David Marshall is joined by Stuart McColl and Rob Shorthouse as they discuss the quickly becoming disastrous start to the 2016/17 season. On this week's show, the matches leading to and ultimately discussing that humiliation at Parkhead. Followed by all the fallout surrounding Joey Barton. Joy.

Joey Barton didn’t work out with us but I do genuinely think he cared about the club. Genuinely one of the best and funniest trollers you’ll ever see. Real shame it went the way it did. Had Warburton not been manager, I think things could’ve gone differently. And obviously if he’d actually bothered to get himself in shape.

Ross Stirling

Well if he cared he'd have gotten himself into shape. He wasn't a good 'troller' at all. He was a nasty self absorbed individual who wasn't even remotely close to being as good as he thought he was.

I watched that OF game in Tennents bar. Coming in from Renfrewshire I had to go through Central Station. I had tramps coming up to me screaming 'Mon the hoops' in my face. It just all came really crashing home how much work was still needed. Dare say that wouldn't happen today, thankfully.

And it wouldn't be the last 5 goal scudding over the next 2 seasons either 🙁. The guys will come to it later in this show, but the Clint Hill 1-1 draw against them, I actually celebrated that result akin to a trophy win, just nothing to cheer about at that point with the gap being so big.

I know Barton isn’t popular but Lee Wallace and Rob Kiernan were a lot worse that month.

Ross M

You done great guys - that was a time no one wanted to revisit

Campbell Maclennan

Well done lads, some shift. I'd forgotten how absurd a day the 5-1 was. Warburton's brain at this point has completely left the building. What a riot from the manager.

Miguel Sanchez

I can give Barton zero credit at all for his time with us he's a total stain on our club and was an embarrassment of a man on and off the field as he's shown before and after his time with us. Up there with the Flanagan signing in terms of embarrassment.

Dave Fleming

Warburton should have been gone after that Celtic game.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the show lads. Good one as usual. I've had the fear for weeks about listening to this one but a bit of your gallows humour and straight-talking got me through it remarkably unscathed. PTSD pills put away for another day! You did take me to a Happy Place - Nico Kranjčar turning on the style. Aaaahhh!😍

Graham Roy

That moment when you remember that Celtic game wasn’t the worst game of season! Although it’s getting closer to the point where I still complain that forrester never passed!

Samantha Paterson

The Davie Weir question always bugged me too!! Did he just stay silent or was not listened to?? 🤔 our worste defensive displays with him as assistant just didn't make sense.
