What better way to start off the month than with a reaction to the next chapter of TRoB?

We are ELATED to be diving back into this series, and today’s chapter may have been the best one we’ve seen yet. Here are some of our takeaways:

1. From Korea to Los Angeles to Russia to China to Japan to Europe…BTS rapidly established themselves as international icons.

2. “This moment is HAPPINESS…nothing else.” This statement from RM, along with his question of “Are you happy?” made us reflect on the powerful impact that optimism and perspective can have on grounding us within the present moment.

3. Seeing BTS give back to both their ELDERS as well as the YOUTH nearly made tears well up in our eyes.

4. CYPHER…PART…3…LIVE…PERFORMANCE!! Despite this chapter being titled “Cypher,” we were not expecting to receive a Cypher Pt. 3 live performance.

5. Throughout this episode, each of the members constantly reiterate their need to “work harder.” This makes us think of the popular quote: “"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." BTS is a rare example of talent that works (SUPREMELY) hard.

6. ARMY is the backbone of everything. Everything.

We hope you sit back, relax and enjoy our reaction (and for those of you who are watching this series for the very first time with us, we hope none of our comments above are spoilers!)

Our reaction to Chapter 6 DELETED SCENES and BONUS CONTENT forthcoming!

*NOTICE* - We still have ONE more ticket available for anyone interested in joining us at the YTC in Cinemas on Friday (2/3) at 8pm EST! If you're interested and live in/near Upstate, New York, send us a message!

ARMY, as always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Your subscription allows us to produce higher-quality reaction videos, and moves us closer to our goal of doing this full-time! Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, thoughts, etc. at any time! BORAHAE!! 💜💜

Let’s go TRoB! I wish I could join you at the cinema. Unfortunately I live on the other side of the world 😊 Enjoy your Bangtan concert. 보라해💜

Jannae' Sifontes

I can't wait to be able to watch this vid!! I'm going with my sister to see Yet to Come tonight. I hope you all have fun tomorrow!!

Alishea

OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!

claudia

Interesting fact: the orphanage in the video (what you called school) is still periodically visited by jimin. You can easily find videos of him dancing with the children :)

dyxqdthyfv

OMG ty so much «! Please react to their album too!!! You guys gonna love it 😊

Maya

I bet the red bullet concert would be so fun to watch for you guys. I hope we can watch it here together someday

Noll⁷ ⦿ ☰ ☲

Aww I just wanted to go to bed here (its nearly midnight now and I have to work tomorrow), but I couldnt wait and had to watch this episode. I'm so glad that you go on with this series. I love it so much. Thank you guys Borahae

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

I really love this series. I’m so happy to be seeing it here. 🫶🏻💜

Camille

hi jared & jordan! my fave chapters in TRoB are chapters 12, 18, 19.. cant wait.for your reaction to those. ☺️☺️

Harley

I saw the Yet to Come concert in theaters yesterday in 4DX and it was so fun! I will say pay attention to vocal line in Butterfly! I never noticed until seeing it in theaters but Taehyung’s vocals is amazing especially when he does lower harmonies with the other members I never noticed before

Kirssy Mago

Sooo happy and excited that we are back with TROB and going by album. Is just gorg.

Ann Dominique

Yay! Welcome back! Love re-watching this series with you guys. I gotta say, my fave is CHAPTER 8. Just cause it’s the start of their HYYH era (my fave BTS era). This is such a huge turning point for them. And the episode itself was a rollercoaster. Can’t wait for you to get to I Need U. Definitely one of my fave BTS songs.

soyaspinsxxx

YESSSS TRoB is back babyyy 🔥🔥🔥 hahah so glad you managed to pick it up again, and trust us, it will continue to get better and better with every episode! Episode 7 is also still in the Dark & Wild era... so hopefully you can give that one a watch too before diving into the next album! My favourite episodes are probably chapter 15, 18, and 19... but it's really hard to choose 😅

Ellie

Have fun seeing the concert at the theater. Went yesterday to see it in ScreenX - what an immersive experience and so much fun chanting and dancing with others armys with our army bombs. Going again on Saturday with an army friend again - this time in 4DX!

