The score tonight will be 5 nil. Dessers scores the first 3 to put us top.

KennyY

I can’t wait for each game to come at the moment. Looking forward to tonight

Rose Mcloughlin

Yes 100 % 3 points first then dont drop support if the other team scores the support is needed even more then..cmon the gers.

Callum Gordon

100% on your comments regarding Butland , I don’t think there is another English keeper that ticks all the boxes of playing regularly, used to quiet spells during games and being competent. Would also add a fair bit to his transfer value ( not that I want to see him go)

Jim Milne

It's fair to say the "Clement effect" is in full flow. Any other manager and the thought would be it has to be 3-0. He's got the fans completely bought into the 1 game at a time mantra. I'd love to be in the dressing room. He must be magic to work under. WATP 3 points, up the road and if it's only 1 or 2 goals I'll take it.

Russ

Just on the money in the premier league, I've never understood how clubs in England still have knackered old stadiums despite bringing in 100m in TV Money alone a season. Clubs like Villa and Palace should really have redeveloped their grounds by now if they were run properly, no wonder the Palace fans are getting arsey with Parish.

10 years married but David wishes me happy valentines day 1st. Happy valentines days to you David Mon the Ted's

Gio has managed both of the clubs he loves. Think that's it for him. He is and always will be a class act.

Scott Tolmie

Canny believe you didn’t play a certain Richard Ashcroft song today

Douglas Innes

Not sure what Ross wilson couldve done , how many players stated they wanted to move ? More likely they said we aren't signing on improved terms and would sit out their contracts ...... with a squad of 25 ( at least ) there will always be 5/6 players out of contract at the end of the season

Stephen Strong

Someone is due a heavy scoring scudding from us. I feel it might be Ross County tonight.

Douglas Innes

Time will tell..... if Phil is as successful as we hope him to be I doubt he's even here to see Diomande's contract run out

Russ

I'd love that mate but even though we've played well recently we haven't battered teams and created chance after chance. It isn't due but I'd love it to be tonight!

Kevin Richmond

Taking the Mrs to her first Rangers game tonight (her first football game actually). 3pts and top of the league would be great for her first experience!

GC

Did you say “we should be capable of scudding St Johnstone” at the end or was that my imagination? Either way I agree!

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Think we as fans have to change mindset too re playing staff. It's got to be about player trading and not ready made. We can't even compete with English Championship & some League One sides financially. Demands by the support for 'starters' put the Board and likes of Wilson shopping for older multi million buys, instantly depreciating assets. Self hurting given our income. The Manager & Koppen are used to player trading. Have faith. Keep the heid and keep supporting tonight. It'll come. GD is only important, if it needs to be, in May. Imagine a player over committing, or over extending, to get the third goal, purely for our egos, tonight but getting injured and then out when more crucial points are there to be won. I'd prefer bragging rights in May than now. No anxiety, don't force them, support what they're doing. It's important to their (and our!) development and success in the longer term. Phil Clement's Blue & White army!

Greg

I think going top tonight would be massive psychologicallyfor us and also hammers home the fact Celtic have blown a 7 point lead despite winning 2x old firms.

Scott Duncan

It would be extra nice to mark the anniversary of "that" day by getting back to the top of the league! Let's go Gers.

Scott McKenzie

I don’t think many of our support realise where football lies in 🇧🇪 particularly in the Flemish north despite the likes of de Bruyne, Courtois & the gaffer being from there but they are more obsessed about than footy. Eg their papers are all dominated by cycling compared to say Gazzeta Dello Sport in 🇮🇹. The big 5 leagues is more important than their own league domestically. Also cycling dominates their own version of Sky Sports News.

Scott McKenzie

Super Jack should be their number one considering one is fighting relegation at Everton, 2 are also fighting relegation at palace & Ramsdale can’t get a game either for Arsenal. That should be considered but it won’t be.

Jamie

Brilliant intro song - hadn’t heard that David! Youse need to do a Daily Update Spotify playlist, check out the band Tycho if not familiar with them / awesome instrumental live soundtrack worthy brilliance 😊

Stephen

Think a lot of the older English stadiums are built with houses surrounding them and there is no room to expand without moving away.

Brian Rae

The GVB situation and how it ended will never sit right with me and you are right about Ross Wilson, David. A penalty kick away from our greatest ever achievement, a cup win, bringing in our record fee twice in a 6 month period, qualifying for the champions league and not being backed with both finance, proper scouting that was clearly required. Then seeing his team (especially defence) absolutely decimated by injuries and left in the hands of a medical dept that wasn't fit for purpose. Hindsight suggests we would've been better served sticking with him rather than employing the fraud that replaced him. It certainly was a whirlwind year in charge. We have definitely won a watch with our current manager though.

Russ

Aye mate I know that's a problem for Villa. Suppose the heinous option is to buy out the occupants which I think Liverpools owners did with Anfield.

Graham Jones

In an ideal world we’d have a bigger league with enough sides to make it interesting for TV, but we don’t. The clubs in the Premier League don’t want to lose two home games against the Old Firm, and that’s where it beaks down as a possibility. This was why they moved away form a bigger league back in the 70’s. Walter Smith always said that Scottish football isn’t as good as we like to think and not as bad as we sometimes fear we’ve become. We’re either fatalist about our game or far too hyperbolic. Our problem has always been maintaining this idea of constantly progressing. We sometimes make headway in the game and then sit on our laurels. They don’t do that in Holland, Belgium, Portugal, etc. other nations of comparable size understand they are at a disadvantage in therms of numbers, and they work at making sure every player is given the latest in coaching and ideas to improve them. We lean back too much when we get some success in Europe, and it’s time we started pushing when we do instead. The biggest problem we had was the managers we chose. Gerrard was the right person, but until now we’ve tried to be too clever and give the job to people who were glad of a chance. Rangers needed a manager with the presence it demands, and I think we have someone now who is a top man manager. GvB lacked planning, while Beale was too much of a coach and not a man manager, so he failed to connect with players individually and as a group.
