Let’s go! I miss Jin lots. Good to rewatch these with you guys!

dulseokbangtan

"Insert youtube link" is adorable 🤣💜

Abbie

Oh man Jins entrance ceremony is hard to watch. I feel so many emotions every time I watch it even now, just seeing Jins face makes me emotional but I’m so glad the members were there with him. I just can’t wait until all their services are complete so we don’t have to worry about them leaving again. The last I heard Jins doing good which is all that matters. What a busy couple months Armys are going to have, I cannot wait! Looking forward to watching this and can’t wait for the upcoming content! - I’ll make a comment after Love you guys 💜💜

Beckyboo⁷

Missing Jin so much. He has kindly pre recorded monthly messages for ARMY. So we got a Valentine video message from him on Bangtan TV. The other members have been giving us little updates on him in their wv lives. They said he texts them in their group chat and Jimin spoke to him recently and Hobi heard from him on his birthday. He's doing well 🙏🏿💜

Chitterlings&Kimchi

Agree with Kenya about your internal notation reminding yourself to insert the youtube link - by the way, you forgot 😆 Regarding your Korean lessons…yes, you want to know how to say a few phrases but going forward, it is a lot easier when you can read Hangul and it’s so easy you can do it in 30 minutes: https://youtu.be/85qJXvyFrIc I genuinely appreciate what you guys are doing. Thank you for respecting the Korean culture and for loving BTS. Keep up the great work!

Kearyce Moore

The run in place warm up is what jin does before every concert and the routine he does with his lips is a vocal warm up.💜

Naeppittam

Jin finished his 5 weeks of basic training and was chosen as the representative of the new recruits in the closing ceremony. He will serve as a teaching assistant in the same company where he did his basic training.

Maka Mars

Ughhh ! I haven’t seen this video since it came out. It was extremely somber but I was extremely proud of Jin. When I seen JK’s face though under the hat, I cracked. I hadn’t cried that long and that hard in a long time.

Angie7

They must not know the capacities of the venues…he said he didn’t know if they had performed for 65k but the they sold out Wembley stadium and that has a capacity of 90k

TeeDub1013

I'm always ok watching Jin's entrance ceremony until I see JK's face. Then I'm a mess all over again. 🙃

Kearyce Moore

Bts concerts have sold out more than 65,000, so jin's nerves were just getting the best during that statement he made. Kim Seok-jin fighting 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

btSunina

i just can‘t watch the entrance ceremony and jin‘s the astronaut performance without balling my eyes out. miss him so much.

btSunina

let‘s just say i‘m glad i watched this first, so now i‘m going to watch your reaction to the run bts episode 🫶

Alix Drifty

Update on Jin: Jin posted photos himself when he finished basic training. He's been given the position of being an assistant instructor at the basic-training facility. So he's going to be helping other people through their basic training for the next 16 months or so. He's doing well! He texts and calls the members often. Jimin has reported to us that the hardest part for him is missing people, and missing performing - but that military life itself isn't difficult for him.

PamTan

All the updates we get about Jin are mainly what the other members say in recent interviews and Lives. Jin usually call them for their birthdays or write on the chat group to say he is doing well. Any other information is not official unless BigHit releases an statement. Jin prerecorded short videos to be released every month. We have 2 so far https://youtu.be/qEKQpCiuw6o https://youtu.be/4fSLR9dY-EU

soyaspinsxxx

The members always make sure to update us on how Jin is doing, and he seems to be doing very well! He posted a selfie on weverse when he finished the 5 weeks of basic training and comments on members' posts every once in a while. The latest one was a "happy birthday jwehope" on j-hope's Instagram post 💜

Kecia ⁷

J&J - you guys must watch Coldplay's "cover" of The Astronaut on SNL

Amani ○°●•7

Wow I really enjoyed this contest mix .... lots of fun.. laughter.. sadness... heartache .. and its so bittersweet to eat up jin content... we need to do it more often 🌌🌌🌌🖤💫 thank you two .. and Jared you did pretty good "trying" not to analyze the games too much .. and just laugh your butt off 😏💜💜

dyxqdthyfv

oh wow ! Ty so much Are you guys going to react to Dark and Wild album??? It’s a must please please !

