Well, maybe another time 🥰 The Last has very deep cutting lyrics, a very personal and raw song. First Love explains his whole dream, literally his first love and just is so essential in understanding him. Agust D is truly iconic, a song to show off his abilities in rapping but also his pen. Keep an eye on things today. Not sure how accurate it is, but I read an article last week that seemed to indicate that after the Taylor Swift ticket fiasco, Ticketmaster was releasing less presale codes and waitlisted people would be given codes as ticket sales progressed. I have no idea if it's true, but it's worth still being a little hopeful.

Agust D is a great song, a wonderful callout to those who doubted him and made fun of him, but The Last is just...everything. *SPOILERS AHEAD* It's his story in a song. I would love for you to react to it, especially considering your professions. It's a brave song, resilient and powerful. As someone who has depression, this song really spoke to me and made me feel like I wasn't alone. He speaks about his issues with depression and anxiety (the bleeped out part is intentional; it's his therapist asking him if he's ever had suicidal ideations), how they carried over when he was an idol and were even exacerbated because of his status. He references locking himself in the bathroom before a show. I love the care he took for himself, ARMY, and the love and grace given to him by his fellow members during this event. What really makes the song though is the end, the crescendo not only of the music, but of his story. He tells us that he's getting better, that he's learned that much of the doubt he had in himself is actually what he should be proud of. You think I should be ashamed because I'm an idol? No, *that's* my pride. That's my self-respect. I went from performing in front of two people to a sold-out Tokyo Dome where every single person there nods their head with my movement. I debuted and succeeded with a crushed shoulder that I got from trying to survive being a trainee. What have you done?! What a flex! It's such a beautiful, weaving tale of his hardships to his successes. I hope it wins the poll or that you at least listen to it soon. It's brilliant. He's never performed it live. Choosing between The Last and First Love is painful!!! Agust D is a great diss track, but The Last and especially First Love are on another level. People always recommend the bangers, so so many people just see Yoongi as this savage rapper destroying haters. The Last and First Love really show you the raw side of Yoongi, his passion for music, the struggles he's faced, and what has made him who he is. It's really interesting to watch reactors' view of him evolve when they move beyond the diss tracks and realize he's actually a really deep, inspirational, and emotionally complex guy. I have to go with First Love. I almost cry everytime I hear it, and the live performance leaves me on the floor everytime. I really hope you guys go beyond the pole result on this one to explore these other amazing songs!

First Love is my all time favorite song of Suga’s ~ shows off his incredible rapping skills and the innate ability he has to emote from his soul and make you just feel. I tear up every time I watch him perform it live. The Last is one of the most important pieces of music I think has ever been made. But without spoiling too much, content warnings are needed for reactors who are going to be examining the song in-depth like you two. Be prepared to discuss mental illness and s****** if you react to it. Agust D is insane and wild and raw. It’s what got Yoongi the ‘Korean Eminem’ nickname from a lot of western reactors! Honestly of the three options it’s probably the most “birthday” themed in the sense that it won’t make your heart ache but it’s also a bit more superficial and less revealing of Yoongi’s story and journey as an artist. Army doesn’t pull any punches- they’re all AMAZING songs and whichever gets chosen you’re gonna be blown away!!!

Hello Jared & Jordan, i hope you’re well! :) I’m so happy you guys are diving deeper into Yoongi’s discography!! While every SUGA song has a special place in my heart, I HAVE to vote for first love. Let me explain to you why. To me, this song is the epitome of who Yoongi is as an artist and as a person. The topic of this song is both genius and heartbreakingly beautiful. Kinda hopeful too. Without spoiling too much of the song, i can tell you that he manages to brilliantly portray two sides of one story and uses metaphores in a very smart way. He even raps in a slightly different voice to signify the change of perspective. When i first heard it, i just had tears streaming down my face instantly (and i am not someone who cries easily). The lyrics are so deep and touching, i’m always so grateful that Yoongi chooses to share his feelings with us through music, i feel very privileged and honored to be able to listen to it. While he might not express it in a conventional way, armys know how deeply, purely and honestly Yoongi loves. But i'm sure you'll discover more of his personality along your journey! This song is like a perfectly written story to me, i can picture every lyric and can feel the love, the pain and the passion he put into this song. The other day i was driving, it was late at night and i had music playing. Then, the first notes of first love started playing and i sobbed uncontrollably. I cant explain to you why, i wasn’t sad, i wasn’t tired, i wasn't upset or angry. I cried throughout the whole song and then i was okay again. It’s one of those songs that stuck to me the second i heard it and i don’t think it’ll ever leave me (at least i hope so). Anyways enough rambling, regardless of what you’ll react to, i'm looking forward to your next video! Also, i really wanna thank you for always taking your time for each and every piece of content you consume and for appreciating the boys without any prejudice. Take care guys, greetings from France! 🇫🇷 PS: just a quick side note for context: in the song, he briefly mentions his shoulder (he also talks about it in ‘The Last’, my second favorite Agust D song). I dont know if you're aware of the whole story but basically pre-debut, Yoongi was working as a delivery boy (while being a trainee). One day, he had an accident and a car ended up over his head, crushing his shoulder. He didnt tell bighit at the beginning because he was afraid that they were gonna send him home and therefore end his dream of being a musician (+ they were paying for his college tuition that nor he or his family could afford). So for years, he suffered tremendously. Not even the members knew what happened to him, he told them he fell down the stairs. They learnt it way later and discussed it in their documentary ‘Burn the Stage' which came out end of 2018. He eventually told the company a little later after the accident and they of course provided some relief for him but it was never enough, he had to get injections every 2-3 weeks, even on tour. During the Map Of The Soul ON:E concert was when his condition was at its worst and he was in too much pain. Then a month later in November of 2020, bighit announced that Yoongi would take a break from group activities to finally have surgery on his shoulder and then start rehabilitation training. The members always made sure to include him everywhere it was so cute and funny. They called him during award ceremony speeches, purposely left his spot empty during choreographies, had cardboard cutouts and pictures of him during the filming of RUN BTS and even had an hologram (yes you read that right) of him performing Life Goes On at MAMA 2020. The surgery went very well and after a lot of effort, Yoongi was finally able to have a fuller range of motion, something he was not capable of since the accident. At the end, he couldn’t even raise his arm. I can’t even imagine in how much pain he was all this time. I love them all, especially First Love, but I cannot physically make myself vote for anything outside of Agust D. I heard this song at the VERY beginning stages of my BTS journey, and at that moment I realized…..holy sh*t these guys can musically go toe to toe with anyone on the planet. Found out later that they are also some of the best humans surrounded by the best ARMY on the planet. But yeah, Agust D was my gateway drug 😂

