RANGERS Football Club are today delighted to announce the loan signing of Fabio Silva from Wolverhampton Wanderers to the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

Missed alot of chances at wolves but he didn't half get alot of chances too so here's hoping he gets off the mark early coz he could score a bucket load if he does, maybe not be as anxious up here, then again has he played in front of 50k like us.

If he's anything like he was in my Football manager 2019 save, he will do very well. 😆 It's great that we're hitting the ground running though. He was at PSV on loan at the turn of the year, is this the new DOF putting his plans in place?

I know Big Phil n the incoming signy guy are new to this but surely they know that to sign a player we have to fuck about for at least 3/4 weeks before we pay whatever it was the parent club was asking in the first place. This will be a wrong move if we don’t pay for a quality striker, the league is within our grasp and a quality striker is exactly what will win us the league, a striker who is proven in Scotland, Shankland wins us the title, we need to find the money or we will regret it as that other mob will certainly spend

Wolves apparently paid £35m for him and gave him a 5 year contract which he has since extended. Scored a few on loan last season at Anderlecht and PSV. Hopefully a good signing and in quick so will be ready to go against Dumbarton 😂

David, having listened to this week’s DUs and the latest Round Table, the more I think that Shankland won’t happen this January. Any fee, from the point of view of Hearts’ board, would have to cover the possible loss of European group football next season, so I think Hearts’ fee would exceed our valuation. Also Miovski is not likely to be a goer. Apart from the “Hun tax” which the Sheep will demand, just from a practical viewpoint if the Sheep lost Miovski it would blow a hole in their team. They will be looking to get up the table to top 6/a European spot (which is where they should be with their squad), so they would be demanding crazy money in January.

Before last night’s game was postponed I had this awful thought of Dessers’ picking up an injury and zero fit strikers. With the peculiarities of the January window, loan deals are often the best move.

I’d take shankland but it has to be for the right money - he’s not some kind of messiah. People talking about going “all out for him” - what does that even mean. Always been a good player - folk talk too much about what he can’t do than what he can - but he’s no worth mega bucks. And saying he’s better than dessers doesn’t make it so. That said - hope we get him