Butterful

My favorite chapter of TROB is chapter 21... that thing made me cry and sob for hours😂😂I was NOT ready, no spoilers but wow in my opinion chapter 21 deserves an emmy

Ellie

Jimin mentions how Danger was their hardest choreo to date at that time. And to be fair, it is still a very challenging choreo even now - because footwork and their level of synchronization is just insane even a year into debut. The choreo really keeps amping up in complexity once we get to Wings & Love Yourself era. Even jin would joke about during each comeback in the Love Yourself era how he would ask Son Sung Deuk to make them easierfor him. [Mr. Son was their main choreograper who has been there for the guys since pre-debut. He's now been promoted in the company and is the Performance Director. So he was still pretty involved with the guys live performances & concerts during the pandemic until Chapter 2. But now he also is involved in recruiting new trainess during auditions].

Ellie

Dark & Wild really was an intense era - they were really working many hours between filming AHL and working on the album during those 2 weeks in LA. And then they were preparing for the actual comeback while bouncing between cities. The guys have mentioned this was probably there period where they overworked themselves the most, and it is a scenario they would not put themselves in again (especially all the hours spent trying to do so much while in LA).

Ellie

One of the things you may notice as the series continues is how well BTS were doing internationally. Their domestic popularity in Korea wasn't as big compared to other groups at the time - they started to pick up in popularity during the HYYH era (which is the youth triology after Dark & Wild), and especially after Wings. Up until this point kpop was primarily focused on the domestic market (and to a greater extent Japan since they are the 2nd largest music market after the US). If you did well enough, your company would try to push you more internationally. But Bang PD saw the demand from the international fans, and worked that into the groups advantage - the guys first tour went to SE Asia. The members made visits to Russia, parts of Europe, and the US. And connecting with their fandom through social media (like twitter, youtube, and their fan cafe page) made them more accessible to army outside of Korea. By the time BTS got big in Korea, they already had a huge following internationally (which was uncharacteristic of kpop at the time). We saw a shift in this around 2017-2018 after BTS started being invited to perform (and winning) at US Award shows, as well as making late night television appearances. Soon after BTS won Top Social Artist at the BBMAs in May 2017, other 3rd generation groups made twitter accounts. They also started their own variety shows outside of korean broadcasting stations, and uplaoding more media content on youtube (and with subs in mutiple languages - usually Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish are the major ones). Now these methods of social media interaction is basically the standard in 4th generation groups. There's a blurry line between when 4th generation kpop began (somewhere between late 2018-2019). But this generation saw a difference in promotioms & comebacks by trying to reach an audience simultaneously on a domestic and international level.

I love your reaction to this episode. I wanted to give you two links that I thought you might like. These two links are when they were helping out the grandmothers and kids. It is called Hope Delivery. It is separated into 2 parts. The first part is when they were visiting the school kids. The second part is when they are visiting and helping the grandmothers. I hope you like them. 1st link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvtEKpPYevE&list=PLYnbNCKkh4wY6rZ2SEdjQMz8FXOf1yJsC&index=1&t=35s 2nd link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkF5PdThBAQ&list=PLYnbNCKkh4wY6rZ2SEdjQMz8FXOf1yJsC&index=2

Suga(r)kookie

an important suggestion for you because I think you have to be awere of this. Check out the channel Boracity magazine on Youtube, she will tell you why BTS is not as much in the western media as they should. The videos are: BTS vs radio BTS vs Spotify BTS vs attendance award shows BTS vs boybands coming back why the boyband "hiatus" doesn't apply to bts Why most Armys don't like Kpop "the next bts:" why they fail every time. bts paved the way, why is it so hard to accept it? the truth behind crazy fandoms

Kecia ⁷

I'm thrilled you are back to ROB!!!! My favorite chapters are 15, 18 and 21. It just gets better IMO.

