The Draft now has its very own slot every Sunday night as podders and guests battle it out under the usual constraints to try and capture history the best. This week Stuart McColl, David Marshall, Laura Clarke and Jack Shaw try to find the best possible unique XI from the 04/05 Premier League season. One with familiar stars like Cech, Lampard and Henry but also brilliant seasons from Andy Johnston and Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Have a listen to how they get on and make sure you vote later in the week.

David Marshall

Right folks, now. You can vote for what is supposedly the best team or you can vote for me, a good Rangers man. One of you, one of us! Now let's look at my opponents: Stuart McColl - His old man calls him a dildo Jack Shaw - just started a new Twitter, what's he hiding? Possibly nothing, but if that's the case he'll release his emails. Laura Clarke - Not even a man so simply can't be considered a good Rangers man. Vote with your hearts folks, vote for us. But most of all, vote for me.

Stewart Thomson

The panic in David's voice as he chose his full backs was worth the listen alone 😂

I wish Everton signed Darren Bent it was Marcus Bent 😪 And Cahill didn't take any pens for Everton

Great listen might vote for Mr Marshall just for his entertainment value

Martyn Ramsay

Of course it was Marcus!!! Oh my, that is even worse. Still the best season in PL history for them…

Craig Fryatt

Brilliant that the Draft is continuing

Laura McCrimmon

Great show, that was a very funny one to listen to.

Will Blair

The draft is an oddly addictive concept, so glad it’s staying

Good show, funny banter amongst the drafters. Thanks everyone. Compared to the Tournament or Decade drafts this is easier due to the volume of info available but also tougher because of the same! This really was the era where the Wengeresque chicken & rice total pro was overpowering the beer, bookies & battler pros of yesteryear - but some still remain at this point. Who's team would top those charts? I know its all down to the public vote, good luck all managers, but it would be an interesting exercise to take the Fantasy Football scores from that year and see who really did pick the best team. Just saying! You four are all thinking about it now eh? 😉 Fun stuff thanks again.