Selina T

Even tho it’s sad BTS have to enlist in the military, I feel that element of “my time is limited” makes them pursue their goals with even more hunger, more quality, and more urgency than the average person, in countries that say don’t have to deal with these obligations. Anywho, I just wanted to tell you guys since it’s your first go around getting BTS tickets, you really have to sit by the computer, logged onto ticketmaster, with your code ready to go as soon as the clock strikes. Cuz any delay puts thousands of people ahead of you in queue, by the time you get there it’s sold out lol. It’s really intense out there for ARMY, especially with all these ticket scalpers and Ticketmaster doing whatever shady things they do behind the scenes

dulseokbangtan

BTS are very choreographed. Even when they freestyle on stage they plan out their route and when to start wrapping up to get ready for the next song, thats why Jin was so thrown off with what we would think are small changed. Being a part of such a large team you practice EVERYTHING so that everything goes smoothly. Chris not even knowing where he'd sing the chorus was very new for Jin, lol it was funny how thrown off he was. BTS have definitely played for 65k+ people, being on stage combined with imposter syndrome can sometime warp things. As an ARMY for some years and seeing how BTS have very few REAL friends in the industry, I am so so grateful for Coldplay. Chris and his team have been so supportive, kind and protective towards our boys. They genuinely love each other and we see it, I couldn't ask for better friends for the tannies.

LIBBY WILSON

According to the members our Jin is doing just fine. If I am not mistaken his team in the Army won a talent show...surprise, surprise. I miss his goofy laugh. Take care by baby boy Jin! We miss you so very much BORAHEA OT7 💜 x7

Yeontae

I remember V was filming in Mexico but made it in time to send Jin off. I miss Jin so much.

minigin

I miss him so much!! I thought I could watch this without crying...I guess I was wrong 😩 Jk hiding behind his bucket hat is a whole different kind of pain. Waiting for the day they can be together again. Until then, fighting Jinnie! 💜

Singa7⁷

So awesome the relationship with Coldplay that BTS has, and Jin & Chris. So heart-warming, especially when you listen to Chris's introduction in full. And incidentally, Wembley holds 90K, so it could be that the BTS concert was larger. But Jin being humble as always gives Coldplay due as seniors. Love these guys, can't wait for them all to be reunited. Although really looking forward to PJM1 and Suga's solo! 🤗😁💜

Alice

Hobi did a weverse live on his birthday and Jimin joined him for about 10 minutes near the end and they gave us a nice little update on how Jin's doing amongst many other fun little convos and chaotic gold. Might be something worth checking out after you watch J-hope's documentary. https://youtu.be/_kDiHzjm21M (Jimin comes in at about minute 44)

shelby🖤

everyone’s already giving y’all the jin update so i won’t talk about that. i will however talk about how much i miss him. i didn’t ever think i’d watch jin’s departure again but here we are. i’m not crying as hard as i did the 1st time but i still cried again. jin was trying to keep up everyone’s spirits but you could they the others were still upset. jungkook hit me the most. he didn’t say a single word the entire video and the pic he took with jin was so unlike him. he was probably trying to keep it together. all the members are extremely close but they’ve always had a super special bond to me personally. (i could talk about this for hours but i won’t) it’s just so hard seeing them separated. i hope jin’s doing well. i can’t wait for him to get back. i will say times moving a lot faster than i thought it would. only 473 days to go as i write this! (yes i do have a countdown for both jin’s return and ot7s return)

IfraH

BTS definitely had stadium concerts that went up to 80,000 or even more people

IfraH

The biggest BTS concert was the Rose Bowl. The capacity of the Rose Bowl is 90,888, and they sold out in under 10 minutes!!

LaLaJin

Jin's position in his unit in the Korean Army is an assistant or Commander Jin!!! Guys, can you please react to Jin's "Abyss" and the behind the scenes, his letter to Army!! Thanks!!!

IfraH

And how can I forget...they also sold out Wembley stadium for two concerts ! And that stadium has a capacity of 90,00 people

IfraH

So yeah I guess Jin is just being humble or he doesn't realise their level

IfraH

The shows I'm talking about in my comments were all in 2018/2019. Imagine what would happen if they do a tour now. They use to sell out within minutes 3/4 years ago and crash the websites...imagine now

Kimberly W.

As others have said Jungkook hits me the hardest in their send off. His silence in the video was deafening. And the way him & Jin interact is so unlike them together. He was trying so hard to hold it together & it was obvious to me Jin knew that. His eyes when they are watching the ceremony are so heartbreaking. His Jin that treated 13 year old JK like his little brother, goofed off with him, always encouraging him, feeding him, teaching him to cook….their bond is so special. Watching JK at the ceremony reminded me of the time he told Jin “It doesn’t matter where you are. I’m always by your side”. It’s the lyrics to the song he wrote, Stay on the Be album but he specifically said he wanted to say them to Jin.

