Why does Yilmaz height constantly be mentioned? He’s an aggressive attacking full back. Borna is taller but can’t defend his back post and drops off the attacker. The height issue for me harks back to long gone. He’s a modern athletic full back enjoy that.

When your talking about dessers finishing technique,It’s a composure thing,His goal last night was fantastic,5 mins later he goes through one on one and instead of placing the ball into one of the corners of the net he just blasts it low and hard against the keepers legs,It’s so frustrating,And that’s why he’ll no cut it with us,He’ll play a part,But we need a proper finisher that won’t need 5 or 6 chances before he actually puts the ball in the net,

To be fair to Cantwell he’d been making runs all first half and finding good positions but just wasn’t being found. But agreed his body language doesn’t look good much like Aribo

I thought Cantwell was trying to get on the ball in areas that was crowding out others . To me Silva and him are very similar type players. Colin is correct Cantwell is not being protected by referees and Rangers should be calling this out.

If Cantwell could do it consistently he wouldn't be playing in Scotland. He is capable of great moments and purple patches but we have to accept he won't ever maintain those high standards.

Good pod, guys. You mention Butland’s save at 2-0. Another feature of that incident was the way McCausland narrowed the angle for the Hibs player. His defensive contribution has been criticized since he started playing in the first team so that is an encouraging sign. A point raised on X apropos tomorrow's game - 4th successive visit to Paisley with a different boss in the visiting dugout. our last trip there things were at an all-time low. The Buddies were above us in the table. i was very pleasantly surprised by a 3-0 win. Same again tomorrow please, Rangers!
