RM - “MONO” | Our Reaction! (PART 2) (Patreon)

ARMY, grab your shovels….it’s time to go digging!

If you haven't already watched our PART 1 reaction to “mono,” where we listen to the playlist in full, go check it out now and then come back. We'll be waiting for you…

Today, we dig into the lyrics for each track and then check out a VLIVE of RM explaining the process & meaning behind each track. Must we remind ourselves and all of you…RM IS A CERTIFIED GENIUS.

Here are some of our favorite lyrics from each track:

“tokyo”

🎵”Life is a wave that sometimes you cannot see

And ash is a thing that someday we all should be” 🎵

“seoul”

🎵 “I love everything of you, even your fumes and disgusting side.

I love the fishy scent of Cheonggyecheon.

I love the lonesomeness of Seonyudo

and even the sigh of a taxi driver who said it’s a good place to live as long as you have money.

I love y’all🎵

“moonchild”

🎵“We're born to be sad, sad, sad, sad

Suffer to be glad, glad, glad, glad🎵

“badbye”

🎵“You and I

Bad try

You and I

and I cry

You know why

I cry

You know why”🎵

“uhgood”

🎵 “Being off is such a painful thing.

It’s something you don’t know unless you experience it” 🎵

“everythingoes”

🎵 And everyday I stay. Because all humans and all the pains eventually die 🎵

“forever rain”

🎵 “When it rains, I, a bit,

feel like I have a friend

It keeps knocking on my windows

and asks me how I’m doing” 🎵

There is only one question left to be asked…ARE WE READY FOR INDIGO? We may need a lighthearted detour (or two) beforehand.
