Imagine if Silva came off the bench and scored Dessers goal and then had that shot just wide, we would all be purring with anticipation of what’s to come!

Can we get a dedicated defensive corners coach in in the window? Our last 3 goals conceded, all pretty much facsimiles of each other.

John Smith

WE. NEED. SIGNINGS ! Any chance you can have a word with the club to shake a leg David ? 😏

Spoon

Another night that highlighted the need for a between the posts goal scorer. Bizarrely big Dessers is like a glacier, almost imperceptibly slowly chalking up goals but so so wasteful. Just missing the spark we are all still hoping to see but overall as you guys say it’s a friendly.

David Macintosh

I thought they showed their class. No major superstars, but their movement and working for each other was impressive. The sort of standard we should be looking to achieve. They prove it's possible without spending the big bucks.

Rose Mcloughlin

We looked good for the first 20 mins..but then Copenhagen took over..their passing was pure magic..but Matondo goal was great..and we kept fighting on...pity about our 2 goals lossed in that way..but a good chance to get some young ones on and others to get game time..hope Butland is ok...but god did Ryan Jack look like our leader so calm we will miss him when he leaves...but a draw was good.

KennyY

A decent enough post winter break performance from the players. As well as a couple of new players in this window we need a set piece coach. The amount of wasted corners we have every game is unreal.

True, but you know every jobber team in the league will now be trying the same thing

Craig

Don't think McCrorie could do much more with the corners. Not taking away from the point it was a great ball in but Souttar and Borna should be dealing with that ball. They don't , but they also stop McRorie from getting to it. Our centre halves are not convincing at set pieces.

Take them short - they result in a goal on average once in every 30 odd.

Paul fitzpatrick

Bit harsh saying McCrorie had a mare, not sure he could do much about the OG in the top corner and he also made a decent save. I guess 6 months of inactivity doesn’t help the lad either. Needs to go on loan and McLaughlin can step up to back up super Jack.

Because Silva is still an unknown. What we do know is on Saturday Dessers will miss 2 or 3 decent chances and probably score 1. We desperately need a forward that puts the ball in the back of the net with more consistency than we have!

Teddy Lasso

I thought our shape was better and we were quickly back into it in transitions. Might be mistaken but looked far better and a result of coaching, it stood out to me.

Some say had a shot just wide while others say failed to hit the target when it was easier to score

Dessers missed an absolute sitter when for once he actually jumped up for a brilliant Wright chip ( unchallenged) but missed the ball by inches. Typical! He scored by prodding the ball in just before the keeper and defender got to it. Then later should have scored after pulling a high ball out of the air brilliantly but then missing a sitter by shooting past the post. This guy is a DUD, full stop. What we all have seen in 5 months is as good as it'll get. He must be terrified now having seen the fate of Lammers.