Kecia ⁷

Yes! I noticed that last night too. It was beautiful.

Yall made me cry by just reading the description, cant wait to watch chapter 6 with you guys 💜💜💜

Why are some Army getting more and more rude in Patreon, as if they're entitled coz they're paying? Firstly, the twins explicitly said they are posting at least 3 vids per week. Other patreon channels do the same but most of the time, their vids are just like 10-15mins long. Here we get more than 1 hour video most of the time coz the twins are squeezing in all the content into one video for one song - MV reaction, lyrics, MV behind the scenes, dance practice. In some, you'll see them posting these content separately to make it seem like they're posting a lot?! Also, we are here to watch, support and guide them in their journey. It is THEIR journey to the BTS rabbit hole. They can do it however they like. If it's not to your preference, then yes I agree to the comment above, no one's forcing you to be here 😩 I hope Army will keep in mind what the twins always say at the end of their vids, BE KIND AND KEEP AN OPEN MIND. PEACE. 💜

Suga(r)kookie

I just said in the first sentence that I don't want to sound rude🤨

Biljana Monteleone

Happiness is RIGHT now. Dear Jared and Jordan- so glad you continued The Rise of Bangtan .🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻There is no love story as powerful, inspiring, uplifting, emotional, honest and palpable as this magical, one of the kind - BTS's and ARMY's . My heart burst every single time of watching the content with so much pride and love and respect and admiration and I just want to shield and protect RM, SUGA, WWH JIN, JHOPE, JIMIN, V and JUNGKOOK from any harm. Their honesty, humility, incredible work ethic, perseverance, dedication....at such young age is mind blowing. Can't wait for you to get to the next chapter . Borahae to all 💜ps. Bringing gifts to sweet grandmas and their genuine reactions got me chocked up -the world is a BETTER place with BTS in it ....Who has been to the cinema ? Keep spreading the happiness 💜🌏

J-Lee

My week is now complete seeing the TRoB series back again!! 🙌🥰 Thanks so much my FAVE brothers!! 💜 My quick 7 points: 1. What am I to you- hope you can watch that too but it's very short, the video of that is really nice and RM's rap is 🔥 2. Dr. Lee Jiyoung- pls do include this in your list of docus. This is one of the MUST for a real ARMY to watch! She is an intelligent professional who's also an ARMY who talked about BTS success. And she's made really great points. I'm sure you'll like that, it's really up your alley guys. Here is a link to the full video: https://youtu.be/Uaj1X76h2mQ 3. ARMY truly is BTS' foundation, as well as BTS being ARMY's backbone too. Literally in every aspect of life 💜 4. Red Bullet was their first concert, so the nervous energy was really high! But isn't it quite amazing to see that they still feel the same even now, you saw that in Busan concert. You guys are right, they are humans - so beautiful and precious!! 😭🤧 5. Cypher pt.3 - gaahhh!! And Supreme Boi adding to that too!! No words!! Just effing fire!! 🔥🔥🔥 6. I always love the ending ments in their concerts. Esp what RM always had to say. All of them always give their honest feelings during these ments which is totally an intimate time between Bangtan and ARMY 🥹💜 7. Lastly, "the heart is the concert" - Jin saying that he understood now what Suga meant, I also did understand the reason why they longed performing soooo much during the pandemic. It really saddened them a lot as it's the only time they get closer to Army. So it was really heartbreaking for them to be stopped performing 😞 Thanks again for this guys!! My FAVE chapter in TRoB is probably Chap 12: Blood, Sweat and Tears because-- okay no spoilers! Lol 😉💜 Looking forward for more TRoB series with my Fave bros!! 💜💜💜

Serah Myst

So glad you're able to return to TROB series. Just curious, when do you think we'll be getting the video of you opening your presents that was delayed from Christmas? I may have sent you another "anonymous" gift and was hoping to watch the unboxing 😁

Tharikha Lakshmi

You might want to check your quantity vs quality index before making that comment. Also….. I love boracity’s videos to. And I’m sure they’ll get to it. Just be patient.