Saphy

As Army have already mentioned, Jin is perhaps misremembering or perhaps truly doesn't know how big the audiences actually were. He is humble as always 💜 In the 'Love Yourself' Tour Extended in 2019 these are the numbers (found on Wikipedia) Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles - 90K plus per day Soldier Field Chicago - 88K plus per day East Rutherford Metlife Stadium - 98K plus per day San Paulo Brazil Allianz Parque Stadium - 84K plus per day Wembley Stadium in London - 114K plus per day Starde de France - 107K plus per day Japan Yanmar Stadium and Shizouka Stadium – 101K plus per day Seoul Olympic Stadium S. Korea – 129K plus per day Amazing feats all of them. 💜

Saphy

Beautifully said Kimberly W.

Hiya- I see a lot of people commenting about BTS performing at bigger stages...since Wembly holds 90k...True Wembly does hold 90k however you have to remember that the stage takes up a significant amount of room so the full capacity is not used. If you google how many tickets they sold each night for Wembly it was 60k...although Jin is very humble, he was actually telling the truth.....he has not performed live in front of that many people.

Joy Jenkins

BTS History With Enlistment. Every male in South Korean has to enlist into the military by age 28. This enlistment can be postponed if they are in college or request an exemption. In 2020 Jin planned to enlist but then Dynamite was released and blew up. In response the government wrote a new law saying if idols met certain requirements they could postpone their enlistment until they were 30. Since BTS were the only idols who met the requirements it was dubbed the BTS Law. In 2022 there was talk of BTS being exempt from the military altogether but the government wavered in their decision whether to allow it. Instead of leaving it up to the government, BTS took the matter into their own hands and decided to enlist, announcing their decision after the Busan concert.

Joy Jenkins

Speculation: I believe they decided to enlist way back in the summer even before festa. Here’s why, President Moon stepped down as President in May of 2022. He’s been a huge supporter of BTS and I think BTS understood that the government under the new president wasn’t going to be the same. That would explain why festa was so emotional. But that’s just my thought.

Butterful

BTS definitely had concerts with over 70'000 thousand people😂PTD was in the superbowl stadium (4 nights), but they never talk about numbers like that so i guess Jin isn't even aware lmaooo

Butterful

From Jin in the military we've gotten some really beautiful news! If I remember correctly he became a trainer and the leader of his group (which is a very demanding and respected job, so it was all over the news) + jimin and the members have mentioned they are so proud of him and he texts / calls them often now that he can use his phone once in a while :) the soldiers also have talent shows to win days off, and of course Jin taught the other soldiers the dynamite choreograhy and they won 2 days off😂... some soldiers have mentioned they were surprised at how friendly and handsome/tall he was in real life, i'm sure he already has made a lot of friends

emiliemarie

i remember the conversation namjoon and jimin had on the way in the car to that one award's show (was it billboard?) and they were having this really cool conversation about fame and how they were unable to coorelate fame with themselves. it was a really cool thing to see. i don't think i'd call it a 'disconnect' but there is a separation they keep there. the whole "we're just normal boys from korea' schtick is 100% genuine and 100% how they see themselves and i love that they hold onto that

Butterful

yes😂i think they were saying "we're definitely not superstars" even though they won artist of the year later that night at the AMAS, I never know how to put it into words but even though they're the biggest group on the planet rn we see them as ordinary guys / our close friends, I guess Jared and Jordan are going through that phase right now because I remember in their earlier videos, they mentioned how crazy it felt to watch BTS eat ramen like normal humans after their concerts because they didn't seem real, but recently I think Jordan even said "It's so easy to forget these guys are massive superstars" lol

korgi

Wootteo is Seokjin's 2nd son. His first being RJ which is part of BT21. Seokjin created Wootteo for ARMY to keep us company while he's away, it's a little alien/astronaut character he made, it has it's own Instagram as well. he's really cute, there's even wootteo merch on the weverse shop

korgi

yes, ARMY did know Jin was going to perform, BigHit sent out a message on WeVerse telling us about it and they even live streamed in on theaters, i was lucky enough to be able to go to the theaters and watch the entire concert, it was absolutely beautiful, i was definitely the loudest person in that theater lol. screaming and crying my heart out when jin came on. the theater was full of regular coldplay stans, there were a few ARMY's at the theater i attended but i didn't care about that, all i cared about was having a good time and supporting our Seokjinnie <3

