1994 was a golden year in the history of modern cinema with more classics than you could shake an Oscar at but that doesn't mean that completing a Draft Card will be easy. Colin, Jack and Simon join Martyn to speak fluently and passionately about some of the greatest movies of all time while also needing Wikipedia and ChatGPT to find the rest...

Love this. 1984 would be a great one to look at also. Lion King poster is the remake version btw

Bob McMillan

This has wound me up more than the football does. The disrespect to Dumb & Dumber, Major League and Naked Gun is all thats wrong with the wold today 🤣

Alan Cumming

Loved this. A sucker for anything 1990’s 😂

Pondo Sinatra

WTF guys! No mention of big Arnie in “True Lies”! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

David D

Enjoyed the show guys. If you're a noir fan, I recommend this hidden gem and one of my favourites from 1994, 'The Last Seduction'

My bad, Martyn!😂 Colin’s selection of “4 Weddings” earlier must have caused me some form of temporary brainfreeze!

Samuel Campbell

The crow is probably my favourite ever film so picking that is a sure way to get my vote , but a brilliant shout is the street fighter animated film which is absolutely superb

Ryan Macdonald

The list with Pulp Fiction will always get my vote. Rejoice Simon.

Gary Staff

Good listen brightened up a shitey Monday morning

Gordon Mac

Describing Colin as twee, middle class and pish, was a bit harsh guys.

Cameron Bell

How do you mention Leon and not mention Gary Oldman?

Alex Bryce

Clear and present danger the dark horse choice. Brilliant film. Took me about 6 watches to figure out all the intricacies of the plot

Gary Brown

Good show lads. Really interesting to hear your views on those movies not being adults in '94. No Pricilla Queen of the Desert? Comedy, drama and probably sneeks in under foreign language too. Hilarious. Natural Born Killers, Tarantino going a bit too far too soon. Not a word about Interview with the Vampire. Picked a few really hard hitting but big budget Hollywood films you should check out like; Disclosure, the rise of women in the workplace as equals, superiors, and the issue of sexual harrasment. Reality Bites. Coming to terms with real life post college in the early 90s mecca of Seattle. Cool and / or smarts isn't enough to pay the bills or be happy. The Client adaptation of Grisham's novel. Before there was Harry Potter & James Patterson, there was John Grisham. Couldn't walk down the street without seeing someone holding one of his books. As early 90s as you can get! All about justice and the little man vs 'THE man'. When a man loves a woman. The early 90s most highly desirable woman Meg Ryan & man Andy Garcia together as a cool, successful & stunning couple, with a perfect life. But decending into a nightmare due to alcoholism. Showed it struck anyone, not just the stereotypes seen on streets. The best actual acting both of them have done. All 'wow FFS!' subjects being bravely tackled by major studios and top stars as effectively current affairs for early 90s adults.

Clerks the funniest movie of 1994

Got to this too late for the poll. Simon was robbed.