J-Lee

You didn't want to sound rude but the comment was rude anyways esp mentioning that you're "paying but not getting much". If one wouldn't want to be rude then one shouldn't make rude comments at all 🤷

J-Lee

Lol I smiled at how you especially put "WWH" with Jin's name 🤭🥰💜

Tharikha Lakshmi

Love this comment. It’s a great explanation of their growth 💜

Tharikha Lakshmi

I’ll look out for it. I’m going on Saturday 💜

Kallie

They provide quality videos, yes we would love too see more but burn out is a thing. You need to understand that it takes alot to make content. They have a life outside of posting here and they've created a balance that works for them. I see you recommended some specific videos, I am sure hundreds if not thousands have reacted to them and you can find them for free on Youtube.

amanda

they post 3 times a week on patreon which are often 1+ hour long videos filled with way more content than any of us ask for, along with extra videos each month for people who subscribe to higher tiers, AND still post videos for us on youtube. stop acting entitled just because u pay for a subscription. no one is asking u to be here.

leat

oh i have so many favorites i really love episode 9, 11, 16 and 21 i think it is. some made me cry others was filled with wisdom from sources Anissa put in. witch was not related to BTS but told the story so well. the episodes keep getting better and better. and once they really break into the US you see how crazy it gets with the fans. in 2014 is was only a few fans and BTS had contact with them on their fansite and they got fanletters and gifts. later on gifts was not allowed because they got so much. and they could no longer have fan meetings because of the safety. witch BTS misses more than anything. everytime they stream millions of people write comments so they can´t answer and it must be to hectic for them. now it has become this huge thing that all the good stories from army we se in this episode will be drowned by the others. But bighit always tires to make it good for BTS as well as for army. they make sure to do fan projects so bts can see each army more as individuals than as a mass. and i think that´s why RM chose to have a concert in that small venue with indigo. he was also not nervous and had fun. Rm especially is very open about his feelings with army. and sometimes we don´t like what he has to say. there are times he is just telling us he is feeling down and depressed and that he misses when things was more relaxed and down to earth. just like he said in wildflower. and as a fan it can be hard to hear and not cry, but that´s what we love about them. they never fake it.

Shalia

mine is chapter 12 💜

Shalia

i agree. i’m still surprised that the videos are an hour long. That takes time to edit. They work hard 💜

leat

totally agree but now that has become a part of the formula, make it a little fake. at least i think so. it feels like a job idols has to do, not something they actually wants to do. i never got the feeling from bts only on their trip to malta when they said they wanted a more relaxed vacation next time without to many plans every day. and big hit listened and guess what season 4 is the best bon voyage to me.

Selina T

One part that sticks out to me is when RM said we don’t want to be an embarrassment to Our fans. My first thought was these guys are not your typical celebrities, where they do things for themselves. These guys think of their fans and do things for their fans. Second, you would think he was talking about being great artists and performers, but he was actually talking about giving back and doing good for the community. These guys! They are just so complete, just top top guys

Laurie Brennan⁷

Thanks for getting back to this series....love it. I think my favourite chapters were 11,12 and 21, but honestly every chapter just keeps getting better and better. There was some focus on the beginning of their international success and overseas promotions in this chapter. It's important to note that the fact that they had so much overseas support caused some false accusations against them. BTS were winning awards in Korea based on their charting and numbers, but they weren't necessarily the most popular IN Korea at the time. When they won these awards (based on domestic + international numbers), Korean fans were suspicious because other groups might have been more popular in Korea, but BTS was winning the awards. That's where the accusations of chart manipulation started happening. Sad for them that something had to mar their initial successes. They were so happy that their hard work was finally paying off, but then accusations put a damper on it.

Fernanda

Oh how I love Rise of Bangtan I think this series does such a good job with taking you through their journey and make you understand their hardships as a group and individually so glad you guys are continuing to react to it!