Selina T

Yes, great comment

J-Lee

OMG my FAVE brothers why are you like this!!! Surprising us like this isn't good for our heart 😭 I woke up to a Jin reaction from you when I expected only the Run BTS reaction, you're so mean!! 😭 But thank you, I can't thank you enough as you never forget our Jinnie even if he's in the military already 🥰💜 And guess what: Our HOBI is the next to join his hyung!! Hybe just released an announcement just now that he'll soon enlist. Further announcement will be made. WE HAVE TO GO THRU THIS FEELING FIVE MORE TIMES! HANG ON ARMY's!! We can do this, fighting!! Update on Jin: I don't know much right now coz his training is done, they already held a graduation and there are clips out there showing him as the Commander and leader of the ceremony. Such a proud moment! Now, he's been deployed to his permanent duty as ASST DRILL INSTRUCTOR. Basically, he'll be assisting the head in training the new recruits, I suppose. OMG, what if he meets Hobi there?? 😱 They be like: JWEHOPPEEE!! JWAANNN!! 😂🤣 Soooo.. first of all, that's WOOTTEO. That's the character that Jin created for The Astronaut as a merch and he gifted one to Chris. He's been bringing it along in ALL of their concerts. And they actually performed in SNL the English version of The Astronaut, there was one whole choir wearing shirts with badges of Wootteo. I guess Chris is missing his baby brother too like us 🥹🤧 And yep, Jin's appearance in Coldplay's concert was announced as this was the live debut release of TA. It's actually amazing how ARMY really streamed and studied the song that day itself, so they can sing along that night in the concert. And BTS totally had performed in front of those many people. Busan concert alone was 100k attendees. Jin was probably just nervous as it's not their own concert and he's anxious as to how many ARMYs would really come to see him 🥹 I am so proud of him at that time 💜 Thanks for this precious reaction, Jared and Jordan! You really completed my week! Love you both 💜💜💜

Shalia

As i was watching this, received a notification from Weverse. J-Hope next. Guess he will give us Hope on the Street before saying goodbye. Here we go again… 💜

SierraNicole

The timing of this. Rewatching Jin's enlistment with Hobi's now looming. Oh gosh. They're my bias (Hobi) and bias-wrecker (Jin) too. Like my 2Seok heart is breaking.

Hai Nguyen

I just finished watching this and BIGHIT released an announcement saying that jhope plans on enlisting soon.. If there’s one thing that I truly know about BTS it’s that they will crawl, walk, and run down any road no matter how difficult it may be to accomplish what NEEDS to be accomplished. NEVER ANY SHORTCUTS. Seeing them in this new chapter makes me appreciate them even more than I already have. This is going to be a journey like no other and I’m excited. 💜

Seti

I was also just watching this when the announcement dropped. And now Jin and Hobi have turned Weverse into a banter filled gc again. Gah I love them.

Tina

I feel you on that so much. Its breaking my heart little by little..

korgi

J&J THEY'RE TAKING OUR SUNSHINE AWAY FROM US 😭😭 FIRST THEY TOOK OUR MOON NOW THEY'RE TAKING OUR SUN. THE WORLD IS ENDING

Eternity 7

Hobi is going soon now. He is my bias. My heart is breaking oh god

Precious

Both Jin and Hobi are on Weverse right now, having an hilarious conversation. Jin is doing well.

Delilah

haha jin flexing on hobi lmaoooo

Beckyboo⁷

FYI: Wembley was not 90k it was 60K only Football uses the full seats.

Anja

ARMY! Hobi will be okay and come back in good health. 🫰💜 Stay strong! ☀️☀️☀️ 보라해!

Yeritza

So little updates! Wootteo is actually a character Jin made for army while he’s gone. It’s a doll made by him and sold as merch to keep army company while he’s in the military. From what has been said by the members through vlive and articles, he’s doing great! He acclimates really well to different environments and has graduated from basic training and has been promoted to teaching assistant which is really hard to do. Only the best men with the best results and stats are selected to become teaching assistants which means he will work with training new trainees through the rest of his military duties. Lastly, he won a talent show! Even Iheart radio covered this, he trained a group of men some choreo and they won the talent show, earning one day off as the prize! It seems like he’s doing good and he’s able to call his family and friends more as Hobi and Jimin has discussed getting calls from him as he is done with his 5 week initial training! He recently told Hobi that 80 days have gone already, so time is going by quickly :)

