Kirk Guthrie

To the top we go!!! 🥳🥳

Christopher Bruce

Great choice of intro music. Reminds me of the 92/93 season review 😍

I absolutely love our Manager, he is the best thing to happen to our magnificent football club in the past decade, what a manager we have and what a team we are becoming. Happy Sunday bears. We truly are the people 💙🇬🇧

Craig

Carpod after going top of the league, why not!

William Mcdonald

Kev, did you say Scott Wright starred? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Scott Watson

At full time I popped out to the shop to get a wee beer and a bag of crisps to enjoy listening to the post-match with There was a boy in the shop talking to his son "That's the first time I can remember us being top of the league, I just wish we could get a car pod" "We are getting one, William, there's a special after this game" "Aww that's brilliant, I cannae wait to hear what Colin's got to say" I had to walk over and tell him "It's even better than that wee man, Kev and Simon will be on" Everyone in the shop burst into applause and the guy behind the till brought out a flute and started playing

Scott Watson

I'll say there's a case to be made that signing James Tavernier was the best thing that happened to our club in the last decade but that's a good shout too

Jim Milne

Under any manager since we returned to the Premier League, whenever we've gone top I've went Tonto. Not now, Big Phil Factor has me calm and going 1 game at a time. He's different gravy.

James Mcgill

Monday morning at work and the whole week made.

Shout to the top! Love it

The pitch had everything to do with the type of performance today.

Top of the league! All that bleating & pant wetting about goal difference was worthless. THIS is what winning championships is all about. Squad managed expertly, intergration of new players continued, game tactics tailored precisiely to the opponent & surface. Job done! Never in doubt. Pitch like that never gonna suit a ball carrier like Wright, even less suitable for young McCausland who needed minutes managed and has been targeted by boo boys recently, playing on that was only going to make him look bad. Scott has one thing that Clement loves - the right attitude. Works hard, selfless, a team player, a team mate. Big Phil always says 'one game at a time' but he's actually playing 3 at a time; the last game, the current game and the next game. Tailoring the starters, subs, player minutes and tactics based on what happened last game, what's needed this game and what will be needed for the next game. Trust Big Phil, he's better at this managing & tactics stuff than you and me are!

The reality of days like today and teams scrapping for survival is that we will take a half to break them down or tire them out. What i like about Clement is that I believe he gets this and plans a 90 min game plan. Using the squad to wear teams down lot switching shape / personnel was what happened more than any player failing in their job. The constant slagging of Wright bores me the same way as the nonsense around Souttar both of who take flak foreign guys don’t get. Fine not to like a guy and them not to be your type of player but for me certain folk have decided guys like him or Dessers will be crap before the whistle goes to kick off. I see McAusland is starting to attract similar critique despite having played a couple of dozen games. Clement clearly rates these guys, he talks constantly about the squad and it’s perhaps time to get off their backs. Ironically the opposite is true where the same folk slating these guys are over egging Silva who hasn’t been half as good as made out by some in my own opinion. Great result, solid controlled performance no passengers and all contributing, great day at the office. The big results will be the two game vs them…they might be drowning but they will grab any points they can take from us like a rubber ring so hopefully we keep the run going and put them to the sword.

John Palmer

By the end of the game the pitch looked like it hosted a Six Nations match. We're lucky no one turned or broke their ankles

The required quality needed and with new signings coming up trumps. This for both Rangers going top of the league and the Car Pod. Kev and Simon deliver as always, with the addition of Stu and Harrington. Keep it going, we shall not be moved

Gregg

Morning mate - have to disagree re wright. You love your stats - so far this season he has 14 appearances in the league, 0 goals and 0 assists. He is getting over shadowed by a laddie from the reserves - that was unfancied and was hooked at half time time for our reserve right back. He’s been given chances and time and time again he has failed to take them.

Spoon

Fine to disagree on a player. 14 apps but not 14 starts and with regards to him having had chances and hasn’t taken them, well the manager keeps putting him in. I don’t think he’s Messi but i do think his criticism is OTT for a guy who has been given about 4 starts. Hooked at half time ? That illustrates the point, you have nothing at all to suggest he was hooked just as likely he was simply taken off as a tactical change and to suggest that Sterling is the reserve right back is selling him short too. Fine not to like a guy or him not to be your cup of tea but there are players in the team who can’t do right for doing wrong, no pun intended. My point is that Clement is clearly getting what he needs from every guy that’s getting minutes but the constant slating of the Scottish whipping boys, for me, is boring. Cantwell who I think is overhyped had a decent game today and in fairness has picked up in recent weeks. Was he hooked too or just subbed as the game needed changing or he had a niggle, or the plan was to wear them down and get on fresh legs? Fine to disagree on the players, we all have our favourites and guys we don’t rate, can’t get on board with the tone of the stuff on guys like Wright or Souttar.

Glyn Davies

The cream always rises to the top 🫶

Gregg

Think we had some chat earlier in the season when he had a good game - he’s reverted to type hasn’t he? There’s no dislike of him - he always gives his all but he’s just nowhere near good enough.

Spoon

I agree he isn’t going to take us to the next level, I disagree he has reverted to type as I don’t buy into the narrative e he doesn’t take his chances. I think he is a decent utility guy who due to never getting a run doesn’t get a chance to show what he can do, much like Matondo. You say you don’t dislike him, that’s fair enough but other constantly have a go at him before he kicks a ball and suggest every time he’s picked he’s useless, the gaffer clearly doesn’t think so. My own view is he’s not had a run or the minutes to see if we could make him into a player, the odd game or 20 minutes doesn’t realistically tell the whole story. There are others in the team who do similar things but get a pass was my point not that I think he’s the answer or not someone to upgrade. He’s not a world beater but some comments about him could be written by opposition fans rather than our own.

Heart and Hand

I think in that last point Spoon Wright is a symptom rather than the cause. Some supporters need a whipping boy. If it’s not him it’ll be someone else. They’re already positioning Raskin and McCausland for it.

Spoon

And I get it as we all naturally relate to some players more than others, I’m no different but withWright he gets it with a bit more glee than others for me, the boy is an honest pro who is likely to walk away having made material contributions to this campaign and he deserves a wee bit more slack for me. If he had actually cost us goals I would get it but he’s not he’s just average and hasn’t kicked on, some of it his own ability some a lack of game time for me.

Gregg

All valid points mate - what I’d say and this goes for a number of players over the last few years. You earn your spot - you get a chance every day to impress upon the manager his need to start you. You don’t get a run of games to see how you get on - sub appearances, training, if you get a start - make yourself un-droppable.

Spoon

Also fair bud, but I am not arguing for him to a starter or saying he’s much more than a utility guy but there are some who make out he’s an albatross and have him marked as shite before he even kicks a ball. Some guys were lucky to get a run of games just due to injury but I agree that he isn’t pushing for a starting spot, the boss must see enough in him to keep him around the squad though as he clearly doesn’t tolerate passengers 👍🏻