I honestly love all these choices. However, I guess it depends on what you're looking for exactly. If you're looking for something on the hype/aggressive type, Agust D would be perfect. But if you're looking for something rawer and wish to delve into the vulnerable side of Suga, The Last would be it. If you're looking for something that explains what started it all and what makes Yoongi's heart beat, First Love is it. :) Regardless of what song you guys decide to do, I'm sure we'll all have fun diving into it with you!

This is the hardest poll ever can we have 3??? 😅 These 3 songs are great and represent a big part of Yoongi's life.. it's really hard to choose.. You'll miss out if you skip any of these.. My top song here is First Love, it really shows you how he feels about making music, his beginnings and his deep love for it. This song makes me cry so much because of the emotion that Yoongi lets out while singing this song. The live version is so powerful and it will be impossible to not be moved by it. The Last, is the song that is very close to me. Having suffered about mental health myself, this song is the one I resonate to the most. And this eventually helped me cope on my own battles. This is the most vulnerable Yoongi has been on his songs (and also on Dear My Friend, one of my faves). Agust D is the song that a lot of hiphop lovers love, it shows Yoongi's skill as an MC while roasting those who disrespects them. This is his response to the event from the interview with B**ee. This will always leave viewer in awe of his amazing talent.. Yoongi has lots of song that will suit both of your taste. I hope you'll be able to do a full mixtape review of Agust D and D2 cause they are both amazing and it is just shame if you'll not hear only a few Yoongi songs. Plus the tour is SUGA | Agust D so you have a lot to cover. On SUGA side my fave songs are First Love, Intro: Nevermind, Interlude:Shadow, Trivia: Seesaw and Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life. They were all so good really that's why it is so hard to choose.

My experience over the years of being army and dealing with TicketThugs(AKA-ticketmaster but they are master of NOTHING) is never a good one. I just finished the ticket buying process and the amount for the tickets have escalated to insane prices. Take it from an OG army, it has never been this way for us. With that said 😅, I've been saying a prayer the last few days that you all get the tickets. Please come to us with good news 🙌🏽. Oh, and we got our tickets. Seeing this man in an arena setting again is how I'm justifying the prices we paid 😭😅

If you have time for a second song, I think listening to both Agust D and The Last will give you a good understanding of what his first mixtape, Agust D, is all about: Fire-spitting savagery and raw, heartbreaking confessions. It's an unbeatable pair to understand who Yoongi is! Huuuge trigger warning for The Last though.. it's not an easy song to listen to, lyrically 😢

I love the last but voted for first love. I think you should get to the last later (or with an entire album reaction) as it deals with heavy personal subjects for yoongi as a person. Therefore I think reacting to it for his birthday and without knowing much of his personal story is not the best idea..

I'm sad that First Love isn't winning, Of course The Last and Agust D are great songs! but First Love shows Yoongi's lyrical prowess more in a less aggressive kind of way as well as his amazing ability to tell a story through rap....it's an emotional song that beautifully explains Yoongi's first love......it's truly a masterpiece that deserves more recognition imo.

I think that First Love is a hard to grasp song if you haven't had the experience. I'm a classically trained pianist and when I was getting into BTS this was the song that did it for me and secured Yoongi a spot as my bias-all the emotions I'm always feeling but was never able to put them into words. On a side note, I actually think that Yoongi's and Namjoon's music is the least general public friendly but that's a convo for another time haha.

First Love is my all-time favorite Yoongi song 'til now coz of exactly what you said...he perfectly described the feeling of having that first love through his words. I was never a rap fan but through BTS and rap line, I've learned that it's not just rhyming and cursing (I was ignorant back then) and it's songs like this that opened my eyes to the beauty of RAP, and yes RM does the same thing with his music....I have a tattoo of his song "Everythingoes" on my wrist coz of how much that song impacted me. If not this time, I hope J&J reacts to First Love coz I believe that anyone who have had or still have a very passionate feeling towards something, or someone would relate to this song.