Leena

I have kind of a random compliment for you guys lol but I love how when you guys are unsure/confused about something, you actually search it up or try to find it in the video!! It might be a simple thing but it is so frustrating to watch when people are confused about something that would take one google search haha. Not to mention it also helps me who is watching, if I happen to not know the answer too ;) Anyways thank you guys for this awesome reaction, I seriously had so much fun watching it :) Stay safe 💜

Katherine Cordero

Thank you for the video guys, happy to be watching ROB again!

JessNunez⁷💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

All though out the series "we have to work harder" is a common mind set for each member. In many fiestas the boys hit on once the group was decided they all shared the same goal "to be the best GROUP" not to be the best individual member. This is what set them apart, their authenticity and willingness to put the team before themselves. In the first episode of Suchwita RM and Suga talk about right before the Busan concert when it was time for the members to practice the chore for RUN all the members would come to practice early eager to work. RM mentioned "as expected he saw the look in the members eyes and it just confirmed they all still have the same goal" talk about water works 😭 After all this time and all the guys success they are still the same 7 normal boys from Korea. This is why we trust BTS when they tell us this is not the end. I'm not so patiently waiting (joking) for you to react to the next episode. THEY KEEP GETTING BETTER! Great reaction guys Borahae 💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

I think that you’re entitled to your opinion but you should have expressed your concerns directly to Jared and Jordan through a direct message instead of venting openly here. By prefacing your comment with “I don’t want to sound rude “, that’s exactly what you meant to do. They are very thoughtful and would have listened to your concerns and tried to address them with you as an individual. Just this week we had an additional video posted on Monday. They have posted content such as album reviews (Indigo), mixtapes (Mono) as well as solo work from JK and went out of their way to accommodate everyone wanting the ROB series to continue. This is on top of the constant requests for specific additional content, music etc. that diverts them from their original timeline. They put a lot of effort and work into the breakdown and analysis of the content they’re producing all the while having been sick with COVID and working at their jobs part time. They live by their motto of “Be Kind and Keep An Open Mind “. It’s not asking much to try to do the same. If you’re going to do a rant, I suggest you spell check it first.

Ellysa Vaj

Beautifully said 💜

Ellysa Vaj

I love that about them, too.

Ellysa Vaj

And here I thought we are being spoiled. The work they put into each video, the extensive analysis and research for every songs are more than we could ask for. Jared and Jordan are so worth my money and more. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing guys. 🙏❤️💜

Ellysa Vaj

I can’t pick a favorite. Each chapter provides it’s own invaluable information and story that is BTS. I believe this chapter has made Jared and Jordan full fledged ARMYs by the genuine love and respect I see in their eyes 🥰

Alana W.

glad you enjoyed this episode! Clearly dark and wild era is resonating with y’all… might as well finish out the album 🙃 🙏

Alana W.

This comment is so unnecessary… no one is forcing you to pay for a subscription.

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

Thank you for this video guys! Sorry for the long post, but during this video I realized what makes me the happiest is watching you guys sing along and enjoying the music. Since I became army, I've tried to explain to people why I love them so much and hopefully welcome new Army, but that never happened because nobody could understand my love for these guys. But watching you both in your journey really warms my heart. Chapter 6 is one of my most favorite and emotional chapters because it showcases their first concert, chapter 12 and 21 are also my favorites. Jordan, I also wish that I was Army from the beginning, but like Army says BTS finds us when we need them and 2016 was my year after a two-year struggle with depression. To remember that BTS are human and came from humble beginnings brings me to the lyric from RM's Yun "I wanna be a human 'fore I do some art" These 7 men till this day have always kept their humility first and I truly believe this is what has always made them special. No matter what, they always tell us they will work harder and I agree, how is that even possible. Thanks again guys!! Great video and I'm so looking forward for you to continue the ROB series!! 💜💜 PS What Am I To You is such a beautiful song. I love it so much I know you will too!!

Frances

I agree that the episodes just keep getting better and better. While they’re all fantastic, my favourite is episode 18. I found myself smiling through my tears. Thanks for another great reaction.