Faith

Thank you Jared and Jordin for this wonderful reaction. Now, I feel sad and proud of BTS members since as announced, Hobi is next to enlist in the Military. They truly are an inspiration to many. SN :am excited for Jimin's album and Sad Yoongi has NO tour dates in Europe😥. Thank you 💜💜

leat

BTS had max 55 - 60k at a concert i think. i never understand why they dont fill it out more because so many armys was not able to attend but i think it´s for safety reasons, and they also have a wagon to ride around in, so they can say hallo to all armys in the stadium. Busan was supposed to have 100k people but was reduced to 50k because of traffic and safety reasons.

leat

no but combined with the 10k people in the arena beside the sofi sadium it was 65k and combine that with the many millions in cinemas around the world they surpassed coldplays i am sure hehe

soyaspinsxxx

The timing for this reaction and the j-hope documentary reaction is kinda scary now, since it's just been announced that our sunshine will be the next one to enlist in the military! 🥺 It's a sad day ngl, but watching the doc at this point will be a wonderful present to see our hobi off 💜 I've already sent u guys a message, but if you don't see it in time, please make sure to react to the disney+ version of the documentary first and not the weverse one. The translation is a lot easier to follow for where you are in your journey! xxx

지순

마지막에 정국의 눈을 보면 울었어요 ㅠㅠ모자를 쓰고 잠시 스치며 나왔지만...

Amani ○°●•7

Well I'm not going to correct all the attendance posts for BTS live concerts ... but what I will say is JHOPE had around 105,000 for Lollapalooza 2022. 😏 HOPE ON THE STREETS MARCH 3RD. Get ready. My wrecker and his thoughtful and informative live last 🌙. Watch it if you haven't. 🌌🌌🌌🌌🖤🖤🖤💫 J&j the timing of this reaction ... Fate. 🖤🖤🖤🖤💜

Maya

isn't 105k just the number of attendance that day of Lollapalooza? I'm sure not all people that were there that day went to see J-hope.

Kath

So so so proud of our Seokjin, BTS’s oldest Hyung. He’s always setting a beautiful example. His personality is just lovely. He had to travel 70 hours to Argentina (there and back) for his sweet few minutes to say farewell to ARMY. While there he also did a very important v-live where he talked about the military situation or as he called it the ‘Voldemort’. I can only imagine the immense and intense pressure our boys were going through. My heart was so warm watching the members be there to say their goodbyes to Jin. You could see Jin was as always trying to keep everyone’s spirits up. Some extra info that not all ARMY know… Tae travelled 24+ hours straight from Mexico where he was shooting ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ the day before Jin was enlisting to especially to be there. (The show itself he was filming was so intense that he revealed that he had 3 iV’s to recover when he got back) Jimin had flown back from New York a few days before too where he had schedules related to Face etc. And now we have the news that we will be going through the process all over again with our sunshine Hobi. In the meantime we have Yoongi’s world tour, Hope on the street, Face and Jinny’s kitchen to look forward to. Congrats to Namjoon for his attendance at Milan Fashion Week. Again ARMY please remember to support Tae too. Both his appearance on Game Caterers x Jinny’s kitchen collab on the game caters YouTube channel and Jinny’s Kitchen available on Amazon Prime outside of Korea and tvn in Korea every Friday. The first ep is released already on Prime. Let’s now also send off Hobi to the military with the best support we can with ‘ On the street’ 💜. https://youtu.be/0cWKAJFnBVA (part 1 of Game caterers - 25mins approx.) https://youtu.be/O-mqRaOulGE (Part 2 - 17 mins approx.)

Jess Horton

"Every time I miss youuuu" those lyrics got me. Why do they do this to us?

A. Brown

The Jinny's Kitchen press conference was also a great way to see more of the dynamic of the cast plus get some great info and funny. It's also here on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woWVkcw2Zb8 it's 52mins so even if you don't react on camera it's sill a great source of behind the scenes info. So happy we get to see Tae weekly for the next 10 weeks airing on Amazon Prime Fridays at 9:00am EST and tvN 8:50pm KST. 💜🥰🔥🎉

PhuNara ApoBangpo⁷

Ah Jin. Definitely miss him. I love when Jin swatted the guys hand away. He said eff your handshake give me a big ole hug yah turd. Lmao. No he wouldnt call them a turd. Haha. But hes such a sweetheart.

Kiki

Ahh thank you for checking on Jin from time to time! Now that Hobi is also leaving, it becomes more real that at one point they all will be gone for a while. Jin was hard enough, now Hobi is following. Joon might be next and then Suga will also go. And if that is not enough: I didn‘t get a presale code for Suga‘s tour. I got waitlisted. A friend got a code and she‘s now trying for both of us. To all ARMYs who got codes: I wish you good luck for ticketing today! 💜🫶
