seen in a Rangers jersey and for all of Roofes poaching instincts,his ability on the ball leaves a lot to be desired….get us a proper CF in January then we can have a right tilt at this title.

What a week ... bounced into Friday then starting the working week with a skip and a huge grin Big PC is class .. the transformation in this squad is unbelievable.. still reckon we are way short on quality hopefully get a few real top drawer players in the next window .... I'm happy to eat a huge slice of humble pie with Tav .. I've been very critical of him over the years but as you guys mentioned it stat's are unreal ... still reckon we should be playing him higher as he can't defend for sh!t Now let's go to the scumdome and give this shower a footballing lesson

Had a great day. To be fair I’m a bit pissed but feel a circle closed today. In the space of 12 years we’ve went from 4th division to winning every domestic trophy available to us and reached a European final. We can now move on to get back to winning as a habit not a one-off. Everything that came in between got us here. Real feeling it’s going to be a really positive period coming up. More shiny things being waved much more regularly I think. Sima’s tracking back and tackle at the end sums up the effort and commitment we’re seeing under Clement. The difference having an experienced coach that knows how to win is incredible. He’s using what he’s got really well. Oh, and the goalie. Reminds me a bit of when Woods first arrived. We all went ‘ah that’s what a goalie should do’ Big man is real quality. Every player seems to be improving but the impact he’s had in the confidence of the defensive unit is stunning. Positivity, that’s not just bravado, is a bit of a distant memory for me but it’s back today. Onwards and upwards. WATP.

My son Dan 18 and nephew Aaron 20 were with me at the game today and that is only the 2nd cup they've seen us lift at Hampden. They've been through the garbage of the lower divisions and some catastrophic failures in the top tier since, and were then denied seeing a game during out 55 season. Those kids deserve this. And more. I trust big Phil to deliver for them. WATP

I think Sterling and Lunny are key to the way Clement wants to play. They can cover the ground in a way that lets Tav and Cantwell play to their strengths. If Raskin won't be back in January we need another midfielder to fill that role to give them some support.

My thoughts after yesterday game. David I was saying the exact same Sterling gives me Bassey vibes. It's his position to lose, Jack, cifu and raskin don't automatically get back in to that position. Lunny can't play every minute until end of season however so important we get some players back. Although I love mccausland he also has to learn and grow so a RW is a must in January who can score goals. Imagine we had a similar goal threat like sima on the right? Wow. I think a CF and RW who contribute goals and we will wrap up the league quite easily as our defence is solid with golden and balogun

Sterling was MAN of the Match deservedly - NOT "Player" of the match, the PC term used by the stupid Viaplay female who interviewed him afterwards. The game was played by 20 odd MEN. The accurate term is MAN of the match. This PC nonsense really annoys me. Thankfully, I was at Hampden and didn't hear this ditzy woman until hours later when I watched my recording.