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

Not to sound rude but.....have you ever created content that is usually over an hour long, provides in depth research and quality that is released 3 maybe more times a week all while having full time jobs, replying to messages and comments on top of having a life??? When you do, let us know how you handle rude comments saying you don't do enough. Nobody is keeping you here, you choose to subscribe. Good luck trying to find other reactors who give this much quality content and so much of their time.

morphee

in the next chapter you will see even more of rm's genius

Abi

Pls react to jungkook singing vlive ( unholy, wild flower , still life…..)

SilvrArmy

So glad you are able to get back to this series! The whole documentary is so good and a vital segment of a full-fledged BTS knowledge base. I always appreciate your thoroughness and care. To me, the creator granting your permission is validation that you are walking a true path. So many reactors (the majority really) are just about the clicks and views. Appreciate all the hard work and look forward to revisiting the entire series through your POV! It really does just get better and better!💜💜💜

Joy Jenkins

I’m with you! This series gives more detail and information than I’ve been able to find anywhere else.

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Hi Joy It’s really well done. I’m sorry she’s going through a lot and felt the need to stop and take it down. I’m glad they reached out and feel comfortable enough to continue. 🫶🏻💜🤗

Lauren L .

I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED TO WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW. I swear this series made me feel such a stronger bonds not just to the guys, but also ARMY. I love watching (certain) reactors watch this because it’s like (1) showing your friend BTS for the first time but watching their fact the entire time for their reactions lol and (2) feeling the comfort of going through the journey with someone else. I always wished I could host large watch parties when new things come out - imagine watching and entire non voyage season in a cozy living room with 10-12 other army’s! Agh. I digress. Thanks J&J!!!

Les

Definitely check out the rest of the Dark and Wild before the next chapter!

Kate

You should check out the Visionary award that was presented to Bang Sihyuk this week. I think you will love the introduction he was given 💜

Daphne Schaffer

BTS didn't have all the money to be used for exposure but made it through the coalition of people... after the success of BTS that opened the doors for other KPOP artists that followed - those artists will never be or create a new BTS story, they may try to replicate the phenomenon but not achieve the kind of success that is BTS' because now they come from a big money building company... because of BTS. I laugh when they ask "who will be the next BTS?" No One! ARMY/BTS built BigHit/Hybe so others can be heard. When you continue to watch the older BTS videos you always hear RM speaking their future... and Suga does the same. They speak into existence and it has happened and will continue until they have no more dreams.

Daphne Schaffer

I think BTS was the first kpop group to communicate with fans via youtube and also created their own shows so they didn't have to go on variety shows that sometimes embarrassed them to do stupid things. They lead the way by doing "firsts".

fofo

Those are my favorites as well. 🥰💜

Angie7

Jared and Jordan it looks like a performance takes place during the ROBT but I’m not sure if its shown…maybe you can react to it after the next episode here is the link🙏 https://youtu.be/S1Up-ZzHmuw

Angie7

Army can explain it better than I

Singa7⁷

Oh boy, this series just gets better and better. I can't wait to follow along with you with the rest of the series. It would be hard for me to tell you which is my favourite, maybe after a 1200 watches perhaps! In regards to their hardships, don't forget that as you watch they are undergoing all the attacks from outside as people couldn't believe how well they were doing. Can't remember if you watched xCeleste's Hardships video (if you haven't I'd suggest watching it before continuing) but keep that in mind as you go along. As you know the attacks were fierce and only alluded to here by Aneesa. It's amazing really how they managed being so young, but some of their soul searching in their vlogs is due to that. Thank God they never let it get them down and destroy them, the thought of BTS not existing is impossible to contemplate, so very very glad they pushed through. Also not forgetting that Army endured just as much. Some left the fandom in the end as they couldn't cope. AND that is also why the bond is so strong. God bless OG Army's, will forever be thankful for them supporting our boys and having their backs. 💜

LIBBY WILSON

I wish I could attend this with you guys.. what a blast that would be! Enjoy.

