We previously recorded our reaction to Jimin’s appearance on Jimmy Fallon, but never got around to editing & releasing it. So here you go!

Our takeaways:

Despite all of the nicknames that Jimmy Fallon listed off for Jimin (Mochi, Chim Chim, Little Prince and Dooly), Jimin had the best nickname of all: JIMIN FALLON!!!! 😂😂

Jimin’s “LIKE CRAZY” performance was legendary. He transformed the entire Tonight Show studio into a dance club (w/ a full bar)!

Ethereal voice, captivating dance moves, all-white clothing, genuine kindness…JIMIN IS A REAL LIFE ANGEL.

Jimin's Like Crazy performance was actually recorded at the Nebula night club in New York, not in The Tonight Show studio. There are 2 other videos of skits Jimmy did with Jimin. They're really cute (and short, less than 2 minutes each). Please react to them! Going back to 2018, when BTS had their first stadium concert in the US at Citi Field, Jimmy tweeted out to them, wishing them luck, and wearing a Chimmy (Jimin's BT21 character) onesie, and has called himself Chimmy Fallon multiple times. He even wore a Chimmy headband during one of his BTS interviews. BTS has so many great live performances, interviews and games that they've played on Jimmy Fallon, and I'm looking forward to seeing you react to them.

I cannot find the video thread from twitter that I had shared previously too, I think they went private on Twitter. But it was such an enlightening interpretation of the Like Crazy dance and I loved it. It basically talked about how the 4 men represent his masculinity, the 4 women represent his femininity (he even does the mirror dance move with one of the female dancers while singing "All my reflections, I can't even recognize", when the 4 female dancers are pushing and pulling him, he sings "I can hear the voices listening, don't know who they are", etc). Even when you see it while reading the lyrics, the dots start connecting. I do not know if you both are aware, but Jimin has talked before about how he has struggled with being authentically himself (https://twitter.com/ammisays/status/1634212415087755264?s=20) and I felt that he was able to express that struggle and resolution (harmony between his masculinity and femininity) through Like Crazy very well.

I hope someday you can react to the other Jimmy Fallon interviews. Jimmy treats them like real people, and asks good questions. But most important, to me, is that he never makes them the butt of his jokes. Jimin is always charming. He's an extraordinary talent for sure.

Watching this just makes the whole Billboard fiasco even more infuriating! I love the choreography for the live performance. It’s so sensual. The photos are for the 2 different versions of his FACE album, the photo books, cards etc. as each version has a different concept. The moon tattoo on his back is real and I believe it’s inspired by an artist’s rendering that RM showed him. He also has NEVERMIND across his rib cage, Young Forever on the back of his elbows, his 7 friendship tattoo on the side of his index finger, these are the most noticeable ones. I’m not sure about any others. His demeanour is so sweet during these interviews and his English is beautiful. He looks so happy and very relaxed even though he was by himself. Kudos to Jimmy Fallon for the way he treats them and for letting them have a safe space to promote their solo projects by not just saying he’s a member of BTS but by giving him billing as Jimin. The little skits they did were so cute. Thanks guys for all the treats today. You’re spoiling us ☺️😁💜💜🇨🇦

Thank you JandJ! I was so proud of Jimin. Before this on Hobi's bday when Jimin dropped by his WeLive, they talked about how he was taking english lessons and Hobi was so cute to tease him. Jimin was such a superstar at Jimmy Fallon. He was composed but charming. As the global ambassador as he is, he was outfitted in Dior including the shoes, and had a very nice diamond encrusted Tiffany bangle. Jimin has beautiful tattoos. The 7on his finger was the last one he did and early LY he did the half moon on his back and Youth behind his left ear. Tae showed him a fan rendering which they both liked which then he added moon phases. And of course Nevermind on right lower rib was his 1st tat and followed by Young Forever top of his elbows. I saw others suggesting you watch the skit which is adorable. Having watched Yoongi on Fallon too, I was so proud of these 2. They literally lit up NY with their presence. I am sad that Jimin has gone back to Seoul as I was hoping perhaps a Tony Montana perf on Yoongi's last US concert in Oakland which I will be there for both days- I can't wait.! Thank you so much for posting this and Yoongi's appearance. 💜💜

Loved this, I’m so impressed by Face even now, it might be my fav chapter 2 album which is so surprising as I’m a huge rapline fan and love all 3 hyung albums but Jimin worked really hard and face is so cool!

... and here I am. This reaction was so nice. I never heard some of you talk about Jimin as an angel. He has the elegance of a dancer and his angelic voice lifted you up in heaven. Especially on songs like ALONE and the hidden track (only on the physical album) LETTER. 🤍

Been waiting for more Jimin content! It’s hard to keep up with them all when they all give us so much isn’t it?🤣 But I agree, Jimin does look happier these days, he’s such a soft hearted sensitive soul I think, I really do believe the pandemic hit him hard and changed him a little bit( just my observation of course) When you watch old content and lives , he seemed to be pretty confident in being in front of the camera , but then he became almost shy and found it hard to go live for Army on his own, and often asked other members to be with him. And I don’t know, maybe as a mother of sons not much younger than Jimin, I could just see that the sudden change in their life, ( due to pandemic) was really hard for him, and of course all the members . And then when I watched their second online concert ( I think) and he just absolutely broke down sobbing when making his ending comments, it broke my heart to see how much it was all affecting him. Truly an honour though to see that he allowed us to see such raw emotion and pain from him , but also just making me want to give him the biggest hug . I’m rambling, sorry, but he’s my bias so I have a real soft spot for his beautiful big heart , so I’m so glad that he could put all that into this album and allow him to heal a little , and I can tell he’s feeling lighter , like you commented. And then of course when you see him with J hope and Suga these days, in particular, it warms my heart to see their close bonds and see how they have all been there for each other through the tough times. Anyway, sorry, after all that- I love watching all your reactions, thanks guys! Would love to see you watch his appearances on Korean shows that he did, where you really see just how sweet and humble he is, and how much they all love him and are proud of him and BTS.

Hate to add more to that already way too long comment, but when diving into his lyrics on the album, to hear him explain the album and songs and what thoughts he put into it, his Album Live he did on Weverse is actually really insightful , it explains a lot of the meaning behind everything , and also just lovely to see him being honest but his sweet funny self , maybe you could have a look at that? It is long though, so maybe not possible.

Jimin is known to be the most polite even using honorifics when others do not. There are videos of a Korean-speaking American teacher who lives in Korea and has evaluated each member's speaking and Korean dialect according to where the areas they have come from. Jimin, he said is the most polite and uses honorifics even with the members. He must get it from his father.

In an interview, Jimin said that he is still having trouble learning English and that he memorized the things he said on Jimmy Fallon show ... yes the moon phases tattoos on his back are real !
