All he done was get his pal and his wee hot bird into bother. Wank!!! Everybody else seems to lap it up….I don’t get it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

JFK. Following on from the conspiracy theories you guys were talking about, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the ‘conspiracy’ surrounding the shooting. Oliver Stones movie is a favourite of mine and it’s because of the movie, it’s probably the only ‘conspiracy’ that holds any water.

Matthew McDonald

Jamie

He’s a big fan of Legally Blonde and Mean Girls I’d say

John Smith

My favourite ever movie is American Psycho. Worst movie I’ve ever experienced is Grown Ups 2. A lot of people seem to not like this movie but I’ve always loved it and that’s Batman and Robin.

The only superhero film i've ever liked is Logan tbf, it's not a desert island pick but for me it's a great watch and doesn't get acclaim. Better than the pish the MCU has churned out over recent years!

Paul mcfarlane

Favourites are the godfather (trilogy - aye even part III) and the shawshank redemption. Another more obscure one is murder by decree - a Jack the Ripper story with a stellar cast about a Masonic conspiracy - a movie I’d obviously make every sellik fan watch!!! Who’d have thought Jack the Ripper was a Scottish referee!!!

William Acheson

Favourite - collateral Guilty pleasure - Dazed and confused

Brian Fisher

I like to get lost in a film. Usually Sci fi or something with time travel in it. I'm not into real life gritty drama. If I want that, I just walk outside or go to a family wedding.

Danny Clark

Favourite- Quadraphenia Along with Star Wars original trilogy (it’s an age thing) Guilt pleasure- Harry Potter or Hungergames series (kids loved them) Enemy eye clamps- into the woods

CP

City of God is a great film but it’s foreign. I don’t mind watching subtitles but I can see it being a no go for some people. Where do you stand on this?

@bluebeans

True Romance. A belter

Rose Mcloughlin

I love" this is as good as it gets" its like this is what you would love to do..wee doggie in bin shute..or say but cant..its hysterical.

Gary Staff

My Favourite Movie is The Fisher King, it’s a Romantic comedy of a kind. It’s got Robin Williams and Jeff Bridges at their best in my opinion. Also Amanda Plummer, most people will know her as Honey Bunny from Pulp Fiction and Mercedes Ruel. Who I think won an Oscar for her part. It’s directed by Terry Gilliam, so you can be sure the visuals are good. Honestly the movie is worth it just for the grand central station scene alone. A good old fashioned love story with a slight twist, just beautiful.

Louch

If you say that all tarrentino films are up his own arse I’ll buy you all a pint Film everyone should watch that hardly anyone has is Charlie Wilson’s war. Tom hanks as a bit of a cunt is superb

Andrew Carter

I love a good war movie and by a counrty mile the best ive ever watched was Come And See from 1985 . It centre’s around a young boy who gets involved in the soviet resistance as the Nazi death squads rampage through the Eastern front . It is a brutal but brilliant watch ( not one to cheer you up for certain )

Craig Watson

The art of killing Schindler's list Hunt for red October Just a few. The eye clamps... Lord of the rings pish. It's a fucking walking holiday

William Findlay

Favourite: Zulu Guilty pleasure: The Bishops Wife Worst: The fast and furious franchise

Mo Young

Field of Dreams Jaws Tombstone 👌

Ben Laing

Got to be 'The Prestige' by Christopher Nolan or Blade Runner 2077

Fiona McMeekin

Fave films: Layer Cake, The Hangover, To Live & Die In LA, Platoon, Senna, The Lost Boys, The Good, the Bad & the Ugly and Donnie Darko. Guilty pleasure is probably the American Pie films. The Revenant has to be one of the worst films I've seen (in spite of Tom Hardy).

Chris Wight

Favourite films: - Saving Private Ryan - The Prestige - The Da Vinci Code - American Sniper Guilty Pleasures: - Crazy, Stupid, Love - Cast Away - A Star is Born. Movies I hate that other people love: - The Revenant (DiCaprio’s worst film yet he wins an Oscar, figure that one out) - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (in fact just add all Martin Scorsese films, none of them make sense) Force my enemy to watch: - Duel - Fifty Shades of Grey It’s a toss up between these two, arguably the two worst movies I’ve seen. Duel is so unbelievably bad that I recommend it to people watch it just so they can understand how angry it makes me. For those who haven’t seen it, it’s an hour and a half of a man being chased by a truck in his car and then it blows up at the end and he drives off into the sunset. I am still stunned that it was directed by Steven Spielberg.

David Wylie

These are all favourites The Hustler Once Upon A Time In America The Untouchables The Usual Suspects Seven Leon Memento The Game The Big Lebowski The Guard Into The Wild Seven Psychopaths Whiplash Gone Girl

Bill Jones

Movies to me are something that entertain and wash over me without having to delve into the meanings etc. So my choices may seem very lame to most folks. Casablanca, Life of Brian, Uncle Buck, Some Like it Hot and The Searchers. The worst movie Id force my enemy to watch would be the steaming pile of shite known as Battlefield Earth, John Travolta 'stars' in it. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Seumais Simpson

I tried reading the book when I was about 12. Forced myself to about 200 pages and thought, "fuck this, all they have done is walk"

Louch

I’ve a six hour video of paint drying with an explosion at the end you can watch if that’s your kinda thing

John Smith

Same here my man 👍 I’ve yet to see any character as cool as Patrick Bateman

Andy

The Departed Thoughts on The Menu with Ralph Fiennes?

Iain Shaw

Thought No Time to Die, the last Bond movie, was absolute pish, mainly the ending. Not the worst, but if you like Bond it's brutal

Samuel Hammond

Blues Brothers, Blade Runner and a Bridge Too Far. Each very different vibes but I could watch them repeatedly without getting bored!

Chris Wight

Forgot about ‘The Imitation Game’. One of the best films of all time 👌🏼

Jamie

Oh forgot about that! Biro pen down the throat to get his crack haha

Ross Guild

Favourite - Inception Guilty pleasure - Transformers the movie (1986) Hate - Robin Hood Prince of Thieves

Glenn Malloch

Paul mcfarlane

Oh - forgot the spaghetti western trilogy by Sergio leone - music bu ennio Morricone stunning in all 3. And nearly all of Martin Scorsese’s movies!!!

Gavin Currie

Was desperate to see the Irishman when it came out, huge Scorsese fan. Watched it, fucking hated it, tried again recently, turned it off after an hour. Utter shite and far far too long. Giving his new one a serve for the exact same reason.

Derek Hamilton

I love shawshank redemption and also have a soft spot for the running man

That UFO Podcast

I stand by Dumb & Dumber being one of the great movies of all time, not only comic genius, but its story throughout is superb & it has a truly fucking hilarious ending with the models on the bus!

Robert White

Great books though Bill. Weird to think author is now the god of Scientology which is why Travolta did it.

Glyn Davies

Bit late with my entry chaps but here goes......too many to pick so here goes for classics; Jaws, the Godfather, Big Lebowski, No country for old men & Terminator 2......guilty pleasure Roadhouse......torture/hate; the platform (WT actual Fuck was that all about)