Jane Rogers

Just FYI, doing community service for the elderly is what a lot of K-pop idols do for PR, it’s not just BTS. Most idols don’t continue their donations and/or services beyond their initial PR work but some do, like BTS. I’d like to suggest a video by a philosophy professor that every Army should watch: https://youtu.be/Uaj1X76h2mQ.

Alicia

Love watching this again with you! 💜💜💜💜💜

Red

Oh— when you hear joons voice saying “do the fuck you want”— the song is called Do You and it’s off his first mixtape! It’s a banger and the MV is great too

Joy Jenkins

Note for the future: whenever you see them performing a song on a smallish stage those are comeback stages. You might remember these are music shows where they debut new songs.

Joy Jenkins

I literally just finished watching this!! It was so amazing!

Sharon

Also if you look in the left bottom corner you usually can see the song title and date. You are only in 2014.

Sharon

A question are you going to do the extra content?

Sharon

Finished watching and you answered my question!!! Thank you!

Kindra Peterkin

Thank you for bringing us back to Rise of Bangtan! Great episode! This chapter and chapter 5 , so far are my best chapters to watch. I already know about their grind and how hardworking they are pulling 16+ hours during rehearsals and still getting some time in hours & minutes before showtime. So much dedication & appreciation for what they do and they do it not just for themselves, but for ARMY! I have so much respect and admiration that it always want me to step up my game and challenge myself even more. But btwn those two chapters, I love the giving back part of it all. In chpt 5, when they went to Skid Row in LA to hand out food to the homeless and talked to one of the vets there who were giving the boys advice about staying grounded and being true to themeselves no matter what....a beautiful thing! And also in chapter 6, the guys checking in on all the elderlys in that neighborhood, giving food, talking with them and Jin helping insulating her home. It melts my heart when I see our youth at any age lending their hand and time to the elderly, so they wont be forgotten in the process or left unnoticed. I love when artists in general gives back to their communities so they wont forget where they came from and how they got started. Again J&J, thank you for your time and patience to give us the best reactions possible. You also make our days special when we watch you guys.

Da Lantis

You guys have to watch "Do you" by RM before next episode. Also the first entry song you asked about is not do you. Its called "what am I to you?" And these episodes, they only get better. Thanks for reacting to this! This series is definitely my favorite and your reactions are amazing!

mettemirella

Finally I was able to catch up all the videos you have been uploading. I little bit sad that I don't have at much time to interact with you guys anymore but I'm trying to find time haha. For me My favourite chapters are 10, 11, 13 and 21. Those chapters had a huge impact on me. Also I'm so happy that you had the change to continue the series on.

When you paused in the video to read the words spoken by Dr. Jiyoung Lee, “..by ordinary people through unity and coalition,” I couldn’t help but smile. This clip is from a video released a few years ago. She is a professor of philosophy and author of the book BTS Art Revolution. She was one of the first to shine a light for others who did not know or even care about the idol group or their little groupies. No, not to the world. She shined a light and opened the hearts and minds of South Korean citizens at a time when most in BTS’s homeland were NOT paying attention to them. She was the first person I heard give the profound facts of life in the Bangtan world and why BTS and ARMY should no longer be mentioned as an afterthought. If OG-ARMY paved the way, Dr. Jiyoung Lee came along and smoothed the road. She not only shared a knowledge and a deep love for what the group gave to the world from its conception but she did so while taking into account the power and push by international ARMYs. And she was the first to do so. The video is only about 20min. Take a look, or even react to it at some point if you wish. I promise you it will leave you with a deeper sense of appreciation like you never expected. And, if possible, a deeper sense of pride that you are now part of one of the most beautiful and impactful fandoms in the history of the world. Bangtan Hard 🙌🏽💜. https://youtu.be/Rhj01Lbuw0I

Thank you so much for resuming RoB….it is both amazing to watch and heartwarming…..

leat

so true i love that interview and kim young dae, or what his name is, did something similar. he talked about the American and korean industry reaction to bts. and a professor at Harvard also talked about them. and they have BTS a bts class at collage, and the korean on dr lee show reacted to it. it was so cool to se how blind the korean society is. because they don´t know English well. and it´s actually the most important thing to learn because you then have a connection to the world outside. and it does not matter if you like America or not. do it to keep updated and gain knowledge.

Ahhh watching this episode made me so happy this is the time I became an army when I was 15 I'm 23 right now. Bangtan's music came for me in a perfect time I think since the lyrics were so relatable to what I was feeling growing up at that stage in life. I remember reading the lyrics to songs like no more dream, N.O, and tomorrow while taking a break from constantly studying and feeling so understood for once in my life I just honestly cried in relief, and if anyone thinks back to that time in their life I think you can understand why it had such an impact on me. I can also remember this era very vividly like they would post vlogs like 2 or 3 times a day sometimes almost every day, tweet all the time and respond to army the community was small compared to now but so dedicated. I even went to watch them for this tour for about 50 bucks in TX with my younger brother for my first concert as my 16th bday present, which is jarring to think about cause I've luckily been able to see them 2 more times since then the last being their last show in vegas in 2022 and watching how much the community keeps growing is amazing. Watching these rise of bangtan videos and your reactions has made me really reflect back on how they've made me into the person I am today. I may not be rich or super successful but I am in a much more better state in my mental and physical health because of them and they encouraged to follow my dreams as i finish college. Most importantly I'm finding my own happiness, they encouraged me to do that with their message. Growing up with my own personal mental/physical health struggles and tense home/school life their music made me feel less alone and like someone cared. As I've gotten older they really have been one of the reasons I've become a better person in my early adulthood i really do owe my life to them and the person I've grown to be. Growing up and still now I looked up to namjoon in particular and listening to what he said it felt like having that cool older brother to give you life advice. I don't idolize him of course but I do value what he has to say a lot as i wish to live with a similar mentality as his. I'm really proud of them and so happy more people are getting to experience bts and their message with so much sincerity. So thank you for giving me this walk down memory lane with ya'll and for delving into them as much as you guys have it's really impressive. I have a question for you guys, have what you've heard of their music and messaging has had any lasting impact on you? Like is there anything of there's that has made you change how you view yourself, life, other ppl etc. because of them? P.S.Again it's jarring to see how far they have come and even more so seeing how young they were(especially in the videos) i remember thinking they were so cool and older when i was younger lol and it's amazing to see how at that age they were so emotionally aware and truly dedicated to their craft.

Kiki

Ughhh, have I said that I love you guys?? Like you are so wholesome and always say the right things. This must be a special Army thing. Thank you so much. This made me really happy 💜

This is so beautiful. Just like Jordan said, I wish I knew BTS back then, because I really feel like I missed out on a lot. I hope the boys will see your comment and answer your question, because I too would LOVE to know.

Twins! Uhm, do you mind if I refer to you as a unit this way? Anyway, I love that you are continuing TRoB. It does make me sad that I didn't know about them back then but as I'm sure you've heard ... This was so beautiful to read, and made us feel so so proud to be part of such a caring, thoughtful, loving and STRONG community. You are a pure example of this! Your comment is so well stated. To answer your question- The biggest thing that has had the most lasting impact on us is their work ethic. It makes us want to work 10x harder, and makes us feel like it is ok to be honest about our emotions, but to always keep in mind that hard work is how you get to where you want to go. Again, thank you so much for your support! Much love 💜💜

Your comment brought tears to my eyes. ARMY is close and very protective of BTS and other ARMYs. J&J are one of us and of course this OG ARMY is behind you guys on the 💯.

Bwana

Great, you will not regret it. If for nothing else, do it for your ARMY soul. You can react to it if you'd like, but it definitely should be a part of your army journey,💜🙌🏽

LIBBY WILSON

ARMY must be vibing on the same spiritual and brain wave length! I just viewed DO YOU twice early this morning! This is my motto now. Even though this was recorded eight years ago, it is so true at this time. I am so loving the ARMY Connection! OG OT7💜×7
